Ordered food it was very tasteless and greesy rice wasent cooked properly driver give us no change so had to ring up as they tool nearly a tenner extra then when driver come back spoke to my daughter like crap another customer lost

Got the chicken chow mein and it was the most boring, blandest and very little meat Chinese takeaway I have ever eaten, I use to go to this Chinese 8 years ago when lived in the area but moved away so was in the area and looking forward to it hugely disappointed

We ordered as takeaway and food was delicious. We called and ordered on a Sunday night about 7 pm. Would recommend when calling to order to say numbers as well a dishes which are on the menu. We collected as was very close to location staying. The food only took about 30 mins to cook and collect. The food was delicious and one of the best Chinese I have ever had. We ordered salt and pepper chicken ( which was slightly overcooked but still very nice), prawn toast (which was the best I have ever had), sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken chow mein and chicken and murshroom. All the food was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. Would 100% recommend as the food was lovely and service was quick. Thank you

This is our regular and we order once a week. Lovely tasty food. Great customer service. My husband can be picky, and they are fine with the changes he makes to the ingredients. Highly recommend their salt and pepper chicken pieces and their mushrooms. Their curry sauce has a nice kick to it but doesn't taste overpowering.

Just paid £13.10 for my food order I asked for Singapore rice ...145 the women on the counter gave me noodles gutted I hate noodles just looked back at the menu she's given me 146 number meal .. unbelievable I paid for my tea and she gets it wrong am home now with noodles I didn't ask for really annoyed... This was a treat to cheer myself up

Without a shadow of a doubt THE worse Chinese I have ever had in Blackpool. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Opted for the 'Munch box' which is a pizza box with salt and pepper ribs, chicken wings, and chips all thrown in loosely together, egg fried rice and noodles in cartons and curry sauce in a small tub. The chicken was like nuggets with salt and pepper seasoning sprinkled on top. Nothing like proper S an P chicken. Chips overcooked noodles slimes. Rang to complain and lady started giggling. Do yourself a favour if you are reading this. Try any other Chinese. I don't normally leave reviews.

If I could give 0 starts I would but since you have to give at least 1 star I will give that to the delivery driver who was actually the only thing this place got right! When ordering the lady on the phone hung up before we had finished giving our order (quite rude but put it down to maybe she was busy) when the food arrived the driver was really polite but when we opened the food it looked disgusting 🫣 It was dry and over cooked. The rice tasted like it had been cooked hours earlier, the salt and pepper chicken was just frozen chicken nuggets with no spice at all (I've had better from McDonald's!) The spring rolls tasted like they had just been warmed up in a microwave as they were soggy (no crunch) I didn't try the rest of the food and I'm surprised the bin didn't spit it back out it was that bad! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY there are plenty of really nice chinese places round Blackpool but this isn't 1.

You can't go wrong with a gravy chip or something I thought. Gravy tasted like bisto chips looked and tasted like they where reheated every night of the week for a week

Wow!!! What a hole!!!! That was a bad mistake on my part, just terrible, salt and pepper wings missing the salt and pepper! Food bland, they use frozen chips!!!!!! the list goes on! Never again!!!

great selection menu, good portions and quality ingredients. our new favourite place to use. they were very happy to cater to our food preference by taking certain ingredients out of a dish. gives great fee extras when you spend a certain amount. we have always had fast delivery.

Lovely little Chinese takeaway place. Tons of choices on the menu. Love the salt & pepper spare ribs and Singapore vermicelli. The lady at the counter is always friendly. Never have to wait long for the food.

Swearing at them, shouting at them and offending them also ! Did you just pick a random man off the street to do deliveries ? If so this man really puts on a bad impression of the takeaway that I imagine is a great one. But unfortunately this was a huge let down and really shook my friend up. Also got to love ring doorbells with the camera for proof 👌

Been using Lytham House Kitchen for long time.. our orders are always perfect even with changes that we making with them.... Lady behind counter always remember little thinks that we add to our order.. food is tasty and always hot can't fault them at all. Never had problem with food or staff. Always polite. Thank you Lytham House Kitchen for feeding me for good 4 years. Here is many more to come.

The food was okay, nothing special here it was tasty but nothing other than average. The customer service was not good, it was bad, very bad. I would rate the customer facing interaction as a 1 out of 5. The service was lacklustre. It was harsh, unfriendly and would definitely deter me from visiting this eatery again.

