New Jade Garden in Plymouth

Food is ten out of ten but the delivery times are bad. Shame the bad delivery let's down what is otherwise a great meal.

Good food, but absolutely appalling service on delivery. First time they couldn’t find the address, but didn’t call, so good was very late. The tofu was extremely spongy, and tasteless, unlike other takeaways we have ordered from. Second time they delivered chicken to a pescatarian, and they became argumentative on the phone, saying we had ordered chicken and not prawn, but clearly on the online confirmation, it said prawn. Took another half an hour for correct food to be delivered, which ruined a social evening. The third time, we called after an hour and a half as we hadn’t received our order. They said it had been delivered (to a different address). They once again became argumentative. Went to the address they said they had delivered to, but camera footage showed no delivery. They eventually delivered our food after 2 hours, which is unacceptable for a diabetic who had given insulin in preparation for a meal being delivered within an hour as stated on the order confirmation. Will not itder from them again.

The best Chinese food I have tasted! The chips I have tried have always been the same but these taste amazing aswell as my meal as a whole! The driver was friendly and funny after having a tiny chat. I would always recommend and come back! 😁

Food good, delivery time could be improved. But better than most restaurants in my area. 👏

After a disappointing very late and cold last order (first time ever) was glad to say it was delicious and hot as it had always been prior to last one .

chicken with water chestnuts & bamboo shoot seemed a little low on salt, and the wraps for the aromatic crispy duck felt a little dry but I loved the portions and the chicken balls tasted great! First time I had enough wraps to finish all the duck 😋

Absolute awful food , just drove here from Whitleigh ordered crispy chilli chicken but the chicken not even edible ! Food discusting and chewy is and understatment . What a waste off £40.00 pointless trying too get money back as going off recent reviews that’s not an option !!

first time using New Jade Garden and we were really impressed... The food was hot and absolutely delicious and the delivery driver was bang on time! we will certainly order from them again... Beef Curry, Egg fried rice, Dry Chiken Chow Mein, Chips, Noodles and Prawn toast.

Decent food but waited over 2 hours for the order. Called the restaurant and staff were quite rude, blamed timing on my geographical location.

My sweet and sour chicken balls was perfect, egg fried rice was lovely. I ordered pineapple fritter aswell that was very good. Will order from there again.

placed order at 7.03pm received order at 9.58pm. this was a shocking amount of time. but food was hot and good when it finally arrived

This is the most delicious Chinese ever. The food quality and portion sizes are really good! We order on a regular basis and sometimes there are delays with the waiting times, but it’s the same everywhere you go. Definitely worth the wait!!!

Great crispy duck, extremely late delivery and impossible to reach on the phone.

Ordered at 18.57 turned up at 22.02 phoned up 2 hours after ordering told wasnt cooked yet be another half hour...yes its valentines day the expectations of it being busy is obvious but why take on more than u can handle.

They need to sort out delivery times as had to ring after an hour to find outvwhere food was & told sorry we are busy?? Will be another 20 minutes! well it took longer than that Either stop taking orders because of wait time or get more drivers. Rice dishes were cold & boiled rice was a big craggy lump? Not good at all

the order time was incredibly long and the delivery was half an hour late. however, in balance the food was very, very good and arrived hot. I will assume that they were very busy. But the food was delicious and I can't fault that

The quality of the dry chow mein was fantastic and the Satay sauce was spot on! Definitely ordering from the Jade Garden again.

I adore this place ! The food is always consistently good and Iv tried a million other places all over the country but by far The BEST chicken noodle soup in the world is served here !! Thank you for feeding us so well everytime !! Xx

we put the order in 1.5 hours eraly and as always its late ,, the food is very very good

I ordered at 7.13pm food did not arrive until 9 20 pm. The app said delivered at 9pm so I called restaurant and I waited in the cold on my doorstep for 20 mins as had no tracker to follow. The chips were refries with very little potato in them and the special fried rice had no bbq sauce. Overall very disappointed with service and food as I've been eating from you for years and never had to complain £18 down the drain.

The food is delicious however the delivery is horrendous. A few times now it's been well over the hour expected time which is normally 45mins anyway. They mark as delivered early even though it has not. They do not reply to the message service and turn the phone link off so have to google the number. When you call they just say we are busy.

Took nearly 3 hours arrive, I rang to chase up after 2 hours and took another 50 mins after that to arrive. Which meant it was too late for my children to eat it . Having worked in a food place myself I suggest turning off your delivery platform when you can’t keep up with orders & switch it back on when your ready to take more orders as this is unacceptable & avoidable. This is the kind of thing that will put people off ordering from here again. Food was ok curry had no flavour

I go there often and the 2 people who work there are always so nice :) the food is always hot and fresh. Not long wait time either would definitely recommend to visit :))))

Terrible service. Order for delivery for 6pm check on the delivery at 6.30pm as it still hadn’t arrived to be told they’d forgotten the order and we were given no time for when we could expect the delivery to arrive. Called again over an hour later 7.30pm. Food finally arrived at 8pm 2hours late. With no apology or discount offered Very disappointing!!!!

Very horrible experience as the restaurant is not answering and so is just eat. No proper way of contacting anyone to get a refund or anything. Very unhappy with the experience.
