Food was very tasty, especially the salt and pepper items, the majority of people’s poor reviews seem due to delivery issues, we collected our food and everything was piping hot and fresh. Will come back for sure.

Ordered again after not using for a while. Delivery was on time. Food burnt and basically inedible. Rung for a refund. Eventually managed to speak with owner. Was told they could not come to the phone due to not speaking good English. Eventually agreed a partial refund. Owner came with refund, inspected food . Found her to have very clear English. Partial refund accepted. Will stick with usual local to us Chinese.

After hearing good things we tried it again. Delivery was 105 minutes not the 75 minutes offered and the food was bland.

Lotus House St Neots, applawing service, phoned order at 17.44pm and spent 3 hours waiting for food and they had the brass neck cheek to want to be paid for it when it turned up, driver would not hand over the food, extremely rude and we were a regular customer until this evening.

I always use Lotus house as it is convenient for me and the best one local to me. The dishes are good value and usually good quality. The service is generally quick and you can order on the phone or online.

Been eating there for as long as i can remember, friendly staff and most of the food they make cant be competed with by the other places in St.Neots, and without turning your bank account into a ghost town.

Have used previously and have had pretty decent meals. but one really bad experience. Firstly should not be allowed to let a 12 year old take payments via credit card machine, (only found out afterwards of his age), 3 attempts later and they kept saying card declined, then on 4th time said all ok payment taken, then rang up 15 minutes later to say no payment has gone through, can i sort it out as to why, i spent 25 minutes talking to barclaycard to try and sort out payment, if it had been taken or not, they requested me to do this, only to find it was user error each time. Rang up after food was delivered and paid what i owed when an adult took payment no problem, Owner is rude and obnoxious and shows no care for customers, they then missed dish from delivery to add insult to injury and had to come back, then she argued at the door i was wrong, said we will see you right next time, but now does not want to know, not even a small discount. then to be accused of not paying two weeks later. Avoid and go elsewhere. you dont need the hassle. Only good thing is when you speak to an English girl at the front counter, they can not be anymore helpful.

First time ordered from the Lotus House as we normally go to the China Dragon or Yumi-Yumi however we received their new menu through the post and thought we'd give them a try as the prices were cheaper too. It's always a risk trying somewhere new as we tend to stick with what we know however THIS WAS THE BEST CHINESE WE HAVE EVER HAD!! The delivery time was spot on and the food was piping hot, we both have a chow-mein and it was the best we have ever tasted, it was so juicy and flavorsome and the duck spring rolls were filled to perfection. Will definitely be using the Lotus House from now on!

Every time we've ordered from them the food has always been spot on. Always hot and really tasty. We never have to wait too long either. Highly recommend the house special chow mein.

Ordered pancake rolls on the way home from town, they were still cold in the middle. Went back for a refund. It used to be a good takeaway a few years ago; such a shame.

Chinese takeaway for 4. Good value for all of us. Food was hot and arrived before they said it would. Large portion sizes with enough food for another dinner for 2 the following evening.

Lovely meal, ordered on a Saturday night so expected a long wait but food arrived within the hour and by the time given, food was hot and delicious. Would use again.

We visit here about once every couple of months for a takeaway. The food is always promptly cooked and there is always plenty for a family of four, even when we order a set meal for two with just one extra dish. The counter service is good and the bloke that is often on is chatty and friendly. My son is friends with the son of the owner and it's his new favourite takeaway! Recommended!

Terrible take away, chow main tasted awful and hardly any duck. Even the freebies, the prawn crackers and the free drink didn't arrive with the meal. Disappointed and hungry after spending £18

The wonton soup was fantastic. But I asked that there not be any garlic and the vegetables were covered in it. I couldn't eat the duck as it dunt taste fresh enough. It's always much better food that it was tonight so I will order again.

Hello. This is about my order today (not this actual order). Food as always is lovely, that's why I keep on coming back and having the same dish. However the delivery driver was really quite rude to me because she couldn't get through to me on the phone to get into my flat. I saw a number flash up on my phone and pressed answer but missed it and called her that second. She then claimed it cost her £3 to call me and she missed out on 6 other deliveries because of me. Then tried to give me less change and continued to moan about not being able to get through to me. She also didn't give me my drink that I ordered and paid for. I do hope that my next delivery will be with the lovely and friendly delivery driver guy from the two previous times. He had no issues with getting in touch with me and finding the flat.

My delivery was rearranged for 25 minutes later than originally quoted, so that made it 8.30. At 8.40, I called the takeaway (which is 2 minutes round the corner) and was told it was on the way. Another 15 minutes pass, I call again. Phone is engaged. Another 5 minutes pass. The food is now an hour later than originally quoted. Finally a knock at the door and my cold and soggy food is delivered at last

Food was good but a 18:40 delivery turned up at 18:55 with no apologie when I called to chase or delivered.

They moved the delivery time out by 10 minutes but then didn't deliver until 25mins after that. The order was showing it had been delivered some time before they turned up. Food was ok and warm enough.

they didnt update time on here and it was 90 minutes late!! I called when 30 mins late and still hadn't left the restaurant.. love the food here but they really need to get to grips with delivery time. it has put me off using again.
