Nice food. Delivery times jumped from advertised speed when we placed the order, which is not great, but everything was tasty.

I have been ordering from May's Kitchen for years and they have maintained the same great quality and the same great level of service all that time.

Food was very bland, food came kind of cold with one dish being rather soggy and flavourless. Delivery driver waited around 10 minutes before letting us know that he’s been waiting outside.

Mays used to be fantastic however I haven’t ordered for a while until today. The entire meal was average to say the least. The crispy fried beef was particularly bad - as though it had been reheated from the night before. From one of my favourite Chinese restaurants this was highly disappointing. I won’t be returning.

Food was really flavourful, nice sized portions and nothing was greasy. Will be ordering from here again!

Have used Mays many times although this meal was not up to their usual standard. The chicken balls were chewy and very doughy. Not the best. The rest of the meal was great

Was a lovely Chinese probably one of the best takeaway chinese that I have had everything was fresh and very good flavour! Very impressed and delivery was before the estimated time!

Prior to ordering, delivery time was estimated at 45 minutes but it took around 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive, despite it being a 5 minute drive from my house. Food was bland, especially the kung pao chicken and fried rice. The only dish we didn’t mind was the roast duck. Very disappointed and will not be ordering again!

Food was not of similar quality as when we have ordered before. Crispy duck and vegetables very good. Hoisin sauce for duck very thin and watery and crispy beef overcooked.

The food at May's is excellent but the delivery is always an issue. Just eat gives an estimated waiting time of 35mins which we are prepared to wait for and when the order goes though the delivery is expected at least an hour later. Finally it arrives even later than that because the restaurant (as I had to call at 20.45 to chase ...ordered at 19.29 - order confirmed with a said 35 mins wait while placing the order, then given a window of 20.20 to 20.40 for delivery and at 20.45 I am on the phone to ask where the food is!). This is not working! Had I known I would wait that long, I wouldn't order.

Over 1 hour delivery although was informed. Food was nice bout wrong item was delivered- received egg instead of chicken rice. Other than that food was nice and would order again

Delivered on time and hot. Food was good; have ordered from May’s before and would do again. One main was the wrong one but couldn’t be bothered to complain and it was good so no biggie.

May’s continues to be the best Chinese and in Chiswick and beyond. Fresh and varied menu. Always delicious and cooked with care. It has been my go to for a decade. Their regular delivery driver deserves a shout for his polite and efficient manner. Try the XO dishes and other chefs specials

Cooking up good food for decades.

This place is great for a take away or home delivery but avoid it at all costs for a sit in meal as diners are basically a side line for take always. The service is dreadful as home deliveries come first and what’s more, the staff don’t care.

Love May’s food. Always made well and good quality. The aubergine in yellow bean sauce is silky and tasty. A vegetarian could get this as their main course. Hot sour soup my favourite. All good though.

Very positive feedback from us Only real complaint would be the Prawn Toast was sub standard! Dry and hard we had 2 portions of this and both were very disappointing everything else was excellent and would definitely use them again

I wanted to like this as it had good star reviews and unlike some other restaurants, the prices haven't sky rocketed. Unfortunately the chow mein tasted bland with a hint of dish cloth and the curry was pretty tasteless too.

I used to come here as a child since the age of 9 with my parents and buy the Chinese food here. The food was so good, they did the best sweet and sour prawn balls. Ive been coming here for over 20 years. I haven't been here for about a year, I went today and ordered sweet and sour prawn balls, boiled rice, crackers and large spring rolls. Firstly the price was way too high £20.50. The spring rolls were not large, it says 2 but looked like one roll just cut into 2 piece's. The prawn balls were over cooked and very very greasy. The sweet and sour sauce had been watered down, the rice over cooked and even the prawn crackers were greasy. I tried to eat the prawns out of the batter but just all tasted too disgusting. Really really disgusting. It's all going in the bin, you judge for yourself I've attached some photos. I now have to resort to making something to eat as I couldn't eat this food. The amount of grease has made me feel I'll.

Will be returning here and ordering their food again for a long time to come. Totally satisfied!

It would have been 5 stars on everything apart from the fact I didn’t receive the prawn crackers i paid for and also the chicken was abit grisly.

Excellent food. I had been unwell and it was just the pick-me-up I needed! The fact that May has been popular for so long is testament to the quality of the food.

Food arrived steaming and tasty - brilliant

We've ordered 3 meaty mains, dumplings and 1 portion of Singapore Fried noodles. The noodles were quite essential as all other mains featured only meat sauces, and yet that's the only item it was forgotten or replaced by spring rolls. If the restaurant would have reached out they would know that isn't appropriate replacement. As well an hour waiting time is long for current day and age. The food didn't taste that fresh!

Mediocre quality. Prawn toast was cold and chewy. Chicken with cashew nuts lacking flavour. Prawn balls were 70% batter . Can get better at M and S .

Chicken was very very overcooked but disguised by well cooked batter. Food had congealed and had clearly been sat in the box streaming for quite a while. Disappointed, won't order again.

The dishes were very cold when they arrived. The crispy beef tasted very fishy. It was a really strange taste, very unpleasant and unexpected. Really pleased to be able to support a local restaurant and the other dishes were pleasant but I would try somewhere else next time.

Chicken satay over cooked and dry.

They put delivered on there app however no delivery had been made I called them they said sorry we are busy I said excuse me but the app states delivery has been made however that is not the case she said driver In the way I said f call him she did however was over a hour late

The food was very good generally, but we found some of the meat, particularly the chicken, to be rather tough and chewy.

Saw this place had great reviews but unfortunately had a bad experience. Dumplings…the pasta was so thick hap to open to eat the filling. Sweet and sour pork was utterly inedible….meat was rancid covered with an uncooked flour (coating ) . Called the restaurant and to be fair were apologetic and offered a discount on next order…fair to say there won’t be one!! Avoid !

The restaurant canceled my order and I still have no refund 28.50

My partner ordered a takeaway dinner from this restaurant via Just Eat. I had some chicken from the skewer and it didn’t taste right. Then I saw that one of the pieces had a green colouration on it. This morning I had upset stomach. Trying to find a way to contact the restaurant, but no email or contact form available on their website. Partner left a review on Just Eat.

The chicken strips were off and had bad taste. The rice had absolutely no taste at all. So disappointing i used to love the food at Mays. Didn't even want to put such a negative review. Maybe they were having a bad day like we all do at times.

I didn’t like at all the Crispy Shredded Beef with Chilli. The taste was,sorry to say, disgusting. The rice was just ok because the chicken didn’t give a nice taste. The Ho Fun with Beef in Chilli Black Bean Sauce was really nice.

Very rude staff treating you like they were doing you a favour and avoiding eye contact. Food was average and tiny portions.
