The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Ordered mixed sweet and sour with egg fried rice. Sweet and sour very overcooked and greasy, the egg fried rice had been substituted for fried rice, so not what we irdered.. Would not repeat this experience ever.It used to e so good so what has happened.

Absolute perfection. If you want authentic Japanese food, this is the only place to go.

My order was an hour and a half late. I called when the order was 30 minutes late, the one who answered lied to me and said that the order is with the driver and he is near me then 1 hr later no one arrived. I called to cancel my order to find that the order was not even made yet.

Food was shocking tbf it had no taste whatsoever deffo not ordering again

Bueno, el servicio absolutamente asqueroso pasó por uber eats no pudieron reembolsar el dinero y la tienda no fue absolutamente ninguna ayuda en absoluto EVITAR ESTA TIENDA. No recomendaría en absoluto, además la mujer que habló fue muy grosera y desagradable 0 calificaciones de 10!

The food was so bland! The prawn balls were tiny and so overcooked. The rice was literally bland unseasoned food over boiled rice. So overpriced. Was offered a discount on next order but can safely say I would never go back! And then went into get it as the staff were to busy talking to their friends. And the “prawns” clearly hadn’t been prepped and cleaned as still had the black strip along the back. Basically it’s dump. Just vile. Save your money and get some instant noodles! £16.10 for two dishes that I didn’t want and has put me off Chinese for a while for sure. Shame as this use to be a nice place back in the day and my go to.

Lucinda Li was so lovely she made sure we were really well taken care of as well as Varun they were kind and courteous and gave us 5 star worthy service. Definitely a credit to the team and very kind hearted people! Will be back again to see them soon!

Another loyal customer of 15 year + and when I lived in Wales used to take alot of orders to take back after visiting family,now some of the family have moved,so now we order before we set off the day before and take their order over to Lancashire.

Placed an order on Uber Eats. After an hour and a half’s wait with no delivery, we were told it would be another half hour. Nothing arrived. Tried to phone back and they had taken the phone off the hook! After continuously trying, the phone started ringing, they answered and then put the phone down on me without even speaking. Food never arrived. Will NEVER use these again!

Excellent quality, fresh ingredients. Cannot complain. The takeaway restaurant is not a nightclub is it, so Atmosphere is not relevant.

I was the last order and had wonderful conversation while I waited for my food. The food was wonderful.

Food arrived piping hot and all tasted great especially the sweet and sour sauce

We have been going to Chung Lok for over 10 years, it's the only place we'll go for a Chinese. The food is delicious, portions are perfect and the service is friendly.
