Oodles Chinese in Luton

Waited half an hour after ordering 1 regular box and still haven’t received it.

Excellent customer service, the food was fresh and hot. The restaurant itself is clean and the people who work there are welcoming and polite to customers.

I've been ordering Oodles consistently for the past two months via their app. Loved their food so ignored the fact it's always late and most of the times I've had to call to chase. Today's experience has left me particularly peeved. I had placed a Scheduled order this evening for 8.45pm, I had a phonecall to ask if it could be sent earlier, I explained I wouldn't be home any earlier than 8.45pm. They end up sending the order just over 15mins early. I rang to complain and they said it was sent earlier in case of traffic (on a Sunday late evening?!). So I came home to some cold food. Jokers. Being a small business owner myself I understand the importance of Customer service and loyal customers, I've requested a refund but won't be holding my breath. Just in case the comeback is that I was called back and they offered to re-send the food, I declined. With all the traffic they might get into god knows how long it would of taken.

Prompt delivery, good options available.

Terrible. Normally happy with this restaurant but today was just appalling. Food came 45 mins late.. cold and hardly any chicken in there. Called them up and they started giving excuses about how busy they are… how does that affect the contents of food in the box? I wouldn’t have minded the lateness that much but after seeing what they gave.. totally ruined the experience. Couldn’t enjoy my dinner.

The most horrible horrible horrible customer services. First they lied that my order was on it's way, then they lied that it was gonna take another 10 minutes then. 2 uber drivers had to cancel their pick up and the 3rd uber driver told them that I was calling and messaging the driver at the same time. Their answer was. I DONT CARE! DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR. NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN!

The food was VERY HOT but nice. No cutlery came with food despite me requesting. We had to share a teaspoon between three of us. I ordered six Coca Cola due to glitch on app but only four arrived.

HMC Halal and one of the best Tuesday experience for me having 2 boxes at one's price. The staff is amazing, the taste is good and options are plenty. Highly recommended.

I ordered some noodles for my 6 years old son and for me something mild spicy, everything came extra spicy even the one for my son what not suppose to be spicy at all I couldn’t eat

Food ordered on Oodles app at 7.20pm, estimated to arrive 8.20pm, 3 calls later with zero resolution, cancelled and requested refund. Cannot refund, have to ask head office who don't respond. Money wasted. 9.07pm loud music from car in my cul de sac, 2mins later delivery driver from this vehicles decides to knock with cold food. Turned him away as order was cancelled. DO NOT go to or use Oodles!

Great food. I really enjoyed it. Been a long time since i ate some good noodles. Delivery was on time and the driver was very polite. Keep it up.

I Spoke to a lovely person who added extra salt and pepper chicken as I ordered the wrong topping. Lovely service very polite and professional. This is how I expect customer service to be. Thank you so much and we need more people like you.

Places order at 7:48pm and was advised food would be delivered between 8:30-8:50. At 8:40, got a message that the driver was on their way. I live close by so should only be about 5-10min. However the food came 40 mins late since the notification was received and the food was cold. Absolutely appalling service. Had to throw the food away

This is complete bullshit place they are simply calling for trial and grabbing there work and sending them to home and they are doing cash jobs for 5 pounds please don’t go for this work especially the manager will ask us to work trial for 4 days from 11 AM to 11 PM which is unpaid i don’t think its fair

We were served by a lovely guy called Mohbeen. He had a smile on his face, very enthusiastic. Have been a few times and love the place and atmosphere.

Food is really great and not overpriced. The staff are really friendly, I ordered with Mobeen and the service was great and efficient!

Lovely small place you must visit if you are around Bury park area. Visited last Friday and it was quite busy specially lots of deliveries, even though I was busy, still service is very quick and staffs are very nice and polite. Worth visiting and recommending others to visit.

Order was accepted by restaurant, marked as prepared and supposedly sent out but it never arrived and by then I couldn't contact the restaurant because they were shut.

Oodles have great food for even greater prices! They rarely miss on flavour, most of the choices are tasty, and when they say something is spicy they actually mean it. It's a very quite place, hardly any people, but i prefer the quieter environment. The food can often take some time to be made but the wait isn't too long, and it's not unreasonable. They even sell mini ice creams and some iced tea options although the ice cream is a bit pricy.

One big joke. Delivery driver did not even attempt to deliver. He gave my food to some random woman in the lobby claiming that he left it with concierge. Never again. Nobody speaks English in there from drivers to staff!! Can’t even communicate the issue with the restaurant directly.

A delicious experience in eating noodles. The prices and quantity were excellent. I recommend trying it.

Had the vegetable noodles with vegetable rice, crispy chicken and katsu chicken curry. Tasted amazing, spice balance perfect, will be trying again!

Poor service food is yet to arrive even though it was ordered over an hour ago. I live less than five mins away from the restaurant.

I was really disappointed I complained to just eat I was unable to eat the meal as there was chilli in the sweet and sour chicken which on the menu there are no chilli symbol new to the sweet and sour chicken I was unable to eat this and I was refused a refund. If I was able to up load images I would add them but it’s not possible. So I pent £16 including delivery for the dragon meal special ice cream and drink I could only have the dessert and drink. So unhappy don’t order from here I won’t

Delivered after 1hr40mins from making order!

Thanks to Jon, She was very friendly and accommodating and made sure my box was good. She always has good customer service and goes over and beyond to ensure customer is happy.

