Never a bad meal. Aways tasty. Yes there are cheaper Chinese takeaways but you pay for what you get. Been going here for 20 years. Have tried others but keep going back to here.

Fantastic Chinese. The best in Plymouth by a long shot. Never late, always fresh, and cooked to order.

Food is always tastie and satisfying, the staff are friendly too.

We ordered here for the first time, it was lovely and hot on arrival (delivery) the crispy duck was tasty and succulent, the beef in mushroom and chicken with beans sprouts were great size portions and tasty,the fried rice was yummy. Chicken balls are huge and tasty and the prawn crackers are lovely. We will definitely order it again.

Fantastic! Best take away I've had in years. We are farley new to the area. Thought we would try a good variety of dishes to see what this place was like. Every dish was spot on! Beautifully cooked, lovely sources, great flavours. Easy telephone ordering and quick delivery time. Food arrived lovely and hot by a very well-mannered delivery driver. I highly recommend China Valley and will definitely be ordering from them again in the future.

There are many a Chinese, and all are good in one wat or another , I say that as I always go back a second time to see it they are what I call , consistent in the way that they cook and present there food [ I always have the same thing I had the first time , so that I can compare] I have to say that China valley is really delicious and has been cook the very same as the very time I had it , hot , tasty , fresh and you get plenty of it , it's always very busy , the only thing is that they don't deliver but in saying that it's well worth the drive , highly recommend Chaina Valley 👌

Told within 1 hour still no food 1 and a half hours later

We always order from here. It was a little later than normal but the food was excellent so we were not disappointed. We would definitely recommend China Valley always.

Just moved back to the area chicken chow Meon. Special rice, pancake rolls has to be the best Chinese I've had for years. Fab

I am a vegetarian with no egg included person and I ordered a veg tried rice. You can imagine what I received they put an egg in the FR. While enjoying my food What a pathetic experience I have one could imagine, I am so off atm cant express guys b4 ordering do check with these fraud guys sending non veg mix in there veg menu😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡 Editted -I tried contacting the same day as you can see the post but when I realised your store was already closed.

Really poor service and massive waiting time, was told it would take one hour for delivery but in fact it took two hours, when it got here we was missing food, when we phoned them up they argued the fact we didn't order it when we actually did!!! Won't be going there again.

Shocking! Had been waiting for over 2 hours just for my Delivery still NOT to be here. Never usually like this but didn’t get any notifications today or any news on a wait. Not happy with this n should be improved with proper apologies.

I ws quite reguler orderer from this place but will not use anymore . The food is ok but the drivers are adding money to the bill on the delivery a few times now i have been caught by it and i dont like being ripped off . If i get told its £15 on the phone thats what i expect to pay not £16 . Its bad enough prices are going up with the cost of living without the drivers adding extra ££££.s to it so i will be going elsewhere

Worst times ever! I have never had to wait this long before. 2 hours! I waited and it isnt the first time either, one of my other family members recently ordered from here (only found out that AFTER I put my order in) and had to wait almost 3 hours. And they have over an hour to make the food, we also live super close but my grandmother is elderly and I cant leave her with my son for long periods of time. Absolutely ridiculous wont be ordering again

I have ordered for delivery and expected to wait. I am impressed with the food quality. I heard no ding.. ding of a microwave. I get confused of the closing times.. New times should be put up and changed on the menus. Otherwise a happy customer.

Normally order from here and food is lovely however almost 3hour wait when kids are hungry. Not good enough at all! Rang up and not much help just that it’s cooking and will be with me shortly! Sort it out!

No free prawn crackers and we spent over £30. Had to wait 2 hours for it and when it came it wasn't very warm..

Ordered a couple of lockdown meals now, one through own site and one via just eat and although a longish wait time, it was clearly stated upon ordering. Both time, food arrived well within the timescales given and in piping hot condition too. Definitely reccomend.

