Never had a bad meal from this place . Everything cooked perfectly ( even the chips as it seems people moan about chips even though its a Chinese take away not a chip shop) ..update .. food/service from here gets better and better. Delivery driver ( tall guy) always friendly and food always arrives hot and in reasonable time for Saturdays.. Can pay for deliveries over the phone too which is massive help when no cash in wallet.. A++++

Absolutely appalling. Ordered ribs they were clearly from frozen chewy as hell. The beef satay I’m pretty positive wasn’t beef. The egg fried rice smelt of Fish. Clearly no standards. I would never use this place again. If you look at my other reviews I’m always positive. Absolutely awful

Cost a fortune for wrong meal chips were covered in onion and peppers never asked for and they were cold will not use again

This is place is the best! The quality is awesome, staff are great & the chap who delivers my takeaway wearing the camo is the nicest guy on earth!! I have been using these for 15yrs no where else is as good.

Had a takeaway from here last night it was disgusting the ribs had no meat just pure fat the rice was dry I’ll definitely not be ordering from here again!

Visited for 1st time after seeing how. busy they usually are. How disappointing the prawn crackers were stale. The Chicken chow mein had no taste . The sweet & sour chicken Cantonese style was tolerable and rice was ok.Yuk sung wasn’t good either just like minced beef not pork or chicken as usual All in all not a very good experience and won’t be visiting again

Food was good although a bit pricey. Service was good

We had a great meal, everyone was pleased with their meals. 4 of us in total and all of the meals were spot on.

Best chinese/Thai takeaway great value for money

First time for me, yuk is all I can say. My two dishes went in the bin. Crispy beef was soggy and tasteless, never had it with so much bland sauce over it usually very crispy from other takeaways, Chicken chow mein was watery and in a sauce of some kind.. To me chow mein is fried in soya sauce with beenshoots and shredded chicken and onion. Chicken curry was ok but tepid and the rice, suprise suprise was fine. Considering we spent over £20 and this was a treat for us, we're gutted. Won't be going back in afraid. Staff were lovely and helpful

Had food from here last night (collection). Some of the order was incorrect didn't get the correct ribs that i'd asked for. The ribs I got barely had any meat on them and were chewy. BBQ sauce was very very watery and chow mein lacked flavor. Disappointing

Staff friendly and food ready for collection within 10min of calling. Unfortunately the standard of food was appalling 3 of 4 dishes ordered have gone into the bin completely uneaten.

Have had a few issues with takeaways from here in the past but it's still the best Chinese in Cannock. Can't beat the mixed meat with English mushrooms in the gravy - sooo yummy!

First and last time visiting this place. Hot and sour soup smelt like gone off meat, chow mein was so thin and dry if you threw it at a wall it would snap in half. Chicken balls were decent but £16 gone to waste. Girls on front were friendly but would stay clear of this chinese

Always nice food and within time quoted

We have used jade garden for many years but last couple of times and tonight the chips are not very nice at all soggy some r green or bad not sure what's happening but puts you off shame as staff are very nice, enjoyed all the other food just not the chips

Such a shame I’ve been trying the last 3 times to see if it can pull it back but sadly today was my last time going here. The staff are great which is a shame a bad review is needed but the food is where it’s being scored not the staff. The food is terrible… soggy went chips, watery chowmein and the sauce was like water… bland and the meat was not at all to my standards.. good luck

Curry had no taste, just spice. Barely any meat in the meat curry.

Everything was dire. Shaggy end chips. Watery chicken and mushrooms. Chicken mushy probably frozen but horrible. Sweet and sour Cantonese style horrible with chicken tough never again

Never had a bad meal from Jade Garden, the only thing that stops me giving them 5 stars is the fact that they don't do Squid, please add this to your menu.

Have been using the Jade Garden for as long as I can remember, great food, quick service and always enjoyable and at very reasonable pricing. Only Chinese in Cannock (for me)

Chicken curry was nice, boiled rice lovely but the chips are poor, some are hard as rock and some soggy

My favourite Chinese in the area as they do a large curry sauce unlike any of the others, food always comes quick, hot and tasty, highly recommend!

We live on the canal so go to many takeaways along the way, this by far is the best of them, i always get excited when we get close to Cannock.

Dont normally order from here as am used to ordering from elsewhere. That place was closed today so gave these a go, glad I did as the food was better. A while wait but can understand why, must be popular. Delivery man was very polite.

Always engaged Phoned over 120 times no answer Have you thought of extra phone lines

Between 5pm and 5.15pm I tried 48 times to get through and every time I got the engaged tone so went elsewhere.

Had some great takeaway meals from here. Staff are polite and the speed of service is quick considering how busy it is 👌🏻

We use jade garden every week , food always superb until this evening had chilli pork , got 10 pieces of fat , totally uneatable , called to complain and the response from the girl on the other end of the phone was just, I’ll let the kitchen know , very very poor

Order food 6.30pm came at 8.15pm cold so I sent it back don't mind waiting but expect food to be hot or at least warm will not be calling again would only off taken me twenty minutes to walk there and back to my home and when I called to see where my order was very disappointed with the service as was just told with delivery driver

Food is fine, staff are pleasant and food arrives quickly. I very very rarely eat Chinese food due to msg added.

