Thy spot upon me was gracefully mediocre. First of many the foolish delinquents that are serving thy food were honestly disgusting. first they don't even serve wagyu beef with all meal. Or even god damn gold plated food for Christ sake. Daniel young was the only good server inside this specified establishment. I ordered thy chicken bean Elden ring box meal combo. it was rather delicious with each bite adding more flavour. 8/10 from me. regards Bartholomew McWilliam the IX

We visit my Aunt annually and when we arrive out comes the City Wok menu. Great food and very flavoursome - the service has always been good and food delivered on time. We look forward to our annual visits not only to see our aunt but also to indulge in lovely Chinese. Just wish we could take you to Kent so that we could eat the food all the time.

Had the worst experience this evening with City Wok. Have been using them for years however tonight will be the last time we ever use them. After ordering numerous dishes for delivery our food arrived and the order was completely wrong! Our beef curry which we had asked to have no mushrooms in had about 20 mushrooms in, we were missing a bag of chicken balls and my mother in laws vegetable rice came full of meat! After calling and explaining this to City wok, we did not want the dishes to be replaced as the rest of our dinner would be cold they agreed to issue a credit note for our next order which was more then acceptable. I then had a phone call 10 minutes later explaining the manager would not agree to this as the order was not wrong! My husband then went down to City wok with our dishes that were incorrect and missing to have a refund for our items that were incorrect and missing. The lady behind the counter agreed this to be fair and went to issue the refund however the manager then came out and refused for her to do so! I am absolutely appalled by his so called ‘customer service’ and would advise anyone thinking of ordering food from them to go elsewhere unless of course you are happy to pay over £40 for half your order and a vegetable rice full of meat!

First try of City Wok, friendly staff. Picking up a take away after a day at Falmouth. Quick service, spring rolls and egg fried rice were lovely. Ordered 2 x house special szchuan sauce and a chow mein. Szchuan was clearly not a szchuan, no chilli, bland taste and suspect it was just the chow mein sauce that my stepson had as they tasted similar. Will stick to my regular take away in the future as we didn't get what we ordered. No other negatives to mention.

So I wanted to treat my mum as it was her birthday, so I decided to pop in and get her a prawn cocktail and they forgot the prawn cocktail sauce. They wasn’t exactly busy because when I arrived he was leaning over the counter like he had better things to do. I didn’t notice their was a problem until I got home. It was just a bit of lettuce no other things and 5 prawns. 😑

Always really good service and tasty food. Always go there never disappointed. Would recommend to anyone

First takeaway we have had from here,and definitely the last . Tasteless and basically inedible even the so called crispy pancake roll was still white, it was so underdone. Virtually all my dinner went straight in the bin .

No one go city wok Chinese in Truro, A load of bull Our order got mixed up and was his fault. He told me it was my issue. I said no he’s the one who misunderstood my order. But because of his mistake wanted me to pay the extra charges. I said no I’m not gonna. And told him my history of working in kitchens, he tried making fun of me struggling to pronounce certain words. Blaming me for drinking, but Its due to a health issue, I was very offended by him and his attitude. That’s no way to treat a customer. He was telling me he was the the owner. But he’s far from it(hopefully) ... we eat the food that wasn’t ours but paid for it, whatever they ordered was horrible chicken and mushrooms with a oily sauce and a soggy pancake roll.

Ordered for delivery at 7.20pm, paying over the phone by card and told it would take an hour and a half for the food to arrive. At 9.15pm there was still no sign of the food, so tried calling but it rang through with no answer. Tried another 15 times in the space of an hour and it just rang through with no answer again. Wanted to cancel by the time it got to 10pm as we started to cook our own food at home as we were starving! Then at 10:20pm I reveived a call from the delivery driver to ask where abouts we were. He had been given the wrong postcode, even though I specified exactly where we were on ordering, as the driver got lost last time and we are only off a main road. The driver was even struggling to make contact with the staff. Our food was delivered at 10:30pm, just over 3 hours after the order was placed. I had even messaged on their facebook page and I have still received no response whatsoever from City Wok. The food is lovely and we always get our takeout from here but the poor communication has resulted in us going elsewhere going forward. Disappointed customers!

