Have brought from here for years but tonight they sent one of the items wrong phoned up and left message to please send correct item or telephone me. Half hour later and no response so called back to be informed that the error was apparently mine even though ordered the same item every time over the years and that was that,. The lady I spoke to was quite abrupt will definitely not be going back and neither will any of my family who also usually buy from here.

Average. Delivered on time, free prawn crackers which was nice however the new salt and pepper combination box which was just short of £10 itself was ridiculous. The smallest ribs I've ever seen the size of chicken wings, with less meat. The salt and pepper shredded beef, had no beef inside, none. Like eating a strange smoky bacon crisp. Oriental special curry, again average, to be fair decent portions of meat but just bland meat the prawns tasted just defrosted. Salt and Pepper chicken again ok..nothing special just meh won't be going again

Food was amazing huge portions. Felt like I was scamming them. Delivery driver was a legend. Fair play to the guy 10/10. Staying in Blackpool don't order from anyone else!

worst chinese I've had in my life. sent back the first time they replaced it but left out any actual meat in the meal. really disappointed

are you kidding? I order from he because of the rating but was let down big style, dirty cold overcooked brown rice. Egg fried rice is white, only poor places add to much soya sauce to hide how bad it is. ribs had no meat, prawn toast had no prawn and very greasy. everything was cold and bland, Definitely one of the worst in blackpool

Just ordered our food through just eat. We got sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice, chicken curry with egg fried rice, chips, Ribs, prawn toast, spring rolls and prawn Crackers. While serving it on to plates I found a cockroach leg floating in the sweet and sour sauce that I had just poured all over our food. This is the first and last time we will be ordering from here. All the food has had to go in the bin and we will have to claim our refund back from just eat. We have kept the cockroach leg and will be getting in touch with hygiene standards because that is disgusting. God knows what else is floating around in that food.

Rubbish, been useing this place for years, website says open but at 6pm can i get thru on phone nope, just answer machine saying there closed, time to look for a new chinese me thinks not got hold since before xmas now pffff, seriously gone down hill recently

Very gd quality n product the meals are great ribs 100% all the food from there are nice hot and quick to b delivered best place in town would recommend it to all family's n friends

I ordered from this Chinese takeaway on two consecutive nights. The counter girl was very friendly and the delivery driver said a simple but meaningful thank you. It does not cost to be nice or polite. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and the portion size is perfect. Love from Belfast,

One of the best in blackpool old fashioned chinease place with excellent food sharow grove bigging up this place 😋 excellent communication over the phone with friendly helpful staff. Staff even explained it will be over a hour as they only have one driver on. Cash only unless you order off just eat then you can pay card. They are usually alot earlier than this but I don't mind the wait after all whats best is worth waiting for.

after reading 5 bad reviews which all appeared at same time a month ago from people who had only left the 1 bad review l was suspicious. l did a scores on the doors check and found in April 2023 they were awarded 5 star hygiene the food was good and plentiful they use the deeper containers rice chips and fried rice are only 80p £1 or £1.50 when purchased at same time as main dish l can only give food 4 stars as the mixed meat dishes says contains duck...and there was no duck in either very old fashioned looking takeaway but sometimes those can be the best ones. l used to use one that was the same for 30 years but they are now retired l will return as its a very comprehensive menu

Brilliant food and good price only use this Chinese when we come to Blackpool

I saw the lady boss at this restaurant kept scolding her staff at the till. This kind of abusive behaviour is intolerable. I won’t go to this restaurant again

It is a filthy Chinese takeaway. After the change of management this year, the quality of the food is horrible. It has a nasty rotten taste from the chow mein and egg fried rice. The chips were oily and wet. Chicken balls were raw inside. Everything ended up in the garage bag. My family threw up after having the delivery. I would never spend my money at this Chinese Takeaway again, it’s a waste of money and it doesn’t worth it.

I had a terrible stomachache after having the curry chicken fried rice and chips. The hygienic condition of this restaurant is worrying. I will stayed away forever.

Away for a weekend to Blackpool and tried this little restaurant. A great choice as the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. A good location just outside the main centre, the girl who served us was very polite and helpful. Highly recommended I'll definitely be back

Not been here for a while, took a little while to get food as they had a lot of orders for delivery. Food very good and for once it was still hot when I got home

Service was great, friendly. Unfortunately the food was not. Ordered roast pork szechuan, chicken curry, salt pepper chips. 2x egg fried rice and prawn crackers. Came within 5 minutes of ordering which would seem perfect for fast service but the food had clearly been microwaved didn't taste fresh whatsoever. Unfortunately for me and my partner we won't be ordering from here again.

First time ordering from here. Was looking to try somewhere different as the quality of our usual had gone down in our rating. Saw lots of great reviews and it didn't disappoint. All food was tasty and well cooked, with big portions. Ordered online and waited around 50 minutes, but that's nothing when it's quality food.