Always had a good experience ordering (collection only, so I can't comment on delivery). Food is nice quality, with good value for money. I do wish they were on a food app though as getting through on the phone can be difficult.

Ordered food took over a hour to get here charged £2.40 for delivery then when order came was wrong..1 item missing replaced by a extra order of rice. Chips looked like they had been cooked and recooked quite a few times then when phoned back to say order was wrong said that it wasn't there fault but could send out the extra items would have to pay again for the item then pay for delivery again.. Refuse to use again

ordered a meal for collection very good quality food both my beef curry with boiled rice and prawn crackers ( freshly cooked on the day) and my wife's beef with bean sprouts in gravy very enjoyable

We've not ordered from here for months and decided to give it a try in the hope it was as good as we remembered. Quite a wait for food (about an hour and half advised at point of order) but then it was Saturday night. Some food items not super hot but still edible. Really enjoyed my singapore noodles and partner enjoyed his ribs and chicken fried rice. We found it less salty than expected but very tastey and didnt wake up in the night dehydrated! Will definitely be having another one some time soon

It's not a restaurant, it's a takeaway, but it's good. We had food delivered last night & it was even better than usual, delivered on time, plenty of it & good value for money. They have never disappointed us yet.

We use Jade Garden typically once a week. It is always hard to find a Chinese takeaway that has consistency, but Jade Garden has that and it has it to a high standard. We live in Heath Hayes and always have our food delivered. The food is always hot and typically very fast to arrive, if they are busy then they will tell us at the time of ordering. The final positive that I will mention, is that they are able to accept card payments over the phone at the time of ordering.

Best place for Chinese in my opinion

Never had a bad one from here, been using them 10 years now. The meat is always fresh and tastes amazing. Always well cooked and tasty. Also an alright amount. Love the Salt and Pepper chips... Chicken on OK sauce. Curried chicken fillet breast is a beast of a meal. Oh and the ham fried rice is just amazing... Best chinese ever... We always collect and never have to wait long at long. Happy Staff too. Always willing to adapt and change anything we want to. Keep up the good work guys

Unbealivable,have recommended this place to many family and friends since the 90s and have used this place until today being the last!!!So I place my order and they get it wrong!!..No worries I call them and exchange it,then I open it up and it's wrong,no worries,I call them and explain and they say don't call again order somewhere else !!!Massive issues with customer service!!Look forward to speaking to Damien or Pauline !!

Best Chinese ever!! Couldn't imagine using another been using this Chinese for the past 20 years and I don't think I've ever had a bad meal the food is delicious 😋 totally recommend if you haven't already tried it...but if you havent then where have you been?

Think this place has changed owner we used to love this place but it's gone down hill portions are tiny and food quality has gone downhill aswell will be looking for a new Chinese from now on

Best Singapore Fried Rice in Staffordshire

Have used this Chinese for over 20 years even collecting my order as they refused to deliver when I moved ( it's 7 minutes drive) . Have noticed a slow decline in food standards as the management / chef have changed over the years. We phoned to complain about the chicken balls tonight which were dry, tough and stringy and impossible to chew. We were told the manager wouldn't speak to us and spoke to Matt who I see from other reviews IS the manager who offered us a free meal. Not impressed- Why would we want more food at such a poor standard? No offer of a refund. Won't be using this place again.

Great food, but looks like Jade Garden have been hit by shrinkflation! Always enjoyed their specials, either with noodles or rice served in a large tin foil tray with loads of prawns, large pieces of mushroom as well as loads of meat and an omelette. Sadly, now served in a plastic tub, barely any meat and no mushrooms, omelette or prawns. Yet prices same. So sad

Food ok, nothing special, Sorry I know it’s Chinese but I like chips with my Chinese , their chips were terrible, over cooked and dry. Probably won’t use them again.

Have been using these for years but just recently the care and attention by both front of house and back of house has been lacking recently. Food has been forgotten, wrong items sent out and the packing of bass has been terrible leaving food spewing out of the containers as they have got crushed.

Extremely rude manager named Matt after great service using this takeaway for many many years. He says we can’t have our food for two hours. He didn’t say it nicely We are regulars and always tip the wonderful drivers. I think we will just cook a nice Iceland curry out of the freezer. It’s gorgeous curry so much cheaper and we won’t have to listen to Matt the managers off hand manner. We don’t live in the back of beyond only eleven minutes. What is his problem ?

Best takeaway I have had to date

I can honestly say its the worst take away i think i have ever had. The beef was not even edible and by that i mean you could not chew it. The chicken balls were the frozen type but they didn't even cook them right, burnt and dry. The chicken curry, well the sauce was just clumpy and the chicken didn't taste right. The chips, well you cant go wrong with those... yes under cooked, i mean how. Overall, not my first time being disappointed here but my last for sure.
