Blossom Court in Cannock Chase

USELESS! What a joke this place is- it's more of a circus than a take away.. I made a phone order for my family at 6.10pm on a Saturday to be told it would be ready in 35mins. When I arrived, the girl on the front went out the back to check on it, and said it would be 5 minutes. 15 minutes later a lady came from out the back asking what I ordered, to then tell me she has no idea about my order, and they had not done it. Her attitude was terrible, and she was completely unapologetic! It was funny how my order was nearly ready when I had arrived - they must use the same "lie to the customer- just tell them it's 5 mins" to everyone.. Anyway- 7pm on Saturday night I had to go somewhere else to get food. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Disgusting food and disgusting customer service. Ordered a prawn dish (as I don’t eat meat) and they gave me a chicken dish which I actually bit into!! When I contacted them to get the prawn dish I ordered they refused to give any money off or to remake the order so my husbands food was also ruined as we had to reheat it after a 15 minute journey out of our way to collect the remake. Terrible customer service and the food was gross anyway so I wish I hadn’t bothered. Safe to say we won’t be returning.

Normally I would rather this 5 star but for the past few orders. Things have been missing. I ordered sweet crispy beef and got spicy. So rang them and they said it would be sent straight out. My food is now on the plate cold and I'm still waiting for beef. As I dish this up last. So now my food has to be re heated and I'm still waiting for Beef !!!

Food was very nice as usual. It was hot.u get good portions. Staff very pleasant. Including the driver who delivered. Excellent service.

Food quality is extremely good most of the time. Service however is lame. If you’re ordering via FOODHUB your food will arrive before you requested time. Food is amazing rare they av an off day. It does happen tho. Delivery drivers can be loud,(tonight’s driver was quiet I met them at the end of my street to avoid eating my neighbours) bare this in mind if ordering late and have neighbours. All in all tho food 9/10 service 5/10

Absolutely disgusting! 2 of the 3 orders were completely different from what we ordered off the takeaway menu. Went back to correct, and the young man was nice enough, but he seemed to be aware that the menu doesn’t reflect what the chef actually cooks. The food when we finally got it was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. It was almost inedible. The duck was just on the turn. The chicken also smelt as if it was about to go off. We threw it in the bin. Never again.

This is the best Chinese take away ever. We love the food here and no other place compares. So tasty. Crispy batters on the beef and chicken dishes and thick flavoursome sauces. It doesn’t get any better.

Good food always use the app to order gives you a count down when to collect always done in a fast time.

We had issues with our order and they completely accepted responsibility. Can’t fault it. Foods always been great and we totally understand wait times and mistakes can happen Thank you for being honest.

Don't know what has happened we have always had great service hot delicious food ,however, last night food was cold curry tasted as though they had forgotten to put something in (tasteless) with huge chuncks of uncooked peppers and onions had to wait an hour for delivery. Normally fantastic this time not. Sorry!

I should have known as it was ages after it said it was out for delivery. Rang up to complain (never had an issue before) and they were so rude and unaccommodating. They said they would replace it but would take ages as they’d need to collect it first (untouched and exactly how delivered), then cook and send out once food back. I explained it was dished up, I tried a mouthful and it was cold, so would be returned jumbled up from the plate as I’m not sorting it back into different tub, to which they said that was unacceptable and I must have known it was cold if I dished it up and told me I’d already eaten half and was lying….i couldn’t beleive the rudeness. The lady was so so argumentative and repetative and just wasn’t listening or being fair. Honestly an awful experience, waste of money and awful company. Eventually they said they would refund and hung up on me but not holding my breath. Might have to report to the bank.

Best Chinese in and around cannock

Every time I’ve had a Chinese from here I’ve not had any problems the service is amazing and very friendly the food is great

Used many times we have a delivery food is first class and always hot, the menu is large, you can order small or large dishes. The small are a good size, Highly recommended

Ordered food at 738 it's now 9pm and still nothing. The phone number kept ringing out and the drivers number thay was supplied wasn't a real number. Avoid at all costs!!!

