The best restaurants serving British food in South Wales

We went for a 21st birthday meal, what a beautiful place ! The meal was delicious, service was quick and the staff were lovely, we were looked after by Cerys who was very polite, helpful and a credit to the team! We had a window table overlooking the gorgeous countryside wirh amazing views! Would highly recommend and we would definately return !

Went on Saturday for a school reunion. Lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the visit. It would be good to have more choice of wine than Jack Rabitt. Not a fan of that but still enjoyed. Staff were lovely

Been for breakfast few weeks ago, was cold to point not even butter melted on toast and food was stone cold. Went for sunday lunch today. First gave us wrong order and when ours arrived was shocking how bad it was. Half hour late and barely cooked gravy is basically water, even table behind us was laughing while eating how bad it was and them and us couldn't wait to get out quick enough. We all left about 3/4s of food on our plates. Don't waste your time

Could go, my friend got cancer and could not get married. She was excited for her wedding and they refused to give her money back. She didn’t find something better, she didn’t change her mind, she was fighting for her life. She deserves so much better then these awful people

Friendly atmosphere, polite staff. Reasonable prices. Ample parking.

I've only had a drink here on a Tuesday night open mic,pleasant staff great atmosphere, old fashioned pub,lovely conservatory, beer garden, small parking.

Just had Sunday lunch in the angel n wot a lovely atmosphere n nice warm welcome food served was piping hot n everything cooked to perfection beef melted in your mouth definitely b back x

Room was dirty dead fkys everywhere Have taken pictures also bedding wasn't fresh room was smelling stairs where full cob webs along with room shower curtain was dirty

What a fabulous little coffee shop the food was amazing with the best toastie I have ever tasted and dog friendly too. I will definitely be back soon.

Best chippy by far in the valleys. Lovely white fish, perfect chips and lovely curry sauce. Can't fault it!

We went here Wednesday 16th April evening, me and my wife, I had curry half n half, and my wife had corned beef pie, mash and peas, we really enjoyed the meals, good portions, and lovely staff, plenty of selection of drinks, all in all a good visit?

Been here for breakfast and Sunday lunch and never disappointed!! Today we went for our Christmas Dinner get together and it was outstanding!! The food was excellent and the service was brilliant. They really make your experience special and they go the extra mile !! The trifle was Delicious!!(so is the food)😁😁🤣🤣👍👍👍👍

Not impressed with my visit unfortunately. The ‘large breakfast’ was a small serving spread out on a big plate. My eggs Benedict sauce only tasted of salt and the breakfast muffin was dry (no butter). Overpriced and left still hungry!

Only drinking and listening to the live music. Great atmosphere as ever, lots of people dancing and enjoying themselves. We always like the Brewhouse, great venue.