States up to 120mins on website for delivery. Still no food after this time, when phoned them, states would be another hour! For a shop that’s five minutes away, and finishing a 12 hr shift working for ambulance service, was really looking forward to this! Absolutely disgusted, when asked for refund, sorry can do that, have to ring a number, this number was some random company, and the number on website only open mon to fri 9-5pm. They are quick to take money out of account, but to get it back, impossible!

Ordered this from just eat as a final treat before the January diet begins. It was the worst waste of calories I've ever had. The crispy chilli beef was so crispy it was almost cremated, with no taste or texture. The chicken chow mein was bland and the chicken was rubbery. Chips were under cooked and after spending £30 I was disappointed there were no complimentary prawn crackers. Would not recommend, terribly disappointing.

Food 30 minutes late and Luke warm at best. Sauces has nice flavour but meat was tough and chewy. Chips were overcooked and dry and rice was sticky and clumped together with little taste. This was first time ordering from here and won't be going back.

Food was nearly an hour late. No notice of this until I contacted them. Food was not hot enough.

I called the restaurant as my order was 45 mins late, as I started asking the question I got talked over asking what my address was. They then said it's out so it shouldn't be long. No apology or explanation as to why it was late. Feedback to the restaurant - listen to your customer, there is nothing more frustrating than being talked over mid conversation. And sorry goes a long way. No apology is just appalling service. Food was nice bar the satay sauce which was runny and lacked flavour.

My food was wonderful and speedy time

Made an order at 6.40pm and received an email to collect at 7pm. Went in to collect and they had no idea where my order was, eventually found my order on the system but hadn’t even started cooking it. Was sat in the Chinese for another 40 minutes waiting.

Waiting time is quite long but still delivered on time. Food was delicious! Definitely will order again.

Food was stale, not impressed at all. Egg fried rice was unseasoned and tasted like boiled rice with scrambled egg mixed in. Prawns in the sweet and sour tasted old/reheated. and my husband gave up and went to collect it as it was going to take an hour and half and only ordered at 6ish. Gutted was really looking forward to that

We have ordered from this chinese before but always collected. However, as the weather was a bit bad we decided we would get it delivered. On the app the delivery time said 19:20, we ordered at 18:10, so thought maybe this was a time given just incase it was late. The time then changed to 19:30 about 15 minutes after ordering. We waited. At 19:40 we called to say we still didn’t have our order and were assured it was the next order, it wasn’t here for another 15 minutes, bare in mind we live 5 minutes down the road in a car. Fair to say that if we order from them again it’ll be collected NOT delivered as waiting an hour and 45 minutes for an order on a Thursday night was not expected.

Always love this takeaway but tonight had friends over so ordered a large delivery only problem was the lid on the curry wasn’t on properly and half of the curry in the bottom of the box and the tubs of sweet and sour sauce had tipped onto their sides and leaked as well really disappointed as praised the place up to our friends before we ordered

Food was on time, plentiful, hot BUT the lemon chicken was inedible - overcooked, dry, hard. Most was thrown away. I expected the good to be freshly cooked to order as we waited a fair while for it.

Chicken balls were really over done. No free prawn crackers with our meal. Which I expect when you pay over a certain amount for your food. All around really below average. Will not order from this restaurant again.

My regular Chinese for 6 years.. I loved this place ordered regularly. Today the food was vile.. inedible! Complained and restaurant refused to do anything... refused to collect food.. refused refund!

After placing order waiting time 1 hour and 20 min, but still after that time food was delivered 30 later. We waited 2 hours to get food

Ordered tonight and not only was thd food so greasy and the chicken hard but I found some string in my meal. I wish I had found it earlier on in my food because It’s made me be sick. On closer inspection it can’t be pulled apart easily. It’s enough to question what else is in the food and what else I may have eaten. It’s certainly not organic. It certainly should have not been in chicken...

Duck was very dry but other then that the food was lovely

Food quality was very disappointing as paid alot and food was not fresh at all. Wont be using again anytime soon.
