Went for the large starter box got home to rock hard food overcooked and a whole tub of salt on it. Phoned up and got attitude. Worst thing I’ve ever attempted to eat no exaggeration. Complete waist of 19 quid. Totally inedible. Do not order.

Just travelled from sherburn in elmet for our takeaway... very nice tastie plenty of veg meet prawns.. and good value for money.. will definitely be back for more

Always been nice food usually had Thai hotbox with noodles. This time tried curry, wasn’t nice at all sauce was gingery brown colour, onions raw, just unpalatable, crispy deep fried onion rings gooey and undercooked while others were rock hard. Very disappointed. Think we will be trying somewhere else in future. What a shame!

Sorry but beef so so chewy- chicken tasted ‘old warmed up and tasteless’ - even veg spring rolls slimy - whatever you’ve done go back cos it used to be 100%

Just ordered a red thai curry, special curry, beansprouts, fried rice and chips. The red thai sauce was the worst I have ever had. The special curry meat was so tough it was inedible. The beansprouts smelt funny and was in a sauce that I have never tasted. The chips were even cold. Really disappointing as this was a treat for us on a Monday.

Usually ok with this Chinese but just received a curry and it was more like a veggie soup and didn’t really taste like a curry The chips were like they from last night just thrown in the fryer to warm them up and the spring rolls were about the same Disappointed tonight sunrise Sorry

Thought I'd give sunrise a go, what a mistake should have stuck to my usual Chinese takeaway. Ordered chicken balls with fried rice, the balls had either been over cooked or they we're recooked either way the chicken was dry and the batter was nearly burnt. Had to throw half of them in the bin shall never order from here again, disgusting.

Sorted me out with a Hot box when nobody else would. Thank you Sunrise Chinese Takeaway 👏🏼 Took the meal to Moorgate and the Hot box lightened the mood after the disappointment of no mix. No phones No music No talking Only Hot Boxes My top rating so far. 5/5. I will be back soon for the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls

Really nice food and would be one of my go to Chinese’s, just a shame about them never open on any takeaway sites, always says they are closed so have to pay with cash

This place is the epitome of unprofessionalism. We decided to stop using this place some months ago due to poor service and inconsistent quality of food. Well one thing they have definitely been consistent with is the downward tragectory, having given this place another try this weekend, half the order was missing and the other half being a mass of re heated stodge. Response when we rang to inform that half the order was missing? I would rate as not moderately bothered, definitely recommend you do yourself a massive favour and give this place the widest of berths.

We have eaten here numerous times over the years and it use to be good , But Sunrise has got worse and worse in the past year and friends and family have said the same will not be using again , Never no egg in the egg fried rice they say it's shop bought in , Thai green and red curry's soaked in ghee and other main courses , Have rang them and told them less ghee in the food they say ok but still the same , Chips now just doused in fat , The food in general has become poor and speaking to other people they agree with us and are now avoiding this place " Avoid at all cost " Spend your hard earned money on better food establishments what value there customers .

We go here everyweek and the food has always been spoton, however we ordered tonight for home delivery, the order was taken, read back to us with the total price and order placed. When it arrived half the order was missing and as it had taken over an hour to arrive I drove up there to see what had happened. WOW, the attitude of Sarah was unreal, I have never in my life met such a horrible and rude person, she first said we didn't order the food even though she read it back to us and gave us the price. She then said she didn't care that it was missing and went to hide in the back, I moved over so I could see her in the back and asked what she was going to do to resolve the issue, she said and I quote "nothing, I don't care". I asked to speak to the owner but he didn't speak English, so I asked her again to remake the whole order as it would have been cold and she said no and if she did make it I would have to pay for the whole order again. The shop was full of customers and she didn't care at all, even the customers in there looked gobsmacked at her attitude. We will never be using this place again due to Sarah and her unreal attitude, she needs to be fired and never work in a job customer facing again!!! I guess our £35 a week won't make any difference to them.

Chinas de Sunrise, muy buenas sal y pimienta de pollo y champiñones. Recomendaría pollo y salsa de frijoles negros, Chow Mein y la caja picante caliente y picante. ! ! Normalmente toma 40 minutos de entrega pero vale la pena esperar!

Pollo a la sal y pimienta: el pollo más extraño que he visto y probado con pasta empapada. Rollitos de primavera rellenos con algún tipo de baba blanca, no un vegetal a la vista. Chips insípido y frío. La salsa de curry de color rojo es otra cosa, tiñe todo pero insípido. . . . . absolutamente basura todo y tienen la audacia de insistir en dinero en efectivo SOLAMENTE. . . no malgastes tu dinero para pasar hambre.

Costillas con salsa barbacoa en el lado y arroz frito especial excelente el precio es justo. La entrega fue rápida y correcta. Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera.

Absolutely terrible service from them tonight. Food was abysmal (cold and rushed) and id expect better out of a microwave meal. Order was wrong despite it being written down by them correctly. They didnt care. Terrible service..I wont be going back.

Rice stuck together and starchy, Thai green curry tasted like it was out of a jar or ready meal and the chips were rock hard!:(

Hemos usado este llevar tres veces en el último año, y cada vez ha habido algún tipo de confusión con nuestra orden.El domingo pasado pedimos de nuevo - tomó un largo tiempo para realizar el pedido como la operadora le costó entender entonces cuando llegó un plato que pidió expresamente que se no era muy picante picante y otro plato que faltaba.La comida aquí es preciosa y siempre que ha sido una confusión han estado ofreció disculpas y han entregado el reemplazo muy rápido.

Recently moved to harrogate and don't know the area so tried a few Chinese take aways. this is by far the best, all 3 times so far on time and the food good quality.

Always lovely task food and clean too. Speedy delivery. Lovely staff. Lots to offer. Specials also. Lovely salt and pepper dishes and fried rice which are my favourite.. Decent size portiins