Used to be a regular buying food with many of my friends. The recent staff changes are awful, much prefer the old regular staff that treated us costumers brilliantly! Foods great but new customer service is slack. None of my family or friends will be coming back unless the old staff come back

We called in last night on our final night of holiday. The girl who took order was very friendly. The food arrived fairly quickly and even after a 20 minute drive back to holiday cottage the food was still piping hot. It was very enjoyable too, and pricewise on par with what we pay at home.

First visit for a take away. Very friendly staff, tasty food, good prices, all round a happy punter!

Me and my partner often visit this Chinese restaurant, one of my favourite places to eat as nothing is ever too much trouble. They cater to individual dietary requirements. Food never takes too long to arrive but at the same time we never feel rushed. Attentive and very friendly service, would highly recommend.

Food is always good here but today's visit spoilt by the obnoxious and rude delivery driver who works for them barging me out of the way when I was about to order. Apparently a common occurrence according to other staff so not sure why he is still employed.

this take away is well priced the food is good and delivery is always on time. if you like Chinese i would recommend it staff are always friendly

Terrific food, delivered to your door usually within20-30 minutes. Piping hot, fresh and in good portions. Highly recommended.

A stomach problem meant I wanted fairly plain food. We found this on Trip Advisor and were thrilled at the quality of food and brilliant service.

Had 2 chicken dishes peking chicken and satay chicken. Both were exactly the same except 1 had chilli in it. Duck was abnormally greasy. Thank God that's not my localendar Chinese takeaway. Never using this place again.

Took at least an hour and a half to arrive, 40 minutes quoted, some items were good but a number were either wrong or over cooked or bland as well as a few being cold. I wouldn't personally recommend them.

The worst service I have experienced. Staff were unfriendly and frankly rude, they actually tried to put me off ordering as they were too busy. I was happy to wait the expected time of 45 minutes but the 40 minute wait, turned into 1.30 minutes. Honestly, try somewhere else in Truro, City Wok is a joke.

I had dinner here with my bother just before Christmas. The acoustics of the dining aren't great and you only need a few 'refreshed' diners to raise the noise levels quite sharply but it's pleasantly decorated and lit.Service was prompt and courteous. The food was standard anglicised Chinese fare but well executed and tasty. I'd eat here again.

Has to be one of the best Chinese take away, s in Cornwall , great food very tasty not like other places , dishes very good not bulked up with onions like many places , worth the wait to get good quality dishes , have been s few times now and always of a high standard

Phoned at 5:45pm to be told that the delivery driver starts at 6pm so thought that was perfect timing. We called again at 6:40pm, still no food and was told on the phone that the chef was now prioritising our order and was apologised to, which we felt slightly annoyed but felt grateful that we received an apology.We called again at 7:15pm, still no food and was told on the phone that they've been extremely busy and the chef was now finishing our order. Food arrived at 7:45pm, with two items from their menu missing, won't be ordering again.

Would never order from this place again, food was 1hr 15mins before delivered. It was stone cold and greasy, when calling to complain we were laughed at, they offered to come and collect the meal and refund us, upon arrival we were told it wasn't as it was delivered (as in we'd dished it up in excitement) and offered 50% told them to keep it!! Disgusted and insulted, food not fit for a dog!

Don't bother!! Food took an hr & 15 mins to arrive. Put onto plates & it was stone cold & greasy!!! I rang them for them to say they would come pick it up & refund us.. They turned up half hr later offering us 50% back!!! So here we are with no food or money as only got enough out for 1 take away!!Cheers City wok. Never again.. It was that cold we WILL be contacting trading standards!!

Easy payment over the phone, free delivery and food arrived in 30 minutes. Food was fresh and tasty, best Chinese I've had in a while. Loved the extra vegetables in the dishes. Free prawn crackers too!

Came across this gem of a place and wow how great it is. Food is amazing and staff are so helpful. Haven't eaten a Chinese this good in a long time highly recommend trying it

City Wok Take Away & Restaurant, fabulous food & service from Sarah & Natasha in Truro. The food is fresh, fast and delicious, great menu & good sized portions that are affordable, Highly recommended!!

Lovely menu, presented well. Best dim sum I have ever had. The wok tossed monkfish with spring onions and ginger was to die for! The best Chinese food for miles, and Sarah is so accommodating you must go and see her, she will always look after you. They also do takeaway!