Ive been a regular to this chinese for a good 15 years at least. The curry sauce used to be super duper. We hadnt used it for a while due to being disappointed last time we ordered for around £70s worth of food and it was awful. We thought we would give it another go and since being taken over its dreadful. Its safe to say we will never go back again now. Salty black bean dish with jelly chicken, tasteless rice, just a total waste of money. Last time I made a complaint it wasn't handled well, not even going to waste my breathe. Such a shame

Portion sizes are always really good compared to over takeaways plus the staff are nice and it's not in too bad of a location either witch is a nice bonus.

We have used this take away since the 1970's when the food was always delicious. Last year we had a couple of meals and we were really disappointed so we stopped using it. Today we thought we'd give it another try, now I don't know if it's changed hands or is under new managent but the food was delicious . It was tasty hot and generous portions. So much improved . In my opinion this is the best Chinese takeaway in Blackpool! Love the salt and pepper chips and the Singapore noodles! Always hot when it arrives and we never seem to have to wait too long

The Oriental Chop Suey Bar food is the best ever in Blackpool, love the Chicken Curry and Boiled Rice, also the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Boiled Rice and the Chicken in OK Sauce and Boiled Rice. 10/10....5 stars and VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. :)

Have been going here for over 20 years, has always been the best Chinese but recently seems to have changed hands and now it is very poor... gutted is an understatement

Great food good prices friendly staff highly recommend going here. Doesn't accept card payments its cash only not a bad thing only putting in here so you can make sure you go cash machine first.

We have always used this chinese for 23yrs food was beautiful, never had any complaints, since the new owners took over tried this chinese once and wouldn't ever order from here again, the beef in the curry was pink, we complained got another curry and the beef was still pink, curry sauce was nice but meat just let the food down

Not the best curry tasted like spaghetti bolognese ie like tomatoes ment to have peas and mushrooms and onion we I had onion 1 pea no mushrooms seaweed was stale dont think I will go here again give it a miss

Have used this takeaway since 70s .Now have new owners they need to take lessons from previous owners .Quality of meat poor curry had bitter taste .Wont be using again.

Food allways arrives hot cheerful staff good prices and cheap delivery .Lots of choice of food.

Decided to try this place as its quite local to me , food was really tasty had beef and tomatoes ,noodles and prawn crackers which myself and partner shared , good portion sizes .I would definitely eat from there again !

I decided last minute to have a take away for tea. It's a long time since I had one from the Oriental although we have used this take away since the 1970's. Now I'm at home alone since my son bought his own place I don't have take away food very often maybe only 2/3 times a year. I ordered a beef chop suey with fried rice and spring roll it was delicious. It's a really good price because each main meal includes a side of rice or chips, some take always charge extra.

Had food from here after reading reviews online, and I have to say....I'm impressed! The staff were fantastic and polite, I Had beef chow mein and chicken balls....the beef was spot on and the chicken balls weren't greasy at all, I'd highly recommend this place for food if your visiting Blackpool!! Will use again next time round.....thanks guys !!

me and my daughter opted for the Cantonese style sweet and sour with the salt n chilli chicken and the salt n chilli chips, it was amazing, the portions could do with being a bit bigger as it wasn't yo filling but the quality was the best I've had in a long time, highly recommend

Decent little Chinese takeaway. Like many others it seems to be hit and miss with the quality however overall I've had more good ones than average ones. I'd suggest collecting as when I've had it delivered, it's needed reheating everytime.

After all good reviews I decided to try this I got special fried rice and curry with salt and pepper chips, the rice was in sauce which I didn't know about but it was the chips that was rank came all bitty no onions or out in , undercooked I was so disappointed threw it away cost me 12pound for them 3 things never again

Disappointed with the salt and pepper chips were horrible just like normal chips no onions or out tasteless and didn't know special fried rice was in sauce don't think I'll use again sorry

Food good, service good. Just need to pay attention to a person's wants in their order. Plenty or lots of something means just that. customers shouldn't feel they have to order extra sauce for example when amount asked for could be added as asked without having to pay more money for it. Most restaurants/take aways comply, this one should too.

Conseguimos coger salida n cuando l abrieron l sabía enseguida que no eran para mí. una especie de salsa horrible (que no se pidió 4 !) abarcó la mitad de la comida! ! Me puso justo como salsa de odio de l en nada! !La carne era finas n wet!! Me rápidamente puesto para llevar en su embalaje n peldaño mi lugar habitual para una BUENA comida china!! N este lugar es más caro que los otros te seducen!! Evitar!!

Had Chinese from here a few times when first moved to area. Lady behind counter abrupt n not very pleasant. Food ok at best and that's being generous. small portions poor value for money. Found King's dragon another chinese nearby sooo much better. Nicer food way bigger portions and definitely better value for money. Won't be going to chop suey again that's for sure.

I am very lucky that this is my local Chinese takeaway. Michael and his family have been running this establishment for many years and have deservedly built up a loyal clientele. My favourite dishes are, chicken curry, Singapore noodles, and the salt and pepper ribs which for my money are the best in town.
