The best restaurants serving British food in South Wales

Restaurant comfortable with plenty of room between tables.. Food, service and drinks selection very good. Reasonably priced and well presented. Toilets facilities clean and tidy. Plenty of parking space. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great location tidy rooms. Charged twice for room and aweful customer service trying to get it refunded.

Una vez más la comida era delicioso filete scampi y patatas fritas cocinado a la perfección. Definitivamente viene de nuevo. Una familia favorita para reuniones y cumpleaños. Todavía no nos han decepcionado y venimos al menos uno al mes cada pocas semanas. Gran relación calidad-precio también. Muy recomendable 👌 ambiente me encanta.

Very interesting little place, large garden and smoking area with heaters, variety of music too. Staff are generally nice and welcoming

Stopped in here for breakfast which was very good. Wanted to do a review because the lady behind the bar was so lovely and especially kind to my daughter even writing to the kitchen so they brought her out egg and soldiers - thank you - great customer service. Decor was pleasant and had a good feeling, nice covered area out the back which will be a nice place to sit in summer, and everywhere was immaculate.

Very busy, they said lunch deal and got medium size cappuccino but when they gave me it was less than half of the cup. So had to go back and ask them to add milk. Do not cheat in food when we pay for it.

This popped up so I posted a review about my feelings on the place which are valid but out of date. I used to really like your place so hope it is open again soon and back to how it was at the start.

This is an excellent pub which does an outstanding miners breakfast and also a cracking Sunday dinner (the pork is fabulous). If you’re in the area then this is the pub to aim for but book in advance as it is sought after (you’d be worried if it wasn’t).

Always good food and good service

Visitado hoy - primera vez para ser reakfast. Pedí huevos revueltos en tostadas con un poco de tocino y una olla de té. El servicio era muy bueno, chicas jóvenes encantadoras que eran muy cortés. Cuando llegó el desayuno, la apariencia fue suficiente para posponerme. La tostada solo se tostaba por un lado y había una "pila" de tocino duro graso y grasiento por el lado. Huelga decir que dejé casi todo, comí un poco del huevo que no estaba tan mal pero por más de £ 11 para el desayuno - Nunca más.

Food was beautiful tonight, 16 of us and all meals were spot on! Also all meals came together, staff were fab! Gemma sang happy birthday out of tone though hahaha great night. Thank you
