I called up about an hour before they closed and asked if they accept just cash or cash and card, the lady just said ‘we’re closed now, bye’ and ended the call

Had it delivered to night absolutely lovely fresh hot nice portions on time

Ordered bbq ribs which were OK, satay chicken which was chicken coated in curry sauce with raw onion, sweet and sour chicken with chips sauce only over chips, why serve chips and rice together makes no sense this was meant to be a value meal but most went in the bin. I've used before and had a nice meal but dreadful lately and tonight was the worst especially for the cost. Very disappointed!!

Ordered as always from here however must of changed cook. Chicken balls doughie and chicken dry. Sweet & sour sauce watery. Won't be ordering again.

I ordered online so cant comment on the atmosphere,quick and easy,delivery early which was great.food was fresh and tasty,wow the portion size was enough for 2 people couldn't eat it all in one sitting. I had sweet n sour chicken balls,prawn crackers and spring rolls came as 2.very impressed definitely be ordering again.

Service is excellent (I usually go to order as soon as they open). As this take away is only 8 mins walk from where I live and the food I always freshly cooked and lovely I will go nowhere else when I fancy a Chinese take away treat.

The shrimp fried rice I ordered tasted like an uncle Ben's sachet with no seasoning no flavours just a few shrimps thrown in ..for 6.60 ...absolute joke ...awful. No way is this authentic fried rice..its processed and disgusting. Never again. They where my local and used to be good ...now vile

I decided to order from here last night as a treat but lived to regret it as the same thing as last time( which was a while ago) happened again the food was delivered late ,simply not good enough when you spend so much money !!.I rang after 25 minutes of it being late to be told oh sorry the driver is on his way which he was clearly not as after another 25 minutes I had to ring again speaking to someone else this time I had no apology just I will call the driver to which he finally turned up a minute later. Food was ok but chips very disappointing had obviously been overlooked.After this poor service I will be looking for a new chinese in future when I next treat my family.

This is the worst Chinese I have ever tasted! The chips tasted like you were eating sticks of butter 🧈 and all the food had no flavour. I didn't even eat mine so going to get food elsewhere now. My partner feel generally sick after eating the food. I am so shocked.

This is my favourite Chinese in Plymouth, the food is always full of flavour and hot even though we get it delivered. The salt and pepper chicken is a dish I highly recommend!

Although the owners were polite and friendly the food here that I recived was very below average,I asked for plain noodles as that is all my son will eat and upon opening them there where bean sprouts and onions which made them taste vile,the prawn balls were small so definitely not king prawns and they were soggy.

Customer since they first opened, since moving away for short stints and reordering must say on plus side...consistently tasty food, down side..portions are getting drastically smaller especially pancake rolls..what's happen to these sorry sized things now, anyone remember shrinky dinks. Rising costs I know, don't mind paying more for adequate portions and not more for less food, normally have enough for next day, not anymore, time to get me a new chinese. Would have given a five star if they could see the problem too.

Ordered beef & chicken curry, egg fried rice, and RIBS. Partner and I had shared. Except I didn’t have the ribs. My partner started sweating 3-4 hours later and now has severe food poisoning from the ribs We have eaten the same all week. And these ribs are his exception. There is no other answer Update. Called very next day after purchase. Asked why we didn’t come sooner (place obvious closed and food poisoning not instantaneous). And FEMALE OWNER DENIED DO NOT EAT HERE. UNHYGIENIC. DANGEROUS FOOD!!!!

Got off the bus and thought Id get a Chinese as smelt so good! If you go in they only take cash so I couldn't order everything I wanted as only had a couple of quid on me! Couldn't pay by card. I've used this takeaway a lot. We've had some lovely meals, hence the 3 stars. Last night we ordered the below. The roast pork with honey sauce was a new dish for us. It was awful, inedible, it consisted of a few chewy, dry, flavourless slices of pork, on top of half a container of soft, soggy, beansprouts, swimming in beansprout water. In the outside bin that went, as it stank out the kitchen. Usually the chow mein is good, but yesterday it was bad, I don't know if the meat is being bought from a different source but it was again, chewy and not as flavoursome as usual. The chicken balls were great, however the sweet and sour sauce was definitely more sour. Our previous order was the chow mein, which was delicious, we tried the salt and pepper pork for the first time, that was lovely and we would have that again. It was well worth the money. A full box of very tasty pork pieces for £5.80. Maybe it would be handy if on their app they could say what each dish consisted of, I wouldn't have paid £5.60 if I'd known the honey pork, was mostly soggy beansprouts and water.

If you don't like ginger chicken be sure to order the ginger chicken, it is actually a secret menu item called "Onion chicken". Suitable for those without teeth as the chicken is boiled to the point of falling apart. In all fairness, if you don't like food then this place is a top pick.

Great food ..do love the fresh taste. However the fried rice does taste a bit microwave rice flavour. Could be better ...not much seasoning or flavour to it. The value boxes are just right for a nice meal not massive., but a fair size. The Hong Kong prawns are lovely. Could be more seasoning and chillies in the salt and pepper chips. Overall my go to round the corner takeaway. Just wish the fried rice was nicer.

We ordered from Top China on a complete whim and were blown away by the range of vegan options available. All of the dishes were delicious, the food arrived early and we could not fault a single bit of the meat replacements in each of the dishes. I would heavily recommend the Vegan Crispy Duck, Vegan Sweet & Sour Chicken and Vegan Chicken Fried Rice! This will be our new go to Chinese!

Ordered four completely different dishes with different meats - got four lots of the same watery brown sauce with four rubbery bits of something. I've never binned so much food. Insult to Chinese cooking.