We grabbed four boxes today and it was my first time trying oodles. Love the deal on Tuesdays and the food was very delicious, the restaurant looked clean, the portion was also good. We asked for more chicken and they gave a good amount of chicken and I was very happy with the order. Jon was very nice and she gave us excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

The food is great but far tooo spicy. I ordered food to eat with my younger sister and chose the non-spicy options but she couldn't properly enjoy it for how spicy it was. It would be better to adjust the spiciness indicator or avoid using things like chilli peppers where items have been marked as non-spicy.

I gave specific and detailed delivery instructions. Despite this your STUPID COURIER, even talking to me on the phone, took 10 minutes to find our home. The meals were then cold!!

been meaning to try this place for a while and finally got round to it on Christmas day! they didn't disappoint! really tasty, delivered fast and thoroughly enjoyed it.. definitely be ordering again sometime soon!

I love the taste and serving size

The food isn’t as described. I feel as though everything is spicy, even when you pick food that doesn’t have a spicy warning icon next to it, which I perceive to mean ‘mild’ The spice level is the same (too hot) regardless of what you choose.

The chips were dry, and the chicken had a strange taste, not being eatable. I had to throw it away unfortunately.

Tasty food and remained hot. Very poor communication regarding delivery- the app was not showing the delivery. Until the last minute it was showing it’s with restaurant and has to phone a few times. Then it showed delivered and I have to go out and search the person who delivered.

Guys , just is poison on a box!!! The amount of spicy chilli you use is just can be fatal for a human. Did make me sick as I was tasting just the spicy in the food. Is unbelievable how you can prep the food like that, doesn’t matter is the recipe, the chef taste the sos or do something when you prep the boxes for people. Not ordering anymore is just a waste of money and also is like eating red chilli not a noodle box. Remember not every one is able to eat the same level of spicy as other people!!!!!!!!

I went two times, I got both times noodles. I told them both times to do no spice at all, and both time they were soo spicy I had to throw them away !

He was over 45 minutes late and when he finally arrived, he didn’t even apologize but instead asked me for a lighter to light a cigarette and he lit the cigarette by my door so the smell got in the house and I have asthma. Never ordering from here again. The food came cold so didn’t even finish the food, had to order something else

HALAL Never eaten a wok more tastier than Voodles. They offer a great taste , live cooking and a welcoming staff. Highly hygienic Very Calm Free WiFi Food comes in a great quality and quantity This is a must go place for friends and families

Recent review Sept 2023 : so I took my meal from here for the last time. They really need to work on their recipes. I got their Manchurian chicken that was just pieces of chicken glued with 1000s of sesame seeds and the whole taste was just of the seeds no sauce at all. The veg rice underneath were all wet but not with the Manchurian. Looks like they were not cooked properly. I'm disappointed now this is third time. Not gonna order again😕 This is the only halal Chinese option I have in nearby areas . Had their Malaysian chicken tastes very nice. I wish they had the option of not having it in a box but I like the taste.

Great Indo-Chinese. I had the Chilli Prawns and Caramel Chicken. The food was fresh, hot and the portion for the regular was generous and well priced. I love the vegetable noodles, they tasted fresh. My friend had the King Roll and the egg rice, Chilli Garlic Chicken and Manchurian Chicken. It smelled amazing and he said it was excellent. Oodles is a hidden gem in the heart of Luton worth a try!

It tasted great but it was really spicy - we only ordered items with 1 spice level and in general me and my family eat spicy food so we were quite surprised with how low the spice level was given the taste...otherwise, it was really nice

I ordered 4 boxes from oodles Luton for my family but it doesn’t taste anything like Chinese food it’s extremely spicy even though I chose the non spicy option for kids still it was too spicy and way too saucy. All the boxes taste the same. 😢

I have had this 3 times now. Really good portion whichever size you choose. You can see what staff are doing and they seem to get on well. However service can be a little slow, but that might be because of orders from just eat, uber they receive. Delicious food, always cooked well and a good variety to choose from. Will be getting some every time I go to luton. I recommend Udon noodles, egg fried rice, chicken in blackbean sauce, crispy chicken

Food has lost taste, small in quantity compared to before and over-priced

Edible food but really disappointing- slop in a box, no care had been applied to cooking any of the ingredients, it was dismal and I should have done it at home for half the price and a way better meal but my fault for being lazy. If you want a good chinese or even a good takeaway I would not recommend

I couldn't eat after one bite, had to throw all away. Waste of my £12. Didn't enjoy at all. No taste, full of spice and all ingredients mixed together in on box tightly. It was my first time ordering from oodles Chinese as I wanted to compare with chopsticks (Luton, Mall). Had high expectations. Definitely chopsticks more better in flavour and quality in my opinion. Won't be ordering again in future. Now I have to find something to eat.

Finally nailed it, since being taken over and completely over hauling the menu, place and staff, they are back to being one of the best noodles places now. Previous chefs and management were un knowledgeable, but since the new takeover and rebranding, I strongly recommend everyone to try out the new flavours taste and great customer service.

Poor staff management and menu is very short after it reopened. So many items are missing lk lamb , fish topping plus little moons ice cream. No point wasting money.

Ordered in-store for takeaway during the reopening promotional period. The food was tasty and fresh. Forks and napkins where provided which I wasn't expecting. There are three sizes, large, regular and value; in my opinion the value box is very small and like a child's portion. I would recommend seeing the box sizes before ordering.
