THE cctv cameras in toilets pointing in the direction of the urinals is a bit of an alarm .

My friend booked a table for six a good six weeks in advance, only to find on turning up there was no record of our booking. It was only by luck that as the customer foot print was low that we were able to get a table. When we asked what went wrong reference our booking, no explanation was given. This would never have happened under the previous ownership.

Me and my dad love to have a catch up here, the service is always fab, always a good range of drinks, lovely scenery clean and friendly

We stayed here a few months back and found the place to be excellent again! Last time the breakfast service was poor due to a member of staff, this time the complete opposite ! The pub is amazing and has a nice atmosphere, the restaurant is lovely and the food excellent ! The staff are all really eager to please, the breakfast as I mentioned was excellent with great service ! Room 12 is a challenge for a 6’2 person but comfortable ! The bath should be replaced with a shower cubicle really but can’t fault the place overall and will always come back even if in room 12 :-)

Very disappointed with our meal tonight. Undercooked chicken burger served and when returned the replacement came out raw. Photo attached. Unfortunately it put everyone else off their meals which seemed ok. The staff and manager were very apologetic, polite and agreed it was not acceptable.

We always sit in the garden, but it has deteriorated rapidly over the months..... they need to dig up the weeds & plant some easy to maintain shrubs...

Had a wonderful evening here for our anniversary the food and drink was gorgeous would highly recommend. We will certainly go back again.

I used to come here a lot many years ago. Saturday night used to be bouncing. I rang and reserved a table and was very surprised it was nearly empty. The staff were friendly but a simple meal took an hour to arrive. It was ok but nothing special. We went for a desert that thankfully came out quicker than the mains , again nothing special. By the time we left at 9.25 we were the last to leave. What’s happened? Absolutely no atmosphere. Food ok with average prices. We could hear the noisy bar where the language wasn’t good. Yet the restaurant is very nicely decorated so I’m not sure what audience they are now trying to attract as many years ago it was the place to go for food. Disappointed.

Wow yeh haa thought I was in a western bar… plenty of turn a blind eye by bar staff and door staff, just google their door staff company nuff said

Nice meals not much to choose from on menu tho chips in a small basket and not many … over priced garlic bread £4:20 and onion rings £3:95 on sides they need keep up the game as In massive competition with other pubs around the area …. The dinning looks more like a cafe needs more love ❤️ lovely staff I would return but some family members won’t needs bigger plates for the larger eaters….

Always putting prices up small portions very small closed had to order on phone I knew would get small portion Size as you can't see them doing the food large donner more like a small . Cost £9 rip off . Will not be going there again not for a donner
