Kenny Kuet in Plymouth

Have been eating Chinese food from here for well over 30 years and never ever been let down , always look forward to it

Generally solid... but the prawns I got for dinner one night violently ejected themselves from my stomach at 1am

There's always friendly service and the food is excellent here.

Update: special Chow Mein wasn’t that special at least the offer of free prawn crackers is a good one only have to spend £28. It’s good for me! I tend to have the same thing whenever we call Kenny and it’s always good food and quickly delivered.

I telephoned and asked for an estimated time of arrival so I could choose pick up or delivery the poor girl on the phone asked the people in the kitchen to which I heard someone say ' Well Idon't know '. Then I asked if I could pay by card I was told cash only . So as I had no cash in the house I said I just as well collect as I was going out to to get cash . To which the person in the background snapped ' Well what time are they coming '. I really wanted to cancel by this time but my husband said he was starving so I reluctantly gave in and said we would be there in 20 minutes . I really wish I had cancelled , it was bland no taste what so ever and definitely not what I was used to . If this is the service Kenny Kuet provide then I have no plans to go back .

Special Chow Mein...I was really looking forward to it..OMG!! What has happened to your taste !! Very watery and no real taste...and burnt toast to boot...not a happy camper...won't be going back too soon.

The food was luke warm and tasteless. I ordered special fried rice and by the time I got home (2 minutes walk) the food was tepid throughout. It was also very, very bland. Kenny Kuets used to be so much higher quality than they are now.

Three times now this year they have let us down home delivery times an hour and a half to two hours even though my order was placed as soon as they opened I was placed well own the que in fact 33rd I went and collected after 1 hour 50 mins. The food was putrid no flavour or taste the chicken balls the batter was soggy and portions tiny. The curry was rubbish. So to sum up three times this year poor service matched the food .I won't give them any more chances,so have now gone else where for better service and cheeper food.

He ordenado desde aquí desde que me mudé al área hace 3 años. Son increíbles, la comida siempre está caliente, porciones deliciosas y, si se comete un error (muy raro), siempre quieren ayudar y corregir el problema. Los chinos favoritos de todos los tiempos, ¡nunca vayas a ningún otro lado!

Best Chinese best sweet and sour sauce and iv tried loads can't be beaten highly recommended the only thing that let's them down is there chips very dry

Have been ordering here for years and the food is pretty good. However recently it’s been quite bland, no seasoning at all. They also took nearly an hour to deliver a basic meal. The delivery person was extremely rude when asked why it took so long. Now East Eat is in Barne Road I doubt we will order again.

The worst kung po chicken possibly I've ever tried in the UK, crispy chilli beef also very very poor

I live quite far away but still wouldn't go anywhere else the food is fantastic and the staff are all amazing!!! Would rate higher if I could :-)

No matter how many times I try to find a new Chinese, I always end up back at Kuets.. I love their food! The chips are by far the best around as are the chicken balls. The curry always tastes amazing and the egg fried rice is definitely best I've had. Will always be loyal to Kuets.

We have tried other Chinese takeaways but always end up returning to Kenny Kuets. The food is always lovely, staff are friendly and the establishment is always clean (unlike some nearby where you slip on the greasy floor as you walk in). I can highly recommend this take away!

Like most chinese takeaways, kenny kuet is what it says on the tin. It's easy food. Almost zero wait and you get what you pay for! It's full of colourants, preservatives and MSG. Like all similar establishments you find yourself hungry again quickly after eating and feel the full effects of the stodge the next day! But also like most chinese takeaways, it convenient and tastes ok.

We've often had takeaway from Kenny Kuets. And often had the same dishes. So thought I'd try their beef chow mein. Honestly the blandest food ever. Do the never taste anything. The beef was of a texture which defies description and the gravy was watery. Yuk.

Outstanding food need to have the ribs and BBQ sauce it is to die for also you really need to have chips and spring rolls with every order no matter if you have a bad experience with them in the past they are the most outstanding things ever I highly recommend this I give it 5 big stars Mabey even 7.9 ❤️❤️❤️🦄🦄🦄🦄🌸🌸🌸

Miserable staff serve you and expect you to know their rather unusual and not obvious ordering methods, different sides of the same counter order either chinese or english food... very confusing. there is always a wait even if theres no obvious queue and the food is not worth the wait it is edible...just

I spent twenty five pounds on takeaway I can honestly say that it was one of the worst I've ever had, half the two portions of chips we had to throw away as they were dry and the mixed meat curry didn't taste like a curry and there was hardly any meat in it. Phoned up to complain owners attitude shocking and was told to go and write a bad review so here it is. If you have any common sense avoid this place there are far better Chinese takeaways out there.

Great food , and have been eating food from here for well over 25years

My family have been visiting this family run take-away for over 30 years. We wouldnt go anywhere else. The food is lovely, especially the 'salt and pepper' dishes :)

Recently went to kenny kuet the food is up to high standards there chicken balls are lovely the food is really hot when given to you and it stays really hot till you get home really would go back there again :)

Feels like a small family set up with few changes over years but despite offering a routine selection the food is well cooked and tasty. Poor parking options near a shop on a block in the middle of a large built up contorted traffic island.

Use this place quite regularly as it's local to me. I've used a lot of Chinese takeaways and to be fair this place delivers everytime!. Sweet and sour is delicious, salt and pepper prawns are amazing, foo yung Devine. All served with free prawn crackers and a fortune cookie! Keep it up :0)

Love this place, food is fantastic and really friendly people working there, highly recommended, it's only got better over the last 15 year's I've been going there.
