Oriental Chinese in Blackpool

Always delicious food and still hot on arrival. Chef always prepares our dishes to our different allergy and preference requirements. We always use Oriental.

Chips dry and clearly not fresh, I love spicy food but the oriental curry was ridiculous, mate said udon was alright

Arrived on time, hot, packaged well, good quantity and quality of food

Oriental Chinese always produces excellent quality, super tasty food; they accommodate my family members different dietary needs without complaint & food is still delicious. They are always our 1st choice.

I order from here often. But I was very disappointed with my order last night. The wait time was long anyway, and then it jumped up after ordering and then when it didn’t arrive in the time bracket I questioned it and they added another 25 minutes on. Part of the order was cooler than the rest, the delivery driver was not apologetic for the delay. Disappointed as a regular customer.

Delivery was great and the driver was really friendly and polite. The food was good and I enjoyed it. The portion was good and it was hot. I will order again.

Not sure if it’s because ordered later than usual but it was really bland sadly. The egg fried rice had no taste and the salt and chilli chicken pieces just tasted like bland plain fried chicken. No where near as good as the one i ordered before Christmas

Incredibly slow. You would have thought it was a hectic Friday night with the time it took, not a random Wednesday evening. Food was incredibly average when it finally arrived. Very disappointing indeed.

I ordered Singapore vermicelli and was very disappointed it completely lack any flavour, there was no spice to it whatsoever not even a hint of salt. the salt and chilli chicken was lovely

Pros : arrived piping hot and early. Negatives: possibly the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Verging on inedible. Serves me right for being lazy and not going to draw cash out for our usual place.

No problem with early delivery, we were starving!

Unfortunately tonight’s usual meal which cost a lot of money was not up to the usual standard. The chicken was a soggy and sloppy mess and I must admit it appeared somewhat suss. My family agreed with this and we could not eat the meal due to its poor taste and the look of the chicken looked like it was not cooked properly, therefore I will not order again and will now go somewhere else . What a shame to be let down like this after so long but clearly standards on this occasion had been extremely poor .

Came here for a takeaway as our usual chinese up the road has closed. We were absolutely gutted however thought we'd give this one a go. We ordered online and it was ready when it said it would be. There is a huge choice on the menu and the prices are reasonable. The food was good so we'll use this takeaway next time we're in Blackpool.

Wow!! This has got to now be my favourite Chinese takeaway from now on. The meal was FANTASTIC. I’d gone off Chinese food but I can’t wait to order again. The prawn toast is the best I’ve EVER had and I mean it and I’m 50 so had a lot of Chinese from Glasgow and fylde. I honestly can’t fault it! The crispy noodles were separate so they stayed crispy!! The Oriental is my go-to Chinese takeaway. The food is consistently good, delicious and fresh. The salt and chilli king prawns are my personal favourite and the perfect hangover cure. 😋

Food delivery taking far too long but tonight it was over 2 hours so had to cancel ! No apology from staff when we rang twice to see where our order is ! Don’t order unless you’re willing to wait a long time for delivery!

Really would not recommend this restaurant. One of the worst Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had. Nothing tasted fresh. Soup had a paste like consistency and not nice at all, chicken didn’t taste like chicken, noodles were oily and the food was just overall really disappointing. The restaurant also gave a bottle of alcohol with the order which was not ordered or stated this was a free gift on the foodhub website. This could have been very detrimental in the wrong hands. The restaurant didn’t seem to care about the comments I tried to bring forward to them. Please do not waste your money here.

The lady on the telephone was extremely helpful when I called to ask about Vegan food and ingrediants used. The meals, Vegan, were delicious and cooked perfectly. Highly reccommended. Thank you to the chef and customer service. Also great service from delivery driver who was friendly and polite.

Always very good food from Oriental, that I have no complaints about. But I get stung every time with there delivery. It must be by far the slowest & it’s each & every time I order from here.

Your soup was not up to its normal spicy tom yum standard. The crispy duck was not a delivered as a 1/2 portion as ordered and sadly was not crispy nor shredded but delivered in soggy large chunks. We are very very disappointed and will not use you again.

Saturday night and they were busy, not bothered about 15 mins late when the food is always amazing! Staff are lovely, wouldn't use any other Chinese...

So sad about this as we love this take away, I understand Saturday is busy but if the wait time is going to be 2 and a half hours I don’t think they should take the order or at least warn us! Driver didn’t even apologise. Such a shame as the food is great. I rated service one star as no warning and no apology.
