Food is always tasty, delivered hot and fresh! Have ordered many times, tried a few different options. Their fried soft noodles are even delicious to eat without any sauce or meat.

This place never stops amazing me. I’ve had several takeaways from here over the years and everyone has been really tasty and great quality. I’m not sure why other reviews criticise this place its so nice you must try it if you haven’t.

We have been regular visitors and I am very surprised to see them ranked so far down the list of Biggleswade eateries. Lived here for 20 years and we haven’t found a better Chinese takeaway, obviously there are better restaurants but this isn’t a restaurant it’s a Chinese takeaway what do you expect. Portions are good and the beef with green peppers and black bean sauce on a bed of vermicelli noodles is fabulous every time.

Good quality, decent portion sizes, quite varied menu and food always been consistently good. Always a popular choice in our house!

I can't believe some of the bad reviews this Chinese have got , been using this Chinese for two years now and every single time the food is actually amazing!,The food tastes amazing I would reccomend the crispy beef and the satay prawns the best takeaway in Bedfordshire, most food around here is awfull!

The food was inedible, tasteless, nothing like any dish you would expect, most Chinese takeaway/restaurants do similar food but these dishes were unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Swimming in fat, smelled horrendous, literally tasted foul, we ordered 6 dishes and none were ok. Save your money and order from the other places in Biggleswade. Would have given 0 stars if it would let me.

They are aware of allergies on the phone and are great at advising what to have. Vegans can eat with confidence and there are loads of lovely tofu dishes. We take away from here regularly and never had any issues!

Both me and my partner have had food posioning from here at the weekend. Rang and complained but customer service was terrible, non existent actually!! We have both had to seek medical attention, will definitely be reporting!! Stay away unless you want to be bed ridden for 48 hrs

Never again - they treat the customer like they are doing you a favour, oh hello, think it’s the other way round! The guy on the front desk needs to know what the word ‘manners’ means - no please or thank you. The food is not great - cook your rice in soy sauce and put chicken in the Hong Kong style chicken, as you pad it out with a lot of pineapple! Will not return again - Chinese food is top nosh up North, for sure!

Some time since \i used Oriental Express but, after Saturday evening meal, will not be using again. Chicken balls, heavy, greasy with thick spongy dough. Vegetable curry, not much vegetable with a tasteless, watery, floury sauce. Will never use again

We order a takeaway from Oriental Express every couple of months or so. Generally the food is pretty tasty, ordering and payment is quick and easy, and the staff are always friendly. Only once was it not up to scratch with everything being far too salty. Would definitely order from here again!

The fried rice was white rice with sweetcorn and peas !! I couldn't believe I paid for that... it was embarrassing.

If I squeezed my chicken balls I would have got half a cup of fat out of them.....disgusting!!! The chocken balls were really heavy. I squeezed one and sooo much oil came out!!!

Brilliant vegan foods - mock duck pancake rolls, crispy tofu and tofu satay skewers, mock chicken and the telephonist is very knowledgable about what is contained in which dish.

Unfortunately not all the food we ordered arrived and wasn't up to the standard we are used to. Portions of meat not great. The delivery was on time and very polite. Disappointing really as came highly recommended.

I love this place, always honest with times and the food is great, loads of vegetarian options, I wouldn't order Chinese food from anywhere else in Biggleswade, gorgeous!

lamentable es el chino para llevar más cercano a nosotros, pero la comida es normal en el mejor, mucho mejor calidad de otros sitios en el centro de la ciudad. Los platos están sobrecargados con verduras que no son gratuitas para los platos. He utilizado unas cuantas veces debido a localidad pero que es la única razón.

Slow service but the foods alright although somedays you can just keep ringing and ringing before anyone answers

Last time I ordered from here the service was slow the staff were rude and they got the order wrong. I've still not gone back!

call for takeaway in a regular basis and love the little old man that delivers. he is always mindful of the little one sleeping and so never rings the bell. food is always hot and delivery is the standard 45-1hr. i dont mind the wait though. would like to eat in the restaurant soon

Great food at a great price. Quick service and easy access to the restaurant. Unfortunately there is no option to dine in, but my bed and breakfast was a stone throw away, so it worked out great.

Food was ok delivery took 1 hour 20 mins to come delivery driver needs to learn some manners just gave me food and went no enjoy your meal no bye thankyou nothing shocking ill use a diffrent o e from now on

We were staying with friends and they suggested we have a take away. It sounded like a good idea. I ordered Singapore noodles that were tasteless and King Prawn with cashew nuts. It appeared that half of my prawn dish was diced al dente carrots which were quite unpleasant and I have never eaten anything like this in a Chinese before. Very odd.To me at best the food was just average.

I have using this takeaway since 2008. The place is clean, the staff are very helpful, the food is excellent, the price is fair... compare to the other takeaway in town.For all these years, only one or two problems, but when I contacted them and they have sorted it straight away. Everyone will make mistakes, as long as they have solve the problems. I don't know why some people will leave horrible comments when they only got one problem but said that using the shop for many years.

For around 6 years I have always ordered from this takeaway, ordered a takeaway for a few friends and family tonight and it was awful. The ribs and pork were fatty and fully of grease, everything else was rather cold of course making the takeaway a whole let down. We decided to take it back to the shop and explain this to the manager who tried to argue with us and tell us it was meant to be fatty.. Overall awful service and food will not be returning.

Decided at the last minute to have meal delivered. They said it would be 90 minutes and actually took this time. In the scheme of things it was a small order but I have to say it was delicious. Good size portions and very tasty. It's a shame the Jade Garden don't deliver as I prefer their food but not disappointed I went for the Oriental Express option as a worthy substitute.

Live the vegan duck pancakes, tofu dishes are amazing and a receptionist who knows her stuff. Our favourite takeaway

My first takeaway meal from Oriental Express, recommended by my son. Service very polite and helpful and the food ordered was duly collected by my son. I had my usual chicken and pineapple which looked a bit colourless and hadn't a lot of taste. However my wife enjoyed her duck in plum sauce. Overall enjoyable but still prefer my usual provider in Sandy.

I have just had a take away from oriental express and have managed three forkfulls. The rice is ok but the duck Kung po which they suggested was disgusting the roast duck was fatty and rubbery and slimy. As for the chicken balls they were dry and tasteless and my other half managed two asked me to try them then the lot went in the bin. Will not be going there again EVER!

They cook the food in front of you and serve it fast and piping hot but it is fairly tasteless. I have tried hits place several times over the past few years and the result is always very disappointing . Rice is sticky and unseasoned, noodles are dry and tasteless. Perhaps I shouldn't expect more from a take away in an area of social housing where people have had their taste buds dulled by excesses of everything. Watching them queue up before opening like stunned cattle leaves me feeling slightly sad. Still in Biggleswade what choice have you?That said you could eat your very average dinner off the floor, if it hasn't got a 5 star rating it should have one, for hygiene alone. However I think they must have sterilised the food too.Place is pretty characterless as are the staff. I won't try again
