Wingshun in Cannock Chase

For a change we thought we'd treat ourselves to a Chinese, what a disappointment, the spring rolls were more like battered sticks, practically empty and looked more like battered straws than rolls, the chips and gravy was awful, chips were dry and gravy was more like black syrup, and don't get me started on the chicken chow Mein. Such a shame, won't be returning :(

I took my girlfriend to an old favourite but have embarrassed myself, the chips were shocking, my sweet and sour sauce was like p*ss water with some raw veg thrown in. It’s sad to see an old favourite turn so bad, next time my girlfriend chooses where we go…

Good food, they charge for everything, even if you ask for it extra spicy! The staff aren’t very friendly but the service is quick and the food always fresh

Just had an excellent meal delivered within 20 minutes of ordering well done guys could not fault the service in these difficult times 😃😃

Had the best Chinese for ages last night from Wing Shun. There were 5 of us for New Years Eve and we all ordered different starters and mains. Everything was absolutely 1st rate. I think it helps that we ordered fresh and collected ourselves so everything was red hot and really can't fault anything; thank you guys, it was amazing.

Order meals was told 40 mins delvery, over an hour food comes cold order incorrect phoned to complain had to take food back no apology or offer of compensation waste of time and money wont use again

Stopped for a takeaway as it was on the main road & parking outside, Tipping down with rain at the time so dashed in, ordered food then was told they didn't take cards (who in this day & age doesn't take cards?) was told there was a cash machine just a few doors down so braved the rain & set off while they cooked, as it was, it was actually in the next street & a fair walk away so got absolutely drenched :( came back to find the food waiting on the counter, paid & left. Was very disappointed with the standard of the food, compared to other Chinese/Cantonese in the area it was well below. The Ribs were cold & chewy, definitely not fall off the bone, the beef in black bean was extremely salty, the lemon chicken was chewy. The only thing really edible was the rice. Sorry to say I won't be returning :(

Waited too long for food and no apology given, when I complained i was asked ‘what’s up mate’!!! So unprofessional and unhelpful

Weve started to eat here more often as our local chinese has got very salty. The food is good and the portion size is worth the money.

Wingshun used to be my favourite Chinese takeaway, but unfortunately it has gone downhill so much in the last year I can't believe it! Not only is the food now only average, but I got short changed by £10 and they refused to give me my correct change! Orders are rarely correct and customer service is severely lacking! I will never go there again.....awful!

Its always a surprise when you get your order, rarely bares any resemblance to the food you wanted, ordered chicken, got beef, wanted satay sauce got black bean......and that was in one order!! 5 dishes, two wrong!!!! Please get someone with half a brain to answer the phone! Wont be using again, this isn't the first time they have got the order wrong, shame because the food is good 😒 just not what you ordered

The wingshun is an average place for fast food. Sometimes they get the order mixed up so that decreases the rating. Plus they charge £1 delivery no matter what. Even if you pay the amount where you are excluded from paying, you still pay.

Rugeley's first foreign food takeaway and quite simply have NEVER had bad food from there . Take your pick , every dish top draw

Great food. Just a shame the lady on the other end of the phone doesnt have a clue what food orders she's taking.

One of the better take aways in Rugeley, not that we have many though but they have always been nice. Delivery can be slow mind.

1 x crispy chicken in Thai sweet chilli, 1 x crispy beef in Cantonese and two salt and pepper chips.The beef had way too much sauce it was swimming in it, the chips were OK but too much veg and in a container from a chippy, the chicken looked OK (girlfriends) but I didn't want to try it. Fairly expensive in comparison to others around. Probably won't come here again, wasn't great. Friendly enough service was a plus and the speed to be cooked. Free prawn cwacker.

Haven't used the wing shun for a while but must admit we had a really nice meal. Delivered on time, everything hot, fresh and tasty. Would I go again yes I would!

We have always ordered our Chinese from this takeaway ! We always seem to have the same order .. They told me it would be an hour nearly 2 hours later the food turns up that was bad enough when we come to eat they had missed half our order off ! We rung the takeaway up and explained that they had missed 2 of our meals .. Last didn't want to know !! No sorry no explaination no nothing !! Will not be ordering from here again !!

Been using wing shun for a few years regularly and over the past few weeks there delivery service has slipped tonight the worse 40. Mins late and prawn crackers missing

This is by no doubt one of the best takeaways in Rugeley. Great service and great food. Especially the Singapore rice and Kung po chicken. You can even see your food being cooked.

I hadn't had a takeaway from here for years and my son had been in and said how nice the food was,so i thought i would try it and i'm glad i did. The food was tastey and i love the crab balls and the crab and sweetcorn soup for starters. I will definately be going back there.

Me and mother have had take-aways from Wing Shun on and off for 10 years!! Over those years the food has rarely ever disappointed us.It's take-away only, collect or delivery, with bonus that if you spend over £12 you get free prawn crackers! Bargain!!The food is always hot and tasty, I've tried most of the curies and chow mein to side orders like chips and lovely prawn toast!Portions are large and good value for money!If there was one thing I would offer for constructive criticism is that there egg fried rice could use just a little bit less soya sauce as it has on rare occasions has been a tad bit salted, but not enough to ruin the lovely meals!!Everything tastes fresh and cooked from scratch, and there's a nice lay-by to pick up and collect on the main road. Food usually takes around 10-15 mins to cook!They also have set menu's which are good value for money, though could offer more choices in meals.Can't complain, love em!!
