I love Good Earth Knightsbridge and thought this would be the same as it’s equally expensive. It is not. Awful old dark brown sweet and sour chicken with soggy vegetables….most other cheaper restaurants can at least get this one right.

A very welcoming establishment with polite and cheerful staff. Time from phone order to collection 15 minutes. Quality of the food is excellent. Thoughly recommended.

Amazing chicken balls and egg fried rice. Stevo and Susan loved the food One downside is the children answering the phone but they do a good job and the food distracts me from the downsides

We always got our takeaway from the New Mandarin when they were in Shenley and always thought they were the best, then they had the fire and closed , we tried several other takeaways and then found the New Mandarin were at the Countryman Pub in New Bradwell and went there, the first time back well before Xmas was fine, but we went yesterday (for a takeaway) 10/2/2024 we had half a duck the portion looking much smaller than it used to be, but as it happened it was supposed to feed 2 but when i saw the green on some of the pieces of duck i did not want to eat it, my partner who has no sense of taste or smell picked out the green bits and ate his half of the portion, luckily he has not been ill but i have lots of digestive problems and i think i would have had a reaction. I am posting a phot to show the green bits picked out. As it was Chinese New Year there were a lot of Chinese dining there i bet they didn't have green meet, also since Covid the prices of a lot of things have nearly doubled whilst the portions are smaller.

Esta comida china para llevar es excelente, se han establecido durante más de 40 años y después de muchos años de estar fuera de la ciudad me vine para una comida para llevar. Siempre fueron excelentes, y esta vez no defraudaron; yo tenía arroz frito y al curry especial grande, mi pareja tenía pato crujiente con panqueques los dos compartimos los mini rollitos de primavera. La comida era deliciosa, el servicio era rápido y la chica que sirve era muy educada. Excelente Recomiendo encarecidamente y se lo diré a mis amigos y familiares en la zona!

Used to be my go to when we had visitors it's still good but not the best anymore Having said that on the last two occasions we ordered, it was peak ordering time.

Awful, ordered at 5.30pm order still hasn't arrived at 7.48pm! Rang 6 times and the "food was with the driver"

Ordered sweet and sour chicken... Literally less than 5 bits of vegetable in it, all of which small. Tiny bits of chicken which were mostly batter and were tough and chewy. The rice was ok, but the spring rolls had virtually no filling at all. The worst of it though was being told delivery would be 20mins. 1 hour later we called and was told that it's just gone with the delivery driver (the Chinese is 2 minutes away from us). 20 mins later we call again, and we are told that it just went 10 mins ago. Another 15 mins later the delivery driver turns up and tells me he had only been given it to deliver less than 10 mins prior. Overall, quality of food is bad and is not good value. Delivery is poor and service is awful. It's clear this restaurant wants to make cheap low quality food and will happily lie to keep you on the hook. Avoid at all costs.
