Absolutely hopeless, over 30 minutes from arriving to getting the food. How hard can it be? It’s not difficult is it? I cancelled my order in the end. Go to Tao Tao, miles better

Decent food but forgot items that we paid for, understood that mistakes are made but when you pay for certain items you expect to receive them.

The food is fresh and the quality is always consistently good, much better than other Chinese takeaway restaurants in the area. Lovely friendly staff too and will always try to get you your food quicker to you than they estimate.

Have been a regular customer here for many years, we have noticed the food going downhill recently but decided to give it another go, what a mistake, the prices have increased and the food has got worse, I could count on one hand the amount of meat and prawns in the young chow fried noodles and the same with the chicken fried rice, cold shrivelled chips, maybe because we were waiting for over an hour for delivery, no more chances Rice Bowl, shame really because you used to be one of the best takeaways.

Consistently good food and very short wait times. Staff are friendly.

Abs terrible food...salt n pepper chicken wings were dry.tasteless.n reheated. Singapore chow mein was also dry and bland.curry sauce was so so ..i wont be going here again

Had a takeway from here yesterday and although the majority of the meals that arrived were OK, the chicken and green peppers in black bean sauce was not edible. The chicken extremely overcooked and tough and the sauce was so heavy it was almost like a barbecue sauce. The food was also quite expensive. I won't be bothering again to order from here.

Picked up 2x sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style from the rice bowl coleshill at 17:15 today it was clearly yesterday’s sweet and sour chicken re-heated Very stringy and tuff disgusting selling yesterday’s food Horrible !!!!!!! I won’t be using the rice bowl in coleshill again nor will my family and friends

Recently had a takeaway from here and disappointed with it. Firstly the takeaway is what I would consider over-priced when compared to other Chinese take aways however more importantly the food was very heavily salted. Not being a salt lover myself, this completely ruined the meal and I had to throw most. of it away.

Food nice but too pricey. Would like to see thick cut chips as well.

Sweet & sour Cantonese style = hard chewy chicken (break your teeth chicken) sauce was worst I ever tasted, ordered extra pot of sauce it was just jellyfied, should have known better, if I’d lived closer I’d have chucked it at them, counter staff not very pleasant.

Might be a little pricier than the competitors but the food is good, well worth a few extra pennies

Had a takeaway literally just now and I have to say the food is woeful. Probably worth a health inspection. Last ate from this place about 3 years ago and it was rubbish then and it is hoped they have improved. Ordered and prawn and duck curry and it was salty. What is worse is generally with a takeaway curry most will charge 50p to include fried rice…. TRY £2.80 EXTRA!!!! Now this was bad but my mother had a plain omelette with chips and this was far worse. How is it even possible to get something that is 95% egg so bad? Very salty and dry like it may have been cooked a few hours before then warmed up in a microwave!!! The chips also were these limp chewy stumps probably cooked in oven and warmed up in the microwave. Utter tripe. I used to think TAO TAO was bad but this food makes them look like the worlds best takeaway.

This was a great takeaway, after visiting the past 2 times we've noticed a big change in the food and not a good one. The staff are friendly enough but the quality of the food let's this place down.

The food from The Rice bowl must be some of the best Chinese cuisine we have tasted in a very long time. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who enjoys a good Chinese dish 👍

I ordered from here last month and the chicken tasted awful and was really chewy. I ordered again today giving them the benefit of the doubt as all take sways have their off days but it was even worse today. I won’t be ordering from them again.

I Always have trouble with this company getting my order right. One night they messed my order up and asked me too pay for the item they didn’t send and I already paid ! They gave them too me for free in the end but the service here is poor for me. Never had this issue before with any takeaway services

Haven’t ordered from here in a while and it has gone so downhill. Bland, tasteless food doesn’t even fit the description. Will not be ordering again. Expensive for what it was. Was chewy and tasted old.

Far too much oil used, everything was greasy and I only had chicken curry and plain noodles, couldn’t eat it and couldn’t take it back as they closed ☹️☹️☹️

I have visited this place numerous times over past 12 months but i find the portions are small but this place is dearer than every other chinese around. Im surprises it gets any custom if im honest. Tao Tao down the road isnt much better but at least you get larger quantities and it is cheaper

Omg what’s happened to the Rice Bowl, it’s been a while since I’ve had food from here but when I have it has always been really good. I have recently moved to the area and have been excited having a takeout from here, this has always been one of the best in this area. Well!! The food was awful, the price is of the scale, just not what I expected. Come on Rice Bowl, you charged me ridiculous price for a one tray special, that’s rice chips & curry sauce I asked for mushrooms & I had a spring Roll you charged me just over £8, Rip off!! I won’t be coming back!!!!!!!!

Me and my kids had a meal at this place the other night and OMG was the best Chinese I have had in a long time. Chicken balls and chowmien was great. Lovely staff and friendly too.

