My friend from Hong Kong wanted to treat me to some traditional Chinese food and chose here. It was my first experience in a Chinese restaurant and I can't thank the staff enough for their help, friendliness and excellent service as they went above and beyond to help me chose a dish as I only eat mainly chicken. The food was delicious and a great atmosphere too. Fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to everyone. 10/10.

Do not trust them. I mistakenly assumed they had one of these Parking Registration Screens, you know the kind, where you put your registration in to avoid a parking fine. The manager went along with the idea and took my registration number telling me ,'leave it with him'. If he had said at the time "there is nothing I can do, if you overstay you will get a PCN" I would have moved the vehicle no problem. To re-assure me knowing I would not be fined is unforgivable and one can only assume it is commission based and the business is part of this parking scam. Disgraceful!!! 14/5/25 In reply to your canned response. Please note, fines and car parking aside, your one star is due to the misleading misinformation provided by your restaurant staff/management. Very silly and very poor customer service.

The three of us ate two lobsters with rice noodle base, half a royal concubine, and several plates of stir-fried sweet beans and cuttlefish paste. The food is fresh, hot enough, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The room manager personally placed orders, and the waiters poured tea and water to greet everyone. Worth recommending. 👍👍👍

Service - most of the staff are very nice, but two of the staff were a little rude. I hope the 10% mandatory service charge were given to the nice helpful staff Atmosphere - it was a nice atmosphere but the chairs were too low or table was too high so it was kinda awkward to eat Food - Unpleasant experience overall. The positive is the dumplings were very nice. Ho Fan and fish was okay. The negative is the lamb was VERY VERY chewy. The pork and duck was STONE COLD. Not hot, not warm but stone cold. Having come in just after the restaurant just opened raises the question if the meat was last night's leftovers. Definitely not fresh food. Paying short of £100 for stone cold food is unacceptable.

A hidden gem. The food is definitely fresh and made in house from scratch. The Sui Mai were amazing and so was the pork belly. The crispy prawns parcels are a must try.

Not happy! Firstly, we ordered sliced duck in plum sauce. It ended up being sliced batter in duck sauce! Out of the 12 battered pieces, only 5 had duck in them. I called the waitress over and she got the manager who came to look and agreed! But then did nothing about it! She took it away and that was that. I was still charged. To then rub salt into the wounds she presented my bill and put a 10% discretionary service charge onto it. I objected but she insisted it was on the menu as a "service charge". I asked to see the menu and in tiny words it mentions "A 10% discretionary service charge". I said this is discretionary and she agreed...but did nothing and charged it! Won't be going back!!

We went for evening family meal, amazing service, food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection. Lots of free parking (parking is time limited but no cause for concern unless you eat super slow). Highly recommend Glamorous Chinese Restaurant.

The quality of the food drops a lot! Bad experience for this visit, the food portions are very small and the poor dining environment. Drink also low quality. This maybe the reason why fewer and fewer people visiting here. The staff push customer to write the fake Google 5 stars reviews, which is really nasty. We suspect the 5 stars review with pictures may 80% come from their staff or push customer to write the fake reviews. AVOID this restaurant and will NEVER come again.

We came for dim sum on a Saturday noontime. There was a warm welcome from smiling waitresses, and we sat amid a contented buzz from diners, many from Manchester’s Hong Kong Chinese community. Cantonese cuisine at its freshest and tastiest.

Don't need to worry for the parking. Meal quality is not the top but above average. The good point is I can go down for shopping before or after meal.

I went to this place for dinner last night. The service and food were excellent,I personally loved the crispy belly pork. The meat melted on my tongue as the crispy belly gave it a nice crunch. I would love to come back here again.
