Worst Chinese we have ever ordered. Took 1 hour 45 to be delivered. The worst “salt and chilli” chips. They actually tasted like cinnamon and sugar- no peppers or onions in them. No spice. Chicken chow mein tasted old and not fresh. Don’t usually write a review but this is THE WORST Chinese we have ever had. Did not even touch the prawn balls as scared they would not be cooked. Do not order from here unless they sort themselves out.

If you like overly salted or overly sweetened savory food you will love this place. By item ordered and associated price we have approximately £60 of an £80 order going in the bin as inedible. Satay sauce, where the game was, guess where the peanut is in the swamp of honey. Similar with the shredded chilli beef as in where's the beef in this conjealed lump of who knows what. Seaweed, (okay we all know it's fried cabbage), drowned out by sugar. Bland chicken chow mein, prawns in Peking (salt and honey) sauce. Beetroot coloured sweet and sour sauce that was similar to wallpaper paste was the icing on the cake. I could go on but would add that we didn't get the free prawn crackers or spring rolls either. We got the prawn crackers we ordered in addition to the free ones we were expecting but most of them were singed. I'm unsure why this place is more highly rated on Just Eat than our usual go to, China Garden. I've given 5 for service as delivery was prompt but I'm guessing my experience of their food means they have plenty of spare capacity, as in not that busy. I won't be making the same mistake again.

Worst service in South Ken with several staffs, and problematic hygiene. If you do not wish to be pressed by staff here to decide on what you wanna order multiple times when you have just sit down for a couple of minutes, or stared by waiters when they serve for literally no reason, or having a stomachache after dinner, don't come. You'll thank me for this. It was 19:40 and there's very few customers coming by, so I politely asked the staff whether I and my friend could use the large table instead where it would be easier to make conversations. I would have totally understand if they refused. But in addition to refusion the staff loudly throw sarcasm at us: “that's so weird! Are you coming here for food or dating?”. The other waiter then constantly stare at us as she serves the dishes. My friend had a stomachache later that day, I wonder why. The sand wall restaurant is so cute. On closing day, the old wall lamp remembered to call me to set off fireworks for you. At first, I thought it was a racist who looked down on mainlanders. After looking at the Google reviews, I found out that Lao Deng was a virtuous AOE. Is the restaurant named Jia because there is no home or no 🐎?
