This is one of my personal favourites I love this takeaway great tasting food with reasonable prices they also deliver if your not able to collect.I highly recommend trying it out so get yourself online and see whats on the menu you won't be disappointed

I grabbed takeaway whilst driving through... It was so good I have put Cambridge on my list of places to consider relocating to 🤣 Pineapple and cashew fried rice was excellent and not at all salty as I tend to find fried rice to be. The crispy chili beef is to die for. I have never had such an incredible dish in my life. It was mind-blowing.

Ordered a Chicken Curry and egg fried rice had to chuck it in the bin after 2 mouthfuls, it was way way way too salty, I think they use too much MSG in the curry and the rice, the price was way too high too, £4.50 for egg fried rice is far too much, I won't be going back.

Had handmade dumplings for first time, pork and chive they were amazing. I also ordered the beef chow mein and sweet sour chicken balls, these were quite dry (wish I got more dumplings). Definately will be back to order more. There are my new favourite x Thank you so much xx

We ordered a takeaway on Saturday evening for 11 people. The lady on the phone was friendly and repeated everything back. There were no issues with the huge order with everything arriving hot and fresh. Sad to hear they are no longer doing soups but there is a huge choice still.

Ive never tasted so much MSG in anything ive ever eaten. It's still burning the back of my tongue from your pork curry, which was green super salty paste with bits of boiled chicken in it. Chicken balls very good however Never again

First and last time ordering - This was the worst I've had in Cambridge so far and I have eaten a lot of Chinese food - It was Greasy, tasteless, the sweet and sour chicken hong kong style the chicken pieces are so small you can just swallow them up, the sauce was so watery. The Chicken chow mein was very bland and greasy, tasted like was re-heated. The tiny spring roles taste nasty.... was expecting a big one but these little things don't bother ordering them. No prawn crackers given with my meal like all other Chinese takeaways. Never again am I ordering from here actually ended up throwing half of it away to save my stomach.

The worst Chinese in years. Beef udon: burned.. pork balls: was the pork cooked a week ago? The best bit of the meal were prawn crackers but then again you have to work really hard to ruin them..

This place was a lovely surprise . Food nice and hot. Fair priced. Ive been back a few times. Try them they are good. Local.

Good service, food not so good salt and pepper ribs not as described instead of small pieces we got these large ribs that were more fat than meat, no heat 🌶 either, Singapore noodles again no heat very little meat and prawns also very oily, we used use these guys regularly can't believe how poor the usually great food was, will thing twice before using again.

Phoned for delivery the lady said 40mins but was alot quicker and it was a weekend. Lovely driver too. The food was great

Recently discovered this friendly, efficient Chinese takeaway and so pleased I did. Good portion size and really tasty food. Slightly too much of the additional ingredients in the mains especially onion but really nice. Please get some weed for your fish in the tank though...it puts me off coming in.

Best prices in cambridge, and the best quality food, don’t know why others are charging so much lol

This is the best Chinese takeaway in Cambridge. I travel past lots of other Chinese to get food from here. I especially love their beef chow mein. The meat is never fatty. 10 out of 10

Excellent service lovely food !

Staying in a hotel mid-pandemic with not a lot of food choices to eat out. Ordered a takeaway to be delivered and asked them to tell reception to call the room number cos there’s no phone reception here. They did just that and as a bonus the food was piping hot and delicious. Delivery guy was also wearing a mask. Pleasantly surprised.

Lovely food but the aquarium is too small for the 5 large coi fish in the restaurant

Tried this takeaway for the first time. Very pleased with the food, nice and tasty and good quantity. Friendly staff. Premises appeared clean and tidy. Walked there, so can't comment on delivery service. Will definitely visit again.

Disgusted at the way I was spoke to on the phone. Tried to resolve a problem where they forgot something we ordered but all I got was someone shouting abuse at me, telling me I lied about the order when I had proof and not taking in any consideration of what I was saying and ended the call with a “I don’t care if you don’t come back”. Absolutely horrified at this company. I will never tolerate this customer service ever again. Terrible service.

Not only did they miss our sauces out on our order, when we rang to resolve the problem, all we received was verbal abuse and rudeness. All by some lady who claims she is the manager. Food was vile too. Would not recommend in a heart beat

A Nice place with a nice staff.

Tried to order many times from them but always reject my order saying im too far away despite ordering from them for the past 6 months but all of sudden im too far away despite it being a 15 minuite drive at most.

Used to use this takeaway all the time but they now have replaced their big spring rolls , (which were lovely) with little ones that are awful and have a nasty flavour Also the last couple of times I ordered salt and pepper chips they were so salty they tasted as if a whole bowl of salt have been chucked on them. I shall now go to Chesterton takeaway as never had any problems with them

We ordered off Just Eat and the order accepted immediately from the Golden Crown, and 20 minutes later we got a text telling us our food was on it's away. Just Eat included a 1 pound delivery fee which we paid online. After the confirmation that the food was on it's way, I received a very strange phone call from someone telling me to .ca the restaurant directly. I asked why I needed to call, why the restaurant itself wasn't calling me if there was any issue, and what was the issue- was my food still coming? He told me that he couldn't answer any of these questions and that it was his boss who needed 'urgently ' to speak to me! He couldn't even tell me the phone number of the restaurant- what a rude and pointless call. I was worried and looked up the restaurants number and then had the worst customer experience of my life. The 'boss' woman, who said her name was Lee (although she hesitated to tell me, so she may have been lying) demanded I pay an extra 3 pounds for delivery because we were further out than they normally go. I told her I already paid in full including a delivery fee and there was no mention on Just Eat of this extra fee. She just continued to insist and got extremely rude about the whole issue. A really offputting experience for many reasons! And super dodgy with the phone calls from different people. When the food arrived, about 20 minutes later than it should have taken for a 5 mile drive not in rush hour, it was the worst take away food we have ever had in Cambridge. The sweet and sour chicken balls were completely limp and wet with grease- the batter was soggy! The pad thaibnoodles were also strangely really soggy and tasted not at all of pad thai, but a really poor excuse for a chow mein. And the chicken satay was pure fat with a very watery sauce which really couldn't be classified as a peanut sauce. So we ended u0 throwing out most of this food that we waited a long time for and got harassed about paying extra for, after a very dodgy phone call experience. Never again!

Delish food , exceptional service

The best Chinese in Cambridge. Highly recommend the sesame honey chili chicken and the beef hunun style. We've had many Chinese over the year but this one is the best and reasonably priced too.

Very rude Customer Service. Obnoxious attitude and charged customer higher price than what they advertise in their website menu. Appalling manners and poor etiquette. No politeness on the phone. I will not recommend them to anyone.

Quick service, friendly staff, nice food

Food was delivered quickly (less than 30mins from ordering) but it was lukewarm. The rice was super greasy, literally grease poured from the container. The chips were undercooked, some were raw in the middle. The spring roll was doughy in the middle- again undercooked. Pork vermicelli was warm but flavourless (also spot the pork was played!) Overall disappointed and most of it went in the bin tbh. Wouldn't buy again, its not even "drunk and hungry" standard. Avoid.

Had a takeaway from here. Food was nice, unfortunately it was barely warm, but once heated it was delicious. Not sure that I would order again, I live less than a mile away so the food mustn't have been hot when it left the restaurant.

Tried a few dishes and all were good. Arrived quickly, nice and hot, friendly delivery.

Ordered from here a few times (good customer service) but my last order gave me FOOD POISONING! Vomiting, diarrhea, weak the entire next day and stomach cramps after eating the food hot! never ordering from here again. Much better alternatives in Cambridge.