We were recommended here by a friend who said the food was great, so we ordered, the food came late, but eventually arrived after a phone call to the restaurant. The delivery driver was surly but at this point just happy to get the food. After he drove off we discovered he had delivered the wrong order to us. So we called again, after another 15 minutes the driver arrived back with our order. He told me I owed an extra £10.40 for the order, to which I replied that I thought I shouldnt have to pay that because it was his mistake and we had been waiting ages. He told me I couldn’t have it until I paid the extra. So I told him it better still be hot, he thrust the box at me and said “check it yourself “, so I went to take the box inside and he grabbed me and said you can’t take it anywhere until you have given me the extra money. HE ACTUALLY GRABBED ME ! So i pushed him off and said right I’m calling your boss to which he replied “F@ck it , here’s your money back “ i asked what he was doing and he said I’m taking it back. By this time we had been waiting an hour and a half and were starving, I told him he wasn’t going anywhere with our food,I stood in his way and he once again laid hands on me and pushed me out of the way, at which point I pushed back . My son appeared at the door at this point and calmed everything down, I was absolutely livid I have never been treated by a delivery driver in that manner. Not once did he apologise, he was aggressive and ignorant throughout the whole encounter. I will never use that restaurant again, until that delivery driver has been held accountable for his actions. When I contacted the restaurant they were very blasé about the whole situation and didn’t seem to be bothered. We ended up ordering from dominos, which arrived without fuss or threat of physical violence.

Charged me 19.90 for a £13 order ??? Char sui chow main was just noodles no veg no sauce noodles with a bit of diced pork.. Egg fried rice no taste or flavour BBQ ribs the same .. won't be ordering again its a rip off food diabolical won't be recommending this takeaway.

Just came back back off holiday and my grandmother ordered a Chinese waited an hour and as normal she rang up to get told it would be another hour wait soon after than we cancelled the order. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Lady behind screened counter seemed to have mind elsewhere? Clearly not on our order! Only good part of order was 12 mini vegetable spring rolls for £2.80. Then downhill. Prawn crackers often free, but not here £1.50. After those items it was downhill. In bad dosser area, eve though near Travelodge. Salt and pepper spare ribs battered and when one ate them, out of the six four were nearly acceptable as they had bone in them! The other two were uneatable due to large content of gristle MASKED by batter. The chicken and noodle soup would have been a disgrace in China Town anywhere, eg Manchester. It has noodles and bits of chicken but the rest was basically chicken stock; made from a cube???? A few simple dishes one would have thought but totally almost inedible.

It was an interesting experience having Chinese in Blackpool. All the shops seem to be shut on a Tuesday which was rather strange, its like Tuesday is a Sunday here so regretfully I had limited options. Regardless, the Salt and Pepper Chicken here is not authentic but still nice as they have used chip shop batter instead of the usual batter, which indeed made it really crispy and tasty. Its on the tad too salty side so I can’t give it top marks but it was certainly tasty. Their BBQ pork fried rice on the other hand… was one of the most underwhelming, tasteless ones I’ve ever had! Its like there was zero spice, no soy sauce only dark soy sauce to make the colour, egg was tasteless, as if they reduced the concentration of the yolk mixed in during preparation, pork was only coloured red and not marinated. Appalling performance for a traditional Chinese dish! Their Salt and Pepper chicken was the only reason this place didn’t receive a one star! I’d only advise coming here if you want to try a unique chip shop battered salt and pepper chicken which is unheard of in London and Hong Kong!

Ordered a take out from here. Good value for money and fast delivery. Had the set meal for one and it was enough for two.

The beef fried rice is previously cooked beef bits added to previously cooked egg fried rice. The chips are old. The noodles are old. The worst is saved until last: the roast chicken was previously cooked and fried to heat up and was a mixture of very overcooked char and dry chewy meat: absolutely disgusting. We were all 3 hungry. We went to the local Premier to buy cake because the food from this Chinese was that bad.

Food has arrived much sooner than I was told. I thought BONUS! Their House Special Curry has apparently never had beef in it, but tinned chopped pork and it doesn't have prawns. So the Special curry I've received, that is boiled chicken, PEK and left over pork bits is the recipe. Rang to complain but was hung up on as soon as I criticised the food.

Not happy they forgot to put something on my order and tried to charge me delivery charge We are regular customers too

COMPLAINED TO THE SHOP AND BECAUSE IM IN WORK AND CANNOT RETURN THIER MOULDY FOOD THEY ARE WILLING TO WAIT 24HOURS FOR ME TO ABLE TO TAKE IT BACK TO BE ABLE TP REFUND ME AND THEN POLIETY TOLD ME TO ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE OR STAY HUNGRY.. FUMMING. DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR. Management I will see you tomorrow to return your food and take an refund.... Also if I was to make this in my job I would be on the jobcentre doorstep.

