A smaller buffet style, but perfectly narrowed down to everyone’s favourites from a Chinese buffet. Food is constantly fresh and kept in rotation. Great quality food too. Very surprised by how good the food was here, it really was a decent Chinese Buffet with plenty of choice and fresh food being brought out regularly. The only strange thing is that you have to ask for ice cream, I wonder what situation caused "ice cream gate"? The other dish I would recommend is the duck pancakes, which were both fresh and had good ingredients.

Came here on a whim as been in the city for a party. Wanted something asian. 15.95 bufet sounded like an amazing option. And sure it was! Nice selection of food. Very tasty. Basic drink selection tho. Staff super polite. Very happy about the visit. Mind on paying before eating and drinks. Also 5£ minimum for card payments if youll order some extra drinks. No negatives from me. Would come back again for sure!

Good Chinese food, very good value for money, all you can eat for only 13 pounds. In terms of dishes, there are different fried foods, stir-fried vegetables and Chinese meats, fried noodles and fried rice. In terms of desserts, there are canned fruits, soft ice cream, Chinese desserts, etc.

This place is awful. Situated in a basement, having to pay before eating, customers were packed like sardines in a tin, food was of a very low quality and staff who were watching you all of the time and very rude and unfriendly. Never again.

I've been dining here for many years it's always excellent value and always excellent food the price is right, it's a buffet restaurant some people don't get it so please disregard the negative reviews and try China buffet.

China Buffet is a cheap and cheerful buffet right in the centre of town. It can feel a bit regimented though with all the notices around, ‘don’t do this’ ‘leave this alone’ etc. The food is standard but tasty. Could do with more stuff to put on the ice cream though.

Great little Chinese buffet, good selection and great price.

Stumbled (quite literally) upon this place during mamchester pride one year and now it's our go to place to eat Chinese food in Manchester. Lots of choice and always fresh. Drinks are not expensive either. We went Saturday last week and for me and my wife for food 2 beers and 2 soft drinks it was just over 40 quid. Would highly recommend.

Taking into account that it is a buffet at a cheap price for the area, you cannot expect the same quality as in a normal restaurant, but precisely because it is a buffet I was pleasantly surprised. In general the food was delicious, in fact for example the fried chicken wings were very good (juicy but crunchy), the vegetable rolls were also very good, and the fried rice, beef and sweet and sour pork were also very tasty. The food replenishment was constant and the cleaning was more than correct. The workers were very polite and attentive, the place was clean, and, I don't know if it was because it was a Monday, but I didn't expect any queues. Overall great quality-price.

Does what it says at a very reasonable price. Hard working staff keep food restocked and drinks served. It is very "buffet" styled and functional, but for the price you can't complain.

Needs a refurbishment, but the food made up for it, a little gem hidden in a basement.

Found the buffet by chance ... The one we used to visit no longer open 😞 ... Finding this restaurant was really great ... Everything was perfect ... The choice of food is excellent, staff very attentive and the buffet was reasonably priced at 4:30 pm in the afternoon when we visited.

It is cheap in comparison with other chinese restaurants next to it but its menu is somewhat boring and lack of variety. Will be back there very soon.

Hard to believe such a nice and cheap Chinese buffet still exist in 2024! Spent some time waiting to be seated but really worthwhile. There were a variety of food choices, from stir-fried meat and veg, to staple food like stir-fried noodles and rice, to desserts amd friuts.The food got filled up quickly once got empty. Although it's busy and a bit packed, the staff were very polite and enthusiastic.

Even though it is a small little buffet and the menu isn't huge like most, all you can eats the food that they serve is delicious and the servers are incredibly kind and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone if you want some amazing Chinese food in Manchester without getting ripped off 10/10

Small-ish selection for a buffet, they seemed to be keeping things topped up. Staff were friendly, you have to pay at the counter first. Food was unbearably sweet for me, every main dish was very very sweet which was a shame. A lot of people in there seemed to be enjoying it though, and for £12:95 what do you expect? I would give it 2.5 stars if I could, sorry...