Food is tasty and mostly good value. However shrinkflation has hit! The chicken ball portion has halved in size and only comes with a shot glass size of sauce for the same price. Have to find another dish to order in the future :(

Had a delivery yesterday good delivery but food not good this time sorry to say chips hard chicken balls soggy not nice atall and pancake roll hardly any batter on it it dropped apart

God no... I'm making a note too self to never eat from here again 😷 The beef just nooo. I ate 1 bite and didn't go back for another it smelt funky...either like it was off or just days old and reheated 10 times I don't no what was up with that...same goes for the chips and noodles. Better of just going anywhere else. Idk how they have good reviews

Recently moved to the area and struggled to find a decent Chinese. Came across this place and and have stopped looking any further food is amazing always hot well cooked very tasty and decent portions. Would definitely recommend this place over any of the others near by. Only down side is it’s cash only but they are on Foodhub so your able to place your order and pay by card that way. Delivery is very prompt too

I hate leaving bad reviews but we’ve had awful service tonight. Pre order online as you can’t use card any other way. Pre booked a slot- arrived 20 minutes late and just dumped on door step. We had a hair in the rice and another one in the chips. Called to report this and was offered the items to be delivered fresh. This is fair enough however it was take “12-15 mins” which could have been at least 25-30 from previous experience. Also all our other items were not being replaced and why would we randomly eat half the food, especially without the ‘side dishes’ We’ve used these for a while but will be finding a new Chinese!

After having some very mediocre meals from our 'Favourite' chinese take away we were on the hunt for a new favourite. Tried a couple over the last 8 months - just okay, slow delivery, poor quantities, average food. Last night is the 4th time I've ordered off Blossom Court and every time it has been superb! I order using the website and have not had a problem with the order or paying. They give a 1 hour delivery window, last night it was delivered within 25 minutes, but it has never gone over the 1 hour. I like to try different dishes and EVERYTHING I have had has been excellent. My son sticks to chicken curry and egg fried rice and he has been impressed. The quantities are good, we still have enough to do a lunch and the price is good. This is our new Favorite and if they carry on as they are, should be for a long time to come.

We had a special curry on 20th June 22 rice was over cooked/ burnt Chicken and prawns wasn't cook they was cold I gave it one star could not get one lower not going back

I rarely ever leave a bad review for anyone. We placed an order this evening for delivery, no one explained they only take cash, so that was a nightmare for a start as they don’t bother to tell you. They got the order totally wrong when they had repeated it back and the woman on the phone is absolutely rude and vile. The food was below average and not nice at all and the customer service was pathetic. AVOID AVOID AVOID DO NOT USE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Not even my dog would touch the food!

We were waiting for our delivery for over two and a half hours. Fuming doesn’t even cover it! But the food came and it was less then adequate the whole service was just meh! Definitely won’t be ordering from blossom court again that’s for sure!

Food never arrived tried to call over 200 times but restaurant not answering

A driver delivered food to us even though we didn't order then 3 hours later he came pounding on our door verbally abusing my mom and cousin whilst there was kids about it was absolutely disgracefull. We ordered again tonight had the same driver we asked him to appolgise and he refused and said thats how he normally is and then when he finally appolgised it wasn't sincere and he walked of whilst saying it. I'm apposlutely shocked this was disgraceful.

Food Ordered 5:45pm Food Expected 7:15pm Food arrived cold at 8:35pm JustEat said we'd be charged 50% of the bill if we cancelled the order or didn't accept the food when it arrived. We put our baby to bed at 8pm, the delivery driver woke him up to deliver a cold Chinese almost 3hours after we ordered it! Blossom Court itself haven't got back to us! Definitely won't be using them again.

Over the years I have worked away from home & used hundreds of Chinese restaurants & this one is by far the best and it is a take out. You will not be disappointed, I know I wasn’t.

I appreciate that there are delays due to covid but the order took ages to be sorted and delivered via just eat. My main issues were the quality of the food egg fried rice had very little egg and the sauce on sweet and sour had a strange taste. Other parts of order were ok for the family but wont be eating from here again

Absolutely furious. Ordered via Just Eat with a delivery time of 8pm all confirmed and our money taken. Order has not arrived. No answer on the phone at the restaurant. No response on the just eat app. But tries to say it's been delivered when it hasn't and no response by phone or app. Just eat now shows that Blossom Court are not taking any more orders. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Lovely food ordered on a busy Xmas Eve and they didn't disappoint. They were so rushed off their feet but still managed to get everyone's mean ready. Tasty food freshly cooked. I advise you to order on their website early in the day to pick up later to avoid having to wait a long time.

