Super Wok in Tendring

It was confusing, 3 looked like different dish on the paper came in same marinara same price just veggies and another with only larger shrimp and third sea fish. Thumbs up for opening early on the Saturday then any other Please open from mid day

Without a doubt THE best Chinese food in Clacton, have been using super wok since we moved here and have never had a bad meal, staff are great delivery is really quick and prices are good, can't go wrong ordering from here

Don't bother with the online ordering. Waited, finally rang and they hadn't got the order. Utter waste of time.

Delivery man was lovely but I ordered the salt and pepper chips which didn’t have much flavour, the crispy seaweed was wet? And the satay sauce was cold :(

Have bought from here probably 5 times over last 4 years roughly and the food is good typical quality etc like most places. Portion sizes are not too bad it's nice here. Delivery has always been good time aswell. If work goes well this week I will be buying another Saturday. My order typically consists of Chips Special fried rice Sweet and sour chicken balls Chicken chow mein King prawn chow mein King size crispy spring rolls. I love it.

Ordered to be delivered. Food was cold when it arrived and the chicken tasted weird so it ended up in the bin. Hardly any egg in the egg fried rice and curry was sloppy. Will not waste my money there again.

Had this last night and when I was eating it it didn't taste right I ended up with food poisoning upset stomach all night and sickness this morning will never use this place again

Ok ish, pancake roll swimming in oil had to wrap it in kitchen towel prior to eating, but tasted ok. Spare ribs lovely and tender but totally tasteless. Prawn balls were soggy, rice and noodles ok. Bit of a mixed bag really, not brilliant

Great value Chinese, delivered super quick + still hot by a friendly delivery driver. Crispy chilli beef, salted chilli prawns + sweet + sour chicken were lovely.... not so much the Szechuan pork, but no complaints, really enjoyed our Saturday night takeaway, will recommend 👍

Food is lovely, hot and very tasty. I have ordered a few times and it has never been bad. Delivery is within the time they state. Definitely my favourite Chinese.

Super Wok Chinese Takeaway We have been a customer of this chinese takeaway for many years, but only indulge on special occasions - last week being one of those times. We were extremely excited for our meal which took about 50mins to arrive, but when we came to dish up they had forgotten our chicken balls, which are the most expensive item that we order and is THE ONLY REASON WE ORDER CHINESE IN THE FIRST PLACE 😓 It wasn’t worth calling them seeing as we would have finished our meal by the time our balls turned up! The chips were also not very nice, they were very dry like they had been sitting around for a while and maybe just reheated - they went straight in the bin, and the chilli chicken was very dry with hardly any sauce, very tough and didn’t taste like it had any chicken inside it. I made my own curry sauce because it was all so dry! I guess we’ll be voting with our feet.

Had a take away last night food was great hot and taste it's are go to for Chinese food and the delivery guy was nice and friendly

Very nice, food was delivered hot with a few freebies thrown in at the time I wanted it to arrive. Telephone manner is now good whereas in the past if you got the essex woman with the big accent and attitude to match, forget it .... used them a few times during lockdown and they've been consistently good.

I just went into the takeaway to order chicken balls. While I was there, the delivery driver came in and was talking to the girl behind the counter. They were effing and blinding even though I was standing there. Then the girl’s mum came in and had a chat with her. More effing and blinding. I said ‘you do realise a customer is standing here right?’ The girl behind the counter replied with ‘no disrespect or nuffink but this is my mum and we’ll do whatever we want.’ No respect for the work place and completely rude.

I have been using Super Wok for about 6 months now, and have NEVER had a bad meal from there. They do a house special rice dish which could be a meal in itself! All food is of a good quality and always piping hot when I collect. Staff are friendly and helpful, and will always try and recommend a dish if you fancy something different.

Had takeaway from here a couple of time now and can only say fantastic from start to finish. Very polite service when order taken, very polite delivery driver, never had to wait to long for the food to arrive and always very hot and freshly cooked. We have have a variety of different dishes from the menu and all have been very tasty and freshly cooked. Potion sizes are great to even for the biggest of appetites. Highly recommended.

Food is always nice here so I tried a few times to get through, held the line as requested, only to have the phone put down before payment. So I rang back, only to be told that it's my fault she didnt know I wanted to pay by card as I didnt mention it. Try asking the customer in future, you say you're not a mind reader, neither am I love, normally the person on the end of the phone has the common sense to ask before rushing off the phone. The customer is always right, this one won't bother again.

i was high and this chow mein really saved the day 10/10 for flavour 10/10 for the service, got my chow mein as soon as i ordered it.

Was recommended this Chinese after moving to the area. Food delicious and about half hour delivery time. Excellent choice on menu and helpful staff on phone.

Fed up with being bombarded with menus from a restaurant I have no interest in at all. Had TWO dropped through the door within a hour of each other this morning. IF and when I want take-away, I can look online myself thanks.

Very gd food fast delivery but was going to over charge me by a £5 luckly they put a date on the menu or would have been over charged so please add up before you order and make sure you have a upto date menu.

My friends and I had a variety of dishes from this Chinese. It was LOVELY! I couldn't fault it. The chow mein is the best I've ever had. The portion size was generous, we especially liked the chicken balls. Would recommend! Thank you for a yummy meal :)

Have used this a few times now every time the food is tip top some meals sampled Ribs dry and gravy aromatic duck with pancakes lemon chicken curry all very palatable staff always very polite and helpful if you wish they will deliver

Order on recommendation from a friend, would order from here again, lady on phone very friendly and helpful, delivered on time by a cheerful young man, food was hot when delivered and very tasty

Ordered take away for delivery on Christmas eve. Food arrived at time specified and was all as ordered. The meals arrived hot, freshly cooked and well packaged. All dishes were very good.

The daughter of the family who is normally front of house is kind and friendly she loves it when children come in and treats them, especially on celebrations like Easter, Halloween and Christmas. This makes us go back time and time again. When she is on holiday or studying she is missed greatly, I used to visit fortnightly but I had to hold off for a while due to dieting for a holiday. A must visit Chinese restraunt

Spent a fortune thinking this would be tasty and how disappointing. The food was clearly cooked God knows how long ago then reheated. Fatty ribs doughy balls and fried rice that wasn't even fried! Don't even go there! No thanks take it back!

Always a good idea to order from this Chinese. Never had a bad meal and always prompt and polite. Handy that they know who you are after a couple of orders. Always good with complimentary drink and of course fortune cookies.

Had beef chow mein and sweet n sour chicken balls.Chicken was pure breast meat and chow mein had lots of lean cuts of beef not at all grasey and genorous portion for price i for one will be using again 5 stars.

Quite easily the worst Chinese I have ever had. Everything dry and over cooked. Horrible. Squid was dried out like rubber and then deep fried. It was like it had been open in the freezer and dried to a leathery strip.

Big juicy chicken balls. Whole meal just great. Good value also. Would not go anywhere else for Chinese food. Got 5 star hygiene rating which is nice to know. They deliver super fast to.

Although food was delivered with in half an hour it was tasteless and very bland. super woc forgot half of my order I phoned to ask where it was they said we will send it straight to us we had to wait another half an hour. So had to eat half the food cold. Also delivered drink bottle very warm. Thought we would try them as not for a while it's the 3rd time they haven't got order right thought they would have learnt after complaining before but I've learned now not to order from there dissapoing waste of money and Chinese is not cheap

I always order the bean curd in black sauce (being vegan) & its always delicious & piping hot.... the lady who takes the orders is so polite & lovely...the delivery man is also lovely... superwok is SUPER