Small choice but good choice! Been here about 3 or4 times now and it's always really good! staff are nice and friendly and good is always yummy and hot. Large choice of desserts and ice cream machine is always a hit!

Ok buffet, smaller than others, but is good value 😁 early dinner

I’m traveling with my bike but I didn’t have a lock. I left the bike by the window where I can see. 10 minutes later I saw some shadows on my bike. I ran out and the owner Phillip came out to back me up so the thief walks away. Later we chatted and I learned that this restaurant has opened for 20 years. no wonder they are able to keep this low price and good quality of food. I’m forever grateful to Phillip for standing up for me.

It was very busy when we went , it was sunday dinner time though. Staff are a little to eager to clear your table sometimes. But there's something to please most people food wise.

Food was excellent but you're crammed into a small space where other diners have no regards for others around. Our experience was people burping loudly, shouting over others for no reason, nudging and bumping into you whilst you're eating and grabbing hold of the back of your chair with their dirty hands touching your coat whilst carrying a plate of food that full it was falling off.. Not the best experience overall, We won't be going back unfortunately..

Great atmosphere for such a tiny place.very busy Saturday at 4:30 in the afternoon. Worth the wait of 10mins for a table. They give you one hour to eat what you can, such is the turnover with so many customers waiting to get in. Run of the mill Chinese buffet, plenty of choice and I love that desserts are simple chunks of jelly, pineapple, melon etc. Cheaper than a set menu and definitely value for money. Clean place, really friendly staff who work hard Chinese beers on sale served at the table. We had 3 visits to the food bar. Noodles, Rice, pork peppers chicken samosas spring rolls,Prawns, etc. Great choice, good place for kids nothing too spicy for them. The pace of theb place is a real buzz. Its one of the few remaining original buffet style places to eat for a set price of around £12. 3 of us eating with beers £50. Its a down to earth place for chow and I've lost count how many times I've been back time & time again. Compliments to the staff

2 of us came for lunch on Wednesday, value for money and nice food. Good variety of food. Did not try deserts but saw there were a few on display and ice-cream machine. Clean and serves very quickly but friendly staff.

You ate food varieties until you were full. They had every good meal type in Chinese culinary opulence. Customer service was top-notch.

Visited on a Monday evening, reasonably busy but staff were plentiful and helpful. It's a no frills place, but as a self-serve buffet I wouldn't expect any. Food was really tasty, a good range of dishes all kept topped up. Seems to be good value for the area, especially as it is 'all you can eat'. Probably some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long time.

Unfortunately, the food itself was not to our liking, in general we did not like everything, the only thing we found delicious was the sweet and sour chicken.

The staff are so helpful, the food is very good the buffet is looked after and topped up with fresh items price is purfect, a little chilli in the winter, but I am old and feel the cold will go back.

Don't believe the Google feedback; this place is horrible. It's located in the cellar with no windows, making it dark and smelling weird. It's very small, and the tables are almost touching each other. Some members of the staff were nice, but others were rude. The food is absolutely rubbish; it was horrible. While the soups are good, the pastas and sauces taste bitter, or like vinegar, which is really weird. There were few Iceland (deep-frozen) products, that were really oily, and the desserts... Almost just really cheap jelly and canned fruits, nothing else. And the jellys were disgusting too, how can you mess up a jelly? And the plates are also the cheapest, they were really small and the food spilled off to it. It cost around £12.50; I think it's really expensive for this quality. The Bon Asia all-you-can-eat buffet is £14.00 and is amazing, offering high quality with hundreds of options. Don't waste your money; it's not worth it at all.

Food was ok, space in this little establishment is not great felt like we was rushed to eat our food to let waiting people in the restraunt due to not so many tables people who run the restraunt were nice and would call again but not when it's so busy you have to wait on the stairs before being allowed entry into the restraunt.

I come here regular vary seldom leave reviews but I have to say food is always good multiple choice it is always popular when I go here I have seen some bad reviews but seen a review from Mira gre and believe me all she had to do was mention to the staff something was low or unavailable they are there to put things right ..as for her saying the deco is dated it’s ment to be as it’s traditional and clean .food was superb salad and veg and vegan vegetarian choice is always available there is always something for every type of taste bud ..