1h45 minutes after ordering, I cancelled my order as it was already 30 minutes behind the confirmed delivery time. 3h25 minutes after placing the order it turned up at the door. As I had already ordered, collected and eaten a meal from another takeaway I told the delivery driver to take it away as it had been cancelled and it was now over 2 hours late. The delivery driver said he’d been having the same responses all night.

Disgusting customer service. When ordered told it would be an hour. 3 hours later still no food and received no updates. Not even an apology was given was just snotty. Would not order again. Complete waste.

Waited over 2 and a half hours after ordering from Just Eat.... Was first told it would arrive at 7:50, then 8:50 due to a delay. As of now (9.20) food still not arrived, and restaurant has disconnected their phone. Disgraceful.

There’s only a handful of chineses I’ll order from in Cannock - blossom court made the cut after I moved further from Cannock and my fav Chinese (Lychee Valley - best in Cannock) wouldn’t deliver to my new house. We’ve always had lovely food at a great price and never had any complaints. Until this month. The Chinese before last, me and my partner ordered our go-to meals which we love from blossom court - only for my partners salt, chilli crispy chicken to taste like there’s a whole bottle of salt in it - so much so that my partner couldn’t eat it, and he’s not fussy like me - strike one. Tonight, we’ve had a tough weekend (who hasn’t lol) so thought we’d treat ourselves, only to have to wait over two hours for food that was of a subpar standard and 90% of it absolutely freezing - strike two. Guess I’ll be driving the extra mile to Lychee again.

If I could give - stars this this would be -5 ordered food after trying to get through for over an hour finally got through after 2 hours the order had not been placed but on the website the order has been accepted. they gave an excuse of lightning has knocked the internet out. Won't be eating from their again.

Food was mostly lovely, but after waiting an hour and a half for delivery we were told they were still waiting for a delivery driver, so went to collect in end. A very half hearted apology for the inconvenience, then got home and found no lettuce for yuk sung. Food quality is important, but so is reliable customer service....we’ll go elsewhere next time

What an joke, we waited almost 2h30 and phoned them twice (after struggling to get through to them multiple times) every time we where told our food is in the kitchen and will be with us in 30min. The owners made no effort to try and lighten the issue. We asked to put an extra rice on our order as the kids was so hungry and was told they cant unless we come to the shop and pay for it first. We ended feeding the kids sausage rolls and send them to bed and cancelled our order. This is the 3rd time its happened at the place and we will not be using them again. We may had felt different if the owner tried to be more concerned about their long time customers.

My go to Chinese. I will say vegetarian options, like every Chinese round here, really needs to be improved. When I ask for my tofu to be extra crispy they made it extremely soggy! Just have to stick to my chips seaweed and spring rolls, they are always nice

Useless, delivery took two hours, was given a lame excuse. Food arrived, late, greasy, inedible and pretty cold. Avoid like the plague.. although the plague may be a safer choice.

Overall food and delivery time was ok, we have used them several times and usually have a long wait in at peak times. Very disappointing order last night as i ordered sweet & sour king prawn in batter and received 5 prawn balls and 5 chicken (was expecting all prawn)! Couldn't be bothered to ring and complain so i just moaned to everyone in the house! I will not be spending money there again.

Food was shocking! Had to return food by myself and they argued over £38 refund.They personally checked every item to prove it was poorly cooked and even then moaned about the refund. And then argued over a £1.50 delivery charge after being a total of 2 hours 20 minutes past our order time. Which I had to make the full journey myself anyway!Had to chase food when it was late. Told me it was out for delivery. But took 30 minutes to drive a 6 minute journey. Wouldn’t recommend such poor service. Was confronted at the desk by the receptionist and the followed by 3 none speaking “cooks” who all cane out to argue about the foodOrder from here at your own risk

If there was a option for no stars i would give it that ordered food for.me n my pregnant wife for them to take my money n noylt deliver my food or even answer the phone when i tried calling lucky enough just eat gave me my money back would never use again

We ordered take out tonight. Two meals were right. The third was supposed to be crispy tofu with a side of rice noodles. We got soggy 4 piece of tofu chow mein. We rang, we reordered. We then got, three piece soggy tofu with veg... still no rice noodles...

We have used this chinese take away several times now. They do both delivery and collection although we always collect our orders. Food is hot and of a good standard.The only problem is they do not take any cards so it is a Cash Only Take Away
