Glamorous is an institution by this point in the Manchester Chinese food scene. Its as good as they get when its comes to an authentic southern Chinese restaurant experience. The menu is varied with something for everyone and the service is always warm and welcoming. I’ve been coming here for 15 years and would recommend it to everyone!

I went to the Glamorous Chinese Restaurant for a Chinese New Year celebration with ATCM (association of traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture) I have been before, and I knew that I would not be disappointed. It was a banquet. The food was excellent as well as the service. The ambience was second to none .

Excellent service and authentic dim sum. We come here each year around Chinese New Year time, and find this place getting better and better! We particularly appreciated the suckling pig Chinese New Year special.

Sadly not as good as it used to be despite the increase in price. Was really looking forward to visiting again. Understandably busy for CNY weekend just gone, but don't expect any table bookings to be honoured at busy times. We were made to wait behind walk ins who hadn't booked. Having arrived 30mins early, none of this was made clear so we went downstairs to shop before coming back at the time we'd booked in, to then wait another 20 minutes with tired, hungry children in tow. 3 roast rice was disappointingly fatty with little meat for £16. Sorry but we'll not be back. Oriental City in Leeds is better quality and better value.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant! The food was delicious, with generous portions that satisfied everyone at our table. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Our group included both Hong Kongers and locals, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. The roast duck, in particular, was outstanding and definitely worth recommending. We will be coming back for sure!

The food was extremely delicious! Everyone was so friendly and cheerful! We didn't feel rushed even though we came late in the evening. We also received large Clementines with leaves after the meal.

This is our regular place with free parking, limited to 4 hours. The food is authentic and caters for all. Service is awesome, the staff ensure you get the best service. There’s a huge choice of food to order from the menu and the waiters are happy to make recommendations. Highly recommend.

Decor: The restaurant features a vintage-style decor, though some might consider it worn-out. Service: The service was average. One female staff member accidentally knocked over my chopsticks but quickly caught them with her gloved hand and placed them back in my bowl. I appreciated her quick reaction, but I couldn't help but question the hygiene practices. Food: Dry-fried Beef Ho Fun: The wok hei was there, which was great! However, apart from being overly salty, there was no other flavor to speak of. The rice noodles were chewy, and the bean sprouts were crunchy, but there was no hint of beef flavor. Fried Custard Buns: It was obvious that these were only fried on the oiled side, resulting in very uneven cooking. For such a simple fried dish, it was quite disappointing. Ginger and Scallion Beef Tripe: I understand that tripe needs proper cleaning and odor removal, but boiling it in water to cook isn’t the best approach. While the ginger and scallion flavor was strong, the texture of the tripe resembled vomit. Fresh Bamboo Roll: This was comparatively the best dish. It reminded me of British-style stuffed foods, and the seasoning was spot on. 👍 Steamed Siu Mai: I’m genuinely curious how they managed to steam it to the point of being completely tasteless. The texture was okay, but it lacked flavor entirely. Fried Dough Wrapped in Rice Noodles: The fried dough was overly greasy and soggy, while the rice noodle wrapping was rubbery and chewy. Other Notes: The restaurant has a covered parking lot, which is a plus, but beyond that, there’s nothing redeeming. This meal cost £50, and I honestly regret it.

No wonder no one in Manchester City wanted to go to Jinhuang for a meal, it was really a hidden secret! The first time I ate, I was urged three times and four times to hurry up. The Chinese Super League is downstairs. After that, I must go to Li for a drink. I know, I know my lungs. It turned out that after buying the game in the Chinese Super League, I had to get on the bus and transfer to the parking lot of the restaurant. On the scene, d guy came forward to write down what he said. It's none of his business, it's your own problem. I thought, if you are writing about your mother, she should tell every guest when they come into the hotel and mention that guests need to park their cars in the restaurant’s dedicated parking lot! d is wild and the food is not good (important point). Zhong wants to fine people. Zhong wants to think that your guests don’t understand clearly. This is really a very bad service attitude. Zhong wants to insist on charging me 10% service charge. It is written in the British law. Ming, Nao Ni Ye, if you provide good service, I will help you. If the service is poor, you should not accept it. Nao Ni Ye, I don’t know what to say.

I prefer to eat the chef's handmade dim sum. You can try many types, but the waiter would mind if the customer only eats dim sum and not just fried noodles. It's best to let the customer choose and don't rush. Besides, fried noodles taste salty and fatty.

Unexpectedly, in an Asian supermarket, you can find a comfortable, casual Chinese restaurant where you can gather with friends. This supermarket is one of the largest Chinese supermarkets in Manchester, and the Chinese restaurant inside is also one of the best places to eat. The main thing is that there is a large multi-story parking lot. The parking lots on the 2nd and 3rd floors can park for 3 hours, which is very convenient.

As a frequent visitor, the food has always been delicious, there are plenty of dishes to choose from and come in large portions, making the prices reasonably affordable. The staff are always friendly, hospitable and provide a great service. Across the wide range of dishes I have tried here, I would highly recommend their roast duck, crispy noodles and casserole dishes. If you're around for lunch, I would also recommend their dim sum!