Came here with my 3 teenage sons brilliant service from start to finish. Even my picky son was trying things he's never tried before. Was really busy but the team kept tables cleared and food topped up. Never waited on drinks either. The quality of food was fantastic. Prawns, ribs, wings satay chicken skewers crispy duck, plenty of chicken and pork dishes. Beef Satay curry lush. Will definitely be back. Don't go to the chain buffets head here!

An incredible variety of fresh and delicious dishes. A welcoming atmosphere, perfect for fans of Chinese cuisine!

The venue was a tighter squeeze than we thought, but food was amazing, one gentleman who let us in was very charismatic, nice guy and welcoming, the price was 55£ for two adults buffet, and two double alcoholic drinks with coke. I loved most of the food, the meats were tender and not dry or chewy, sauces were impeccable, prawn toast was crunchy and sensational. It is just quite a small space, so be mindful of a queue and close proximity to others when dining and getting your delicious food.

Went today with my girlfriend and the food was amazing especially for the price! Staff was really friendly and it was an overall great experience, I'm definitely going again!

One of the nicest Chinese I've had in a long time, for the price I thought it would just be ok but it was really nice, salt n pepper chicken wings were the best I've had, pork was really good and vermicelli was better than most takeaways I've had. Would deffo recommend and will certainly come back again. Excellent value for money.

Very cramped in like sardines, shoulder to shoulder with other customers, not much choice with the buffet, had a guy shout in My face "pay first pay first" as soon as I walked through the door which I thought was rude. To top it off I wasn't too well a few hours later aswell..

The hosts are absolutely lovely, especially the lady with the cool tattoos and dyed hair, she is so welcoming every time and chill. The food is brilliant, I always worry at buffets if the food is going to be good and hygienic, but China Buffet is the best buffet for taste and hygiene. I usually try and get 3 plates to get the best of what's on offer, I leave feeling satisfied and stuffed for a great price.

We called in for lunch buffet. There wasn't any duck available that day, but we felt there was a good choice of food. Other reviews mention a time limit, but that didn't happen for us. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Tables were crammed together, though, but that happens in most buffets.

Best thing is it's cheap.....that's the best thing over. If you want to eat slop that pigs have refused to eat in vast quantities this is the place. Starters include crab sticks in batter hhhmmm delicious. Main course include grizzly beef in gravey granules with some black pepper thrown in and you have Beef in Black Beans....... There was whole Prawns but strange reddish liquid came from then when you de-shelled them (never seen that before) tried one and it was like eating a solid rubber tyre. Not saying all the positive comments are wrong but maybe the proper chef was on holiday. Ps. To the extremely rude lady waiter - when I was leaving your "restaurant" a group of 6 people where just about to go down and asked me "how was the food" strangely they went else where .....isn't Karma just great

Very small inside and food very mediocre....starters were rubbish, mains some not bad, chicken sweet n sour ok as was honey glazed pork....soup was disgusting (like glue)...banana fritters were awful....hard not sure if they had been frozen....won't be visiting again!!!

Small and very limited. Cutlery isn't changed after plates are taken, they just take Ur fork n knives and put back on table. Problem is I don't want someone touching my cutlery with fingers I have just seen pick other people's dirty plate and if you are sharing a table with people at some point u don't even know which is yours,but very good tasty food

Food,service and atmoshphere is good,staff is polite and gentle,but there is no fish item,just few chicken items and one beef item, mostly dishes are vegeterian,starters are all frozen food like spring roll,chips,samosas and etc,in desserts u find diffrent type of jellies,there are two tyoe of soup chicken corn soup and chilli garkic soup and they were so good,there is also icecream,u pour it by ur self from the machine by pressing it handle so i enjoy a lot pouring icecream and it was so good in taste. Anyway all dishes are good in taste i really enjoyed (All chicken and beef dishes are halal)
