Magic Valley in Hinckley and Bosworth

A fantastic take-away! I use Magic Valley at least twice a month and the food is always great. I collect so can't comment on what the delivery service is like. The food is always prepared quickly. Have had a couple of issues over the 3 years I've been using them but they've sorted the problem straight away so I'm happy to continue using and recommending them.

I order a munch box A every time, always comes hot and fresh, will only order from here

Very pleasant staff always chatty, and the food is the best in the area as its always fresh and very tasty.

Chicken balls very dry and cooked in old oil meal for one and extra chicken balls food cold

Sent the wrong order .. and then expected that i would wait 20 minutes for them to send the rest out for the other food to get cold after i said i didn’t want to do this they got rude on the phone and said give us the food back u can have ur money 🤣🤣 Never known anything like it.. sooo rude! Wouldn’t mind but our order was over £40 Won’t be eating from here ever again!! Food felt cold and didn’t look the best! :) Will recommend to everyone i know to not eat from here ever again

They have a good chef, vegetables are nice and crunchy, portions are good, the price is right (considering the way prices have risen) in the winter there's a fan heater for customers who want to wait. Overall a good performance, mrs Stilton and I usually pop in when we pass through Earl shilton, you should too!

Me and my boyfriend just had food from here mine was cold and no flavour at all.. I had house special curry he had house special chowmain which had no meat in at all and all the noodles were over cooked! No veg as he requested so one thing was ok but basically just noodles over cooked!! We got free prawn crackers but I fed only one to the dog and even he stuck his nose up.. I wouldn't recommend this place. Id rather starve

1 meal was OK my meal was horrible had to take it back, they refunded me £3 50 because I had eaten some, also they have told me not to go in again 🤷‍♀️

Have always used magic Valley for takeaways. Sat waiting for 1.15 hours after being told delivery in 10 mins. Called and the member of staff was arguing with me, advising me we were meant to collect. Will not be using again. Very rude staff.

Amazing Cantonese takeaway, friendly staff and amazing food. The service is always quick, the food is always really nice. All-in all it is a really good place to grab something to eat, would highly recommend 👍

Have used this on and off for years and despite changing hands several times it has always been a consistently good takeaway and very clean. They do however need to update the online menu.

Absolutely awful service, average food. Had my family round to celebrate a big event. Ordered lots and spent a large amount of money. 10 minutes after i placed the order a rude woman rang me, claiming she was the delivery driver and she wanted an extra £5 to deliver the food. Being extremely hungry i paid it. When the food finally arrived we noticed a key dish was missing, i rang the place straight away and they said they would cook it, but i would have to then pay extra for them to deliver it, this time they quoted £7.50. Absolute laughing stock of a company with no idea how to treat customers, even when they made a large mistake, wouldn't recommend.

We love the food however can’t give 5 stars as the menu online needs an update, there was some confusion with prices as they’ve gone up over time (which isn’t an issue) it just would have been nice to know before hand so we had the right amount of cash

First time of going with the new owners. I had lemon chicken which was beautiful. Asked for lemon in a separate pot otherwise it can be a bit too lemony. Husband had special fried rice and asked for an egg on top and extra bbq sauce. Again really lovely as was the fried rice. Will definitely go again

New owners Just Avoid honestly food is just vile 🤮 and if U get hangry when hungry like me😆 for sure order from somewhere else. Tung Hing is very nice 😊 the steak meal... onion n mushroom gravy, chips n peas is soooo good🤤😍

Good food. Definitely will go again. Delivery is nice and fast. Although the guy at the counter is a trainee, I'm still very satisfied.

Food has gone downhill massively despite the negative reviews I had read I thought I would give them a shot as my food before the new owners took over was always spot on. But I can honestly say it wasn’t a good meal and I won’t be returning. The delivery was made in great time and the delivery staff was spot on really friendly but unfortunately that’s as good as it got.

Wow the food is amazing! we ordered tonight it arrived really hot. The taste was just so amazing all our plates was empty. Thank you for amazing meal. 5 stars. Best Chinese in Earlshilton.

This chinese was one of the best but went today and they got my order completely wrong did not take into acount any allergies when I rang up to state what was wrong with my order the guy on the phone was rude and aggressive I ask to speake to manager to be told she wasn't there and they was not prepared to rectify there mistake

Worse chinese I’ve had. Would never order from here again, terrible taste, all of it. I’m a fair man but this was just beyond a joke, delivery driver was also rude to top it off…

Jesus... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING this is the only way to describe this hell hole. Environmental Health please close this place down. Chicken (my arse) curry was like what comes in a babies nappy. Ribs are cooked and then reheated in a microwave. Staff that are even so rude, while the delivery drivers smoke canabis outside waiting to deliver food. Management couldn't run with diarea. Avoid this death trap like the plague. Even the so called chicken was still raw in the middle... they have the balls to sell cans of coke, which say "Multi pack, DO NOT SELL SINGLEY" on it. Raw chicken.....

Best Chinese takeaway delivery around!

Magic valley was taken over recently, up until then this was the best takeaway chineese id had. Last night we ordered our food and were told it would be 40 minutes but it turned up an 1.20 later. The food was disgusting and didn’t taste of anything. I couldn’t even eat mine and I eat almost anything.

Ordered at 6.40pm and was told an hour! Arrived at 10 past 8 Chicken tasted disgusting. Didn’t even taste like chicken. More like a cat!! Asked for duck in pineapple. Was told they didn’t do that anymore and they did it in a fruity sauce. Tasted more sour than fruity. Meat was dry! I found out when I rang to complain that they are under new management. (I can tell!) nothing like it used to be! Gross! Never again!

Used this place for 6 years however used twice in the last week, one takeaway the order was completely wrong.... then tonight we ordered at 5.04pm and told 20 mins for 3 items, at 6pm I rang to be told 5 mins... it arrived at 6.35pm to be told I need to pay £2 over what I was told on the phone! The chips were greasy slop and since when has sweet & sour chicken had chopped up chillies in it!!! Crap service, crap food..., NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Used to use it weekly. But this place and many other similar takeaways seem to have cut back on ingredients and flavour.