Portions are tiny. They have shrunk massively since we visited a year ago, but prices have increased! Woman taking orders in shop so rude. Needs customer service support. Seriously, look at portion sizes and if you agree they are tinier that any other Chinese takeaway leave a review to help others so they aren’t left hungry like we were! NEVER AGAIN!

Great food and friendly service from this takeaway; I've used it a few times every month ever since I moved here in 2002, originally because it was so close and convenient, and then because it's just so good! Generous portions, well wrapped to keep warm until you get home, and good quality food as well. Highly recommended!

Ordered tonight and the meat wasn’t edible at all. The ribs was all fat and the chicken was black in side and the chow mien has some pink slimy thing in it, which I think was uncooked chicken . I spent a lot of money and I’m very disappointed so I called them and all I got was a rude lady who didn’t really understand English. Then a aggressive man shouting in the back ground. When I said I wanted a refund they said come get it we’re not coming to you.

I only live minutes away from here, I have ordered from here for last 3 years and never had cause to complain. Order is quick, usually within 10 /15 minute wait. PLEASE REMEMBER TO WEAR A MASK & KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE if you walk in to order.

We stayed at the South Shore Travelodge and this was nearby. We ordered in there and waited but not for long it was very speedy. Food was absolutely delicious especially the prawn toasts and special chow mein. We really really enjoyed our meal.

Wheres the old owner? Everyone knew him as Tony and place was know as Tony's (was still lytham house kitchen) do they have another takeaway or? Just that takeaway used to be amazing and the curry sauce was beautiful but cant find the same kind anywhere it was like a reddish colour. Really gone downhill

had our first takeaway delivered on Saturday, after reading the menu in the window a few days earlier.We ordered the salt and Chilly Munchy Box and Prawn toast, which were delivered in about a half hour, piping hot, full to the brim and absolutely delicious.Cannot fault it at all.Would i recommend ? ......Definitely Yes

got a takeaway from here when staying at nearby travelodge. prices seemed ok but delivery slow. what turned up was completely inedible. sping rolls tasteless and greasy noodles like rubber bands and sweet and sour balls devoid of meat. all on all the worst takeaway we have ever had.

Waited over 45 minutes for 2 items when queried delay was told it was because noodles took ages to cook. When said not 40 minutes I don’t think, order arrived and after lame apology, said won’t charge me for plastic spoon!Food was tasteless and worst Chinese I’ve had in years, customer service shocking. Don’t go here if expecting fast food as definitely isn’t!!

i have never had a delivery from here so all i can go on is when i go for a take-away,the staff have always been pleasant and the food is cooked to order,it's the only Chinese i go to when i am in Blackpool every month.

Order from here regularly and have done for many years, literally the food come within in 10 minutes, which we got told was going to be half an hour so partner had to run to bank which was next door to where we live, where the drive was rude towards me and my partner. Then for us to plate up the food and for 75% of it to be stone cold, so rang for a refund or for our food to be re sent out, to where we got accused of being liars and being made to box the food back up, so getting the containers out of the bin to re box it. So they can check to see if we was lying or not and so they could take it back. Also the women on the phone was very rude, honesty worst customer service I have even heard.

Make sure you make it clear you want “CHICKEN BALLS” and not frozen “MEATBALLS” We ordered last night and made our order for a delivery and requested “sweet and sour chicken balls X2” along with other orders, we ended up with what I can only describe as Meat balls in batter they were awful ! Had to call up and tell them the problem, they did send out what we ordered but apparently I had ordered them before .... NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD THAT TAT ! Anyway our chicken balls arrived and I told the devivery driver they were like dog food, and ended up eating half an hour later than all our friends and had cold chicken fried rice. Never finished our meals as we felt awkward eating as everyone else finished and over £32.00 not even an an apology. Used to be our local but looking out to find a new one.

Nice clean, shop lovely lady behind the counter, food very nice too, they offer a delivery service, too, thats cash only, but if you nip to the takeaway you can pay by caed too

Regardless of other reviews I have been ordering from this place for just over 2 years and never had a problem or a fault with their food, If anything the duck dishes they do has to be the best in Blackpool.

Visiting Blackpool and found this nearby Chinese. I'd go as far to say that this Chinese is better than the one I use back home! The beef chow mein was amazing. The beef melted in the mouth and had a flame grilled taste to it. Would definitely recommend to anyone :)

First time buying from here. Delivered to Layton really quickly at around 11.30. Food was really good! Lady on the phone was lovely and the delivery driver was very polite and friendly also. Would definately recommend!
