Went for Brunch and was not disappointed. Beautifully cooked and served up double quick. Real tea in a proper pot too - nice touch. The Big Bob has black pudding and mushrooms. Very reasonably priced too - full breakfast + tea for a tenner. The decor is interesting and makes for a great atmosphere and the warmest of welcomes. Can't fault it - will go again.

Great cafe quirky decorated with a mix of sofas/coffee tables and normal tables and chairs. We had 4x Bobs breakfasts all good, well cooked just the right size. Bacon was good and thick, Sausage and eggs were good, came with toms, beans, toast and little fried potatoes. Latte also good. Big band jazz playing quietly in the background which was cool, Staff and customers very friendly. We will be back to try the roast dinner very soon. Thanks.

This cafe has now been renamed Bob and Nancys. It is a proper community cafe full of comfortable armchairs and tables. Not only do they do meals on wheels but offer a wide range of freshly cooked food, catering for vegetarian, vegan and gluten intolerant needs, from early morning to late afternoon. They also put on a range of evening activities and during the day are offering community based activities. Everyone is made to feel very welcome and they are dog friendly. They are part of the warm hub initiative. I had tea with a choice of loose leaf in a pot, herbal and tea bag tea in a mug. The coffee is of excellent quality and freshly ground. They had an enticing selection of cakes and sweet treats and an extensive savoury menu, all freshly cooked. I had a toastie which was awesome and a trifle in a proper china cup which was really great. they have a toilet with baby changing facilities and a high chair.

A lovely little place to visit. Nicely decorated and very clean. Not a great variety of food on offer. Food was all acceptable. I am afraid the staff do seem to need a bit of training in customer relations. Nobody seems happy working here and it shows in their attitude to customers.

My family like the good quality reasonably priced food and the very friendly atmosphere here. We go regularly and have never been disappointed. My disabled aunt had Christmas dinner delivered for £25 and she said it was superb. They offer a good delivery service and they do outside catering for parties and funerals.

Often stop in here for breakfast or lunch. Food is freshly cooked and really lovely. Breakfasts are excellent quality and plentiful. The roast dinners are just like you'd cook at home and very reasonably priced. Good coffee as well. Would recommend to anyone.

Good place for coffee. Can be noisy when busy due to the lower ceilings in part of the space. Cake marked as gluten free does have 'may contain' so not suitable for those diagnosed coeliac.

First impressions were that it was very quiet for a Friday evening. Not 1 person in Bar and just 3 tables in the restaurant (9 people). Menu was completely different online and we were advised it was new management. Seemed a very Basic menu. Ordered 2 Gammon, 1 Regular Burger & 1 Lamb Burger. Onion rings. Cheese garlic bread. Asked the waitresses if there was any sauce on the Lamb Burger her reply was 'No'. Advised that I could have 'No sauce whatsoever' . Her reply 'I will make sure' Food came and all looked nice. Gammon very undercooked. Went to cut Lamb burger in half to pick up and sauce absolutely oozed out. Not slightly but lots. Showed the waitress who said she was very sorry and would deal with it. Meal was back within minutes. Same burger as previously as the original cut was still there. THE CHEF HAD WIPED THE SAUCE OFF THE BURGER and put it in a fresh roll. Had to send it back as I'm not able to eat red sauce/relish ect. All food was left as the others were not even asked if there food was ok and it upset the whole table. Asked to speak to the manager and was advised he was busy. When we asked for the bill and advised we wouldn't be paying for the burger he appeared. Unfortunately he couldn't' see what was wrong with the situation. Didn't understand that wiping the sauce off was an issue and could have made me very Ill. Total bill £69.

Very nice pub, the staff were excellent and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. So five stars there. The food was average pub grub and lacked the extra attention needed for an evening meal, at £17 for a pie and chips I was not impressed, so, three stars there, drinks expensive, I can understand why it is a brewery-owned pub, the people running it are great though.