No customer service skills at all .. I have been ordering from this place for many years but my last time it was very disappointing I ask them for chicken noodle but instead she give me half portion because I ask her wi no onions . Got a takeaway for the first time from here.. quick friendly service n yummy grub...so tasty I went back the next day and had the same again!!!! I ate like a Lord for a tenner...

I ordered two meals from here yesterday and was pleased with my experience. There is an entire vegan menu which I think is excellent. The two meals I ordered were Vegan Chicken Fried Rice and Vegan Szechuan. Both were great and genuinely tasted of meat. Together it cost £11.30 which I think is great value. I will likely order here again in the future.

Absolute joke ordered food thinking it would be here withing 45-55mins 2hours later was told a driver still hasn't picked it up yet

After waiting an hour for our food we then got informed that the restaurant had cancelled our order, appalling service as they would have known that the order couldn't be made a lot sooner.

Hi Chinese from here i rate Chinese chips as one of the best but on this occasion they were over cooked not nice egg fried rice was not fresh chicken curry was ok beef sambal no real taste paid alot for meal not worth it

As a vegan family not that easy to find takeaway with so much choice this was my first experience and I will 100% be back food was fresh and tasted amazing so happy thank you so much for helping vegan food accessible.

Had a meal delivered recently. The starters were nice from then on it went down hill not nice. Couldn't eat the Mains they were greasy tasted like over cooked tasteless and the egg dish for some reason had loads of liquid in the container. Won't be ordering again. The worst Chinese I have had so far in Plymouth.

Unfortunately, my food was half an hour late. The egg fried rice taste like packet rice, the chips were soggy and the bbq ribs had no flavour to them.

Pedimos algunas cosas de su menú totalmente esperando una buena comida. No esperamos algo de cinco, pero limpio y fresco sería bueno. Pero desgraciadamente eso no iba a estar en este restaurante. Así que llegamos a orden y esperamos pacientemente. Nuestro pedido era grande y decía de 3 a 45 minutos para la entrega. Todo razonable.Avance rápido quince minutos y nuestro pedido ya estaba allí. Ahora tenga en cuenta que he hecho mi pedido cerca de su hora de cierre. No lo hice para ser malo. El conductor entró y salió en un segundo y lo llevé al mostrador. Lo abrimos y el olor nos golpeó primero y mi compañero arrugó la nariz. Pero pensé que no lo intentaremos. He trabajado en restaurantes un par de veces. Puedo reconocer el aceite usado hasta el punto de acercarme rancio. Todavía les doy una oportunidad. Esperaba que estuviera especiado cuando miré la comida. Pero yo estaba equivocado. La comida era horrible. Ordered a barbecue chicken ball, chips, and fried rice box, and my order was completely wrong. It came with a sweet and sour sour sauce despite a 'b' on the box, which I guess is for barbecue...

Unfortunately just had possibly my worse customer experience to date. Ordered food through Just Eat. Had the food delivered, when plated up the temperature of the food was hardly warm. I rang Top China to politely explain, there soulotuion was to try send a driver to try the food and check the temperature... A processes which would only work against them as the food would be even colder. Anyhow I drove the uneaten food to them myself, then politely again explained the problem. The lady all but counted each chip and chicken ball, to ensure nothing was eaten. Then shouted at me because it cost the driver £4 now. I left at this point as clearly the half a brain cell that was operating, was just never going to understand that you cannot sell cold food. I'm my opinion if you cannot understand this basic logic, I most definitely do not trust your food. Think twice before using.

We regularly order take away from here. The quality of food is good, well cooked, average price, good portion sizes. Sometimes the wait is a little long but it is cooked to order so no problem.

Only eat here if you intend to pray after you eat. Cold, soggy and vinegary rubbish. Only upside is a free bottle of coke to wash the bad taste away. Wish I read the reviews on google before ordering. The reviews on justeat must be done by the hungriest people on Earth or they have no tastebuds....

Have used this business for monthly treat for some time. The portions are substantial and the large pancakes rolls are very filling. I have sometimes had enough left after a evening meal to be lunch.

Took 90mins to arrive, containers were split and food leaking out, also cold.

60min time stated, food took 100+minutes to arrive, conainers were cold and all the corners had been cut off so they lost heat quicker, i loterally jave no idea why they Would do this.

Food was late, tasted bad and probably undercooked as I got food poisoning after. Would not recommend.

Recommended this place.by friend who had a good meal last week. We ordered and ours was AWFUL. Tasteless soup, slimy chicken in plum sauce Friend came over and agreed it was nothing like the one they had. Rang and told them we dished some up and tried eating it but it was inedible. We asked for a refund or for their delivery man to come and take it back They refused to do anything as we had "eaten some" How else were we to know how bad it tasted unless we tried it.We will never use it again or recommend it to anyone else.Most of it is still in its containers. I may return it personally tomorrow while they are busy. Bad food and bad service does not deserve respect.

Spent £50.00 this week on a variety of meals for the family treat and 4 were completely inedible. What was supposed to be chicken was absolutely disgusting, squishy and had the texture of a blob if fat. We were very disappointed.

I've just had another high quality meal from Top China. I ordered it on line and the food turned up within 30 mins. (They only charge £1 for delivery with a minimum order of just £10)

I order regularly from here, always consistently good quality, service and delivery. I particularly like the Malaysian dishes, food always arrives piping hot, highly recommend.

The Top China takeaway is ! There is a big selection of meals and the staff are very friendly. When I go with my daughter, they tend to throw in a fizzy drink and give her a lollipop ! I definitely recommend going there to get a Chinese because it is so delicious !

Me quedé agradablemente sorprendido con la calidad de la comida, y la cantidad presentada. comparado con otros para llevar chino que he probado. Llegó a los 20 minutos, gastos de envío era el más bajo de todas las opciones y los pedidos mínimos eran los más bajos también.