Decided on a lazy night in with TV as its raining.. Ordered special chow mein and duck & pineapple to share.. . We'd had a busy day and were quite hungry so tucked in.. After a few mouth fulls thought this tastes different but carried on eating... After 35-40 minutes churning started in my stomach, and soon after a dash to the loo.. 5 mins later my other have had the same... We felt drained and empty... but still had the stomach churning..

Been using this takeaway for over 20 years , recently had new owners and the food went down hill and very salty, recently tried them again, something has clearly changed and maybe they have listened to the regular customers, excellent food and very tasty. well done new owners

Chicken in the curry tasted old and was very tough. Prawn crackers tasted stale. Disappointed as normally a decent take away. Ended up in the bin. What a waste

Siendo ese el caso, un precio extremadamente alto (los precios subieron) quitándolos esta noche eran comestibles. Demasiada sal, chile sobre carga, salsa de frijol negro que se quemó, incluso los buñuelos de piña eran asquerosos. Muy decepcionante, ya que solía ser el mejor para Miles ahora le dará un amplio rodeo. Muy pobre valor, caro y horrible comida no comestible. Los nuevos propietarios (suponiendo que lo sean) deberían encontrar al viejo chef.

Best local Chinese takeaway in the local area. The food doesn’t take long and is always lovely! We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

He usado mucho el tazón de arroz, pero el último par de comidas que contienen un elemento de gambas han probado un sabor increíblemente sospechoso: no estoy seguro de que el pescado que utilizan haya estado rondando, o si sus chefs realmente se molestan en probar lo que ' está haciendo para no poner demasiados potenciadores. Si no dan galletas de gambas gratis, al menos esperas que todo sea bueno, pero no lo es. Stopped for food on Sunday evening. Food came very quickly & was hot & tasty. The girl taking the order was really friendly. Ordered a chicken fried rice & was packed with chicken. Well worth a visit

Dos comidas ordenadas y decepcionantes y apenas comestibles. La mía sabía como si hubiera sido recalentada y ciertamente no estaba recién hecha y sabía sosa. La segunda comida fue grasosa y ambas terminaron en el basurero. No regresará a toda prisa.

Not happy chow mein burned and cold, yes really? Prawn n mushrooms unbelievably runny and cold and only 5 prawns. Rice cold, all food even the curry sauce barely warm, except Spring roll which was very very hot too hot to eat. Which was a good thing as it allowed us time to microwave the rest of the food. Food was tasty though once warmed up, except burned chow mein which was ok ish, Not the same though especially as we live only 3mins away. Having said this, food here is usually ok. Mel

Well a good £12.00 over what we normally pay for EXACTLY the same food. It was ok. Nothing to shout out about. Wouldn't go again...as I say we normally pay less for the same food and have it delivered so why would we return.

Amazing food and staff! I come regularly and am never disappointed! The chicken balls are absolutely delicious and have actual chicken in it and the chips are so good they are divine. I enjoy eating a variety of their food, from the shredded beef to the chicken and prawn curry and honestly I have never attempted to try to make my way through a menu as much as for this specific takeaway. On top of the amazing food, the staff are always so lovely and the Rice Bowl has the most gorgeous design for a takeaway I have ever witnessed but it is such a shame that they do not do delivery, however the travel to the Rice Bowl is one that is definitely worth it!

Waiting can be long, food is alright, and the staff are friendly, the place does the job, not expensive at all.

En un llamado para llevar a la familia una noche en septiembre. Siempre tendrás un saludo amable y rápido servicio. Las comidas eran muy sabroso y preparado bien. Un poco especial. Y no grandes rollos de Pancake. Deliciosos! En general, buenas comidas y un precio razonable

As a regular user of this takeaway and have been for probably over three years, the food here is tasty and the service is excellent. We always ask for a hot curry and hot ribs and they always oblige. I drive a fair distance to get this takeaway because it's worth it. It's always ready on time. Be aware though that they are currently closed for annual holidays until 21st August 2016.

El cuenco de arroz es un gran calidad para llevar con un menú grande. Más importante es el magnífico servicio amable! Sin duda volveremos de nuevo!

Visitaremos el arroz Bowl sobre una base regular a veces semanales. El servicio es estupendo tanto en persona o por teléfono, siempre educado, amable e informativo cuando le preguntamos sobre el menú. Buena relación calidad-precio y siempre una gran servicio. Lo recomiendo altamente.

Para una buena comida china llevar siempre nos elegir el arroz Bowl. Estamos un poco aburrido y normalmente para el arroz Bowl especial curry aunque he probado otros platos y disfrutar igualmente. Me gusta que se puede ver en la cocina y la comida se cocina.

La única mejora sería para ellos para entregar. Habiendo dicho eso, puede llamar antes de salir y es usualmente listos para cuando llegues. Rice Bowl cada vez.

I ordered the deep fried stredded beef and satay chicken, which were both really disgusting. Fortunately the egg fried rice was nice. I also asked for seaweed but they didn't sell it. Can you believe it??? Most of the takeaway went in the bin.

Always great and fresh.....always ready in 10 minutes to collect.
