The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

an hour ago I spent £55 on my order,when I received the order there was a chow mein missing(i ordered 2)so I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady I spoke to over the phone said she will speak to the delivery driver and call me back.I received no call back instead 15 minutes later I had the delivery driver and one of the owners(i assumed)knock at my door asking me why I called and said I only received one bag of food instead of two and he said it very rudely.First I didn't understand why the driver and owner needed to come together and secondly I don't know why I was being accused of something I never said.The driver said they will go back to the restaurant and bring the chow mein that was missing.I waited nearly an hour and nothing was brought so I called the restaurant for the same lady I originally spoke to to tell me "I know for certain I put your chow mein in there,why am I accusing her of not putting two in there and she will check the cctv".I just could not believe after spending £55 and the fact I've been ordering from them for nearly 5 plus years to treat me like that for a chow mein.very disgusting and unacceptable.I told her to check the cctv but I still will never order from them again.VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE,I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Please read the other reviews and dont waste your money and time with this place. Food is the worst I ever eaten from a Chinese takeaway. Every thing was over cooked and nothing close in similarities compared to other places, have been eating Chinese food for over 20 years. Just so disappointed.

Dire cold soggy food accompanied by poor service when we complained blaming just eat rather than accepting they cooked it poorly and warmed food up. Quarter duck for £10 was disgusting and chilli beef not cooked properly Do not use this place

Had a takeaway from here, always sceptical anout Indian takeaways as there always nicer in when sat in. I have to say 10/10 absolutely beautiful, fresh, hot. Would recommend and come back here again.

Have been a regular at this take away for a few years. But will be looking for another local Chinese after the food we had last night. Order was, Salt and chilli spareribs. What we received were a couple of normal size spareribs chopped up into small pieces with very little meat or taste. Chicken chow mien. The chow mien was the worst I have had. Processed chicken in uniform strips. Tasteless noodles and no bean sprouts. King prawn chow Mien. Again tasteless frozen prawns. Tasteless noodles and no bean sprouts. They will know who we are from the order. The food was shocking. On that bases we are out and will not be ordering again. The people that we have recommended over the years will be recommended to do the same. A Friday night treat is getting more and more expensive. So will find a place that does not rip you off by serving up very poor quality food.

The food was good, the service was nice, but the place was very cold.

Ordered a takeaway through Just eat. Arrived 20 minutes late. Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg fried rice & chips. Processed cubes of chicken were tastless, chips were a small portion for the price and the sauce was watery. £20:94 bill delivered but £2 dearer than 4 months ago for the same items. Let me know when your quality improves.

Monday evening £30 for Sundays leavings lumpy old rice no egg cold old chips mixed with a few fresh chips when will fryers learn it found the shortest root to the waste bin and if you complain they just blank yousuch expensive rubbish retired chef

Fantastic delivery, amazing food

Hot and delicious arrived early and no items missing thanks for the freebie prawn crackers. Sweet and sour sauce with chicken balls could be more as a little for large portion size

Food is good. Prices are reasonable. Serves a wide selection with an Indian menu as well as Chinese. Portions are good. They also have sharing platters which are good choice and value. Worth a visit if you in the area.

Ordered on Uber eats was very happy the food is great very good .

Used to order from here every week without fail but over the past few months the food has become so bland and flavourless (even when ordering different things off the menu). It’s a shame because the quality of the ingredients and food used to be top notch. The one redeeming feature is that the order always arrives hot.

Had a chicken chow main and chicken balls, both were great! Really tasty and the man serving us was very polite and friendly.

Brilliant takeaways always so tasty.
