Tian Tsin in Wandsworth

The delivery was very poor, not that it was long in the first place. But to be some 30 mins after that long wait. I don’t know how long the driver had the food for. The pork balls were soggy and all of the food was stone cold.

We regularly order a takeaway from Tian Tsin (at least twice a month) and whilst the food had been great for the last few years, the last three orders have been well below their usual quality. The chow mein was barely fried, the portion of crispy belly pork has almost halved and the chips were stale. It’s a sad day when your go-to takeaway appears to have lost its charm.

Not only was the food fantastic, but the staff went above and beyond to deliver after I’d forgotten to send some delivery instructions.

food ordered at 8pm, no sign of it by 9.15 so called and told that it was "on its way". since the restaurant is 15 mins drive and it still hadnt arrived at 9.45 called again.again told "on its way", and that they'd get the driver to call me.(he didn't) food finally arrived at 10.20 and the fish dish smelt of rotten seafood and had to be thrown away. very unimpressed.

Quantity is good but all the salt and pepper foods didn't have any seasoning. Bland

Tasty food, but just eat is a terrible service

Came early which was good. Pork Rice and sweet and sour chicken were great. Lemon chicken unfortunately was really bad - tasted so sweet like lemon drizzle cake…

The pork belly was crunchy and warm but its a bit too salty. The fried rice has got very little amount of meat on it.

Food was bland. Really not very tasty at all

The food was delicious. Being very hungry, we also appreciated that it actually turned up a lot earlier than expected. This will definitely be our favourite go-to Chinese place.

It was rank and full of salt and oil

Ordered a massaman curry and what was delivered was not that. Massaman curry is a potato based curry, however no potato was present in this order. Chinese cabbage was in it which is not part of a massaman, also it was terribly sweet and sugary which is not a massaman. Will not order from here again.

The Spring roll was very nice. I asked for vinegar with ginger for the dumplings. I received only vinegar so I had to go add ginger. Chilli and salt chicken wings didn't have any salt in it that I could detect (I can't much eat salt) and the chilli had no heat at all. There wasn't a lot of flavour in that dish. The chow mein was marginally under salted but okay. Overall I expected more given the 4.5 star rating.

Guys, if coming to sw16 just need to plan for these stupid LTN'S in your routes. I know it wasn't your fault the order tool ages. Food was great.

Great food, my favourite Chinese

Have often ordered from this takeaway. On this occasion however something was sorely amiss: the sweet and sour sauce smelled strongly like disinfectant (TCP, to be specific) and tasted foul. Utterly bizarre.

I was the last order and the owner brought the food to me personally. Beautiful tasting food as well. Deserves the five stars given.

Ordered a beef and got a chicken dish that had nothing to do with my order and I wouldn’t get a refund

Quickly becoming a favourite of mine, the food did arrive slightly cool and not hot but it tasted great after heating it up! Probably would like the round foil containers for set meals as the flavour is slightly lost in the plastic containers especially rice dishes. Overall the food was enjoyable and the flavours authentic!

Haven't had food from here for a while, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

i'm a regular Tian Tsin customer and usually the food is great. this time though, nearly no chicken in the chicken fried rice and the chicken balls were undercooked.. 😥

Regular coke was sent instead of Diet coke.

It was really nice and I called ahead to ask for a few tweaks to my order and they got it spot on!! Very enjoyable and will deffo order again. Just a little more flavour in the duck fried rice would have made a top 10 mark but overall very good!!

Crispy belly pork is wayyy too salty, by far but the rest of what I ordered was nice

The crispy pork is nice and well prepared and the Peking ribs were decent although I would prefer long ribs, (that weren't in the usual chopped up state you can get from some takeaway restaurants). The chow mein could have been warmer on delivery and the duck crispier but it was still nice!

We love ordering from tsan tsin, never disappoints, the tofu dishes are really good

Delivery good, food dreadful. Pad Thai wasn’t a pad Thai (wrong noodles, sweet & sour, drenched in sweet chilli) and inedible. I can make better egg fried rice, it was boiled and flavourless. Chow Mein poorly seasoned. The salt and chilli bean curd was good, though unlike I've ever had it - very much deep fried, quite oily (though I didn't hate that). I feel sorry for the person who said this was the best Chinese food they've had in London! Unfortunately I don't think I'd order again.

The chips weren’t the best and the smoked chicken had no flavour. Both needed cooking longer.

Used their own delivery drivers which were super quick and efficient, calling me to confirm the correct address etc. The food was unreal, best Chinese I’ve had since living in London.

Excellent food! It used to be my 'local' but, now I live further away, I'm delighted to be able to order via Just Eat. Hope the delicious little mini vegetable spring rolls get added to the menu soon.

Great value for money, delicious food and speedy delivery

Most of the food was good but the Crispy Pork Belly wasn't crispy and quite tough.

Lived in area for 22 years and never used. All food requirements accommodated which was great. Would of like more sauce in the curry maybe little less salt. Otherwise would be more than happy to order again and try something new :) thankyou

Food was tasteless, rice mushy unable To finish

I had warm lettuce in my food!! I couldn’t take it out because it was in the sauce ! No where did it state it would have that in and it’s unusual and this isn’t in the dish normally . I have a eating disorder so I am fussy with things . I was unable to eat the food unfortunately

Super bland and flavourless. The salt and pepper chips were delivered in a plastic box so arrived Soggy. Salt and pepper chicken was soggy and had a strange taste. Vermicelli duck noodles were flavourless and nasty. Even the egg fried rice was a disappointment. Avoid this place.

The chicken was very chewy and tough but the sauces were good.

Probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Beef in ginger and spring onions was sweet, a gravy with 5 spice inedible. Tough meet. Duck tasted as if it had been deep fried. Hong Kong chicken again was very sweet. A total waste of money.

Hot and sour soup was nearly black like treacle and went straight down the sink as did tasteless horrible flabby pork balls. Rice and prawns okay. Never again.

Realty tasty food - It was about an hour for delivery

The delivery driver gave my food to someone else and lied about it.

I didn’t like the taste of the food! I ordered food without pork and the noodles tasted like pork, was horrible. Also the beef was not in good condition was old… The rice was ok!

Not their best effort. Had used before and was good, but not this time. Seaweed tasted like it had been made with last week’s oil and rice was greasy. I may give them another chance based on good experience in the past, but disappointed with this order

I got a text at 1945 that my order was on the way. The first delivery driver gave my order to an unknown man who was by the apartment block main door and asked if it was “Chinese” without first checking the delivery address details and ringing my intercom bell. If he dad done that, he’d have known that person was chancing it! As such that person got my order! The restauranteur made up a second order for me and personally delivered it at circa 2100. They were very apologetic and it all ended well albeit way later than expected. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again as the food and service is very good and put this down to an unfortunate incident.

The food was amazing new favourite restaurant on the list. Very friendly staff. I look forward to trying something else on the menu. Out and out 10/10

This is the only Chinese Shop I order from and the Service and Food has always been good. This time (pm 5/5/22) the Fried Rice and Chicken Chow Mein were fine - but the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls were very 'outside and the chicken was tough to eat and digest' ... I was surprised as all food ordered is normally freshly cooked - you could tell the difference. Disappointed.

Ordered sweet & sour pork balls. Expected crispy deep fried pork balls. Huge, soggy, almost dumpling like offering which were sweet to the taste. Shame really. Price was good, delivery time was great, just thoroughly disappointed.

Sadly the worst Chinese meal I’ve ordered. The sweet and sour chicken was just chewy. Hardly tasted like chicken. 3 of us ordered and 3 of us binned it. Will have to find a new Chinese restaurant to order from.

I mistakenly set my delivery for collection and not delivery. So when l discovered it they delivered my food nice and hot!

The food is cheaper than other Chinese takeaways, and the portion size was good. It tasted ok, but was a bit too bland. I’ve ordered the hk sweet sour, shredded beef and mixed chow mein.

Was so hungry so decided on this take away silly of me I read the reviews after on just eat I also went over to type them in on Google to see if reviews will be different. Listen this take away has about 80 reviews and there was about 3 that gave good reviews and the rest was 1 star with really bad reviews I became really alarmed as that indicates something is really wrong with this restaurant... my food was cold and very tasteless it’s a good thing I only ordered 2 little orders as I could tell right away that quality of prawns was not good and cheep I certainly won’t be going back... and I would also like to say to the manager you need to sort yourself out quick maybe a new chef as if I was in business and I read every single review and it’s that bad I would definitely come out of business as the service your providing is below standards

Half the order was wrong and most of it was disgusting, with the exception of the dumplings and the hot & sour soup. I tried to call the restaurant but their phone number doesn’t work so I had no way of informing them that the food was wrong. I’m mortified that I had to pay for that, most of it went in the bin and I subsequently made a different order via UberEats.

Calamari was overcooked, edible but wouldn't order again. Pad Thai was horrible and very oiley had a few bites and tried to stir around incase it had just gathered in 1 section but the taste was still bad and had to throw it out and go to the shop to buy other food for dinner.

All the food was really delicious, especially the tofu dishes which were crispy and really good. The only thing I wouldn’t order is the hot and sour soup which didn’t taste good at all. But everything else is reasonably priced and really yummy!

Green curry was very spicy, really nice Mushroom omelette had a nice flavour. Thank you.

Absolutely vile! Food was cold. The vegetable "fried" rice was not fried but boiled with tiny pieces of frozen veg in it.. no flavour whatsoever. The same with the egg "fried" rice.. that was boiled with some egg mixed in.. no flavour. The chicken chop suey looked inedible, so didn't even try that.. the chicken had a strange look to it and the sauce was like water. The noodles were greasy. The pancake roll was just a smashed greasy slop. The sweet and sour chicken balls had been over fried, so hard and chewy. After a couple of mouthfuls we put it in the bin. Utterly shocked that this "takeaway" is allowed to remain on Just Eat. We have never seen or tasted food so revolting. Taken pictures out of sheer shock and will be telling friends to AVOID. This is a true and honest review.. actually feel furious that this place deemed this food acceptable to go out to customers. Should have not thrown it away but drove down to Tian Tsin and given it back to them and demanded a refund.

We fancied a Thai and decided to try somewhere new, seemed good cus had alot of ratings, they don't specialise in Thai seems like a Chinese style cooking which does Chinese, Japanese, Thai and all Eastern on menu. So not specialist, I can't speak for the Chinese and Japanese dishes as didn't try them, but the Thai was not good at all.. Phanag masaman was average. The Red Thai curry was awful, it was like syrup and totally not the way it should be.. The chicken strips that were in there were frozen chicken and not fresh good quality, my Mrs took one mouthful and did not like it so I tried as I eat everything.. I also tried and had to throw it away, I Would not recommend this too anyone, rice was not great either... I've had thousands of red Thai curries, this one takes the 1st place prize for worst one ever.. Don't let the amount reviews fool you, Avoid this place.

The spring roll did not seem fresh and was like it was cooked in old oil. The chicken fried rice was boiling rice with chicken thrown in with peas and peas chucked in. It was bland and I chucked it in the bin.

Loved the food, beancurd in black bean sauce, veggie chow mein and Aubergine sichuan style were amazing. Food delivered on time as well. Well recommended!
