Delivery driver was not very helpful also did not deliver food to the door we was asked to go outside to collect are food from him on the road

Booked a table for 6 for 7pm - no table reserved and still awaiting food over an hour later. Can’t tell you whether food is edible as the wait is intolerable.

Went for sunday lunch with my Autistic daughter Joanna and staff was amazing with us put us on a quite table from noise it made our lunch more enjoyable we will be back

Disappointed. Ordered the leek and cheese welsh cakes but they were a bit well done and therefore dry. Had a pizza for main and was given the wrong one. It tasted lovely but not what I ordered. We ordered chips which were very very crispy. We also ordered the cheese board with Perl las but had to ask for the Perl las as it was missing!. The service was ok but the young girls were more interested in having a chat than checking to see if the customers were ok. There only thing that I can say was that they did not rush us out of there and the overall vibe was good,

This place is a fantastic dinner night to have with family or friends The food is outstanding and the service is amazing would recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble for our servers Sam and Jo. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious, although the desserts were not as good as the mains. We will definitely go back.

Welsh house really helpful, just eat driver refused to go back to the welsh house to get the other half of the order that he left behind so this is not acceptable

The atmosphere at the welsh house was Fantastic, very relaxed and given plenty of time to choose off the menu, the server's laura and joe were very friendly,polite and welcoming and to top it all off the food was fantastic I would definitely recommend this establishment and will be definitely be back again 10/10

Got them on a bad day, steaks were poor, loads of wastage, was told staff shortages, waited 30 mins from drinks order, basic drinks off the menu (doom bar) a very disappointed group of 8 people

We were passing through Cardiff and researching where to eat typical black food from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, we discovered this highly rated place on Google and it was no surprise, Ana and I had a wonderful meal trying out the starters , the typical Lamb Gawl dish and the Welsh dessert. It was delicious and the service was spectacular, we were positively surprised by this restaurant! Congratulations to the entire team! It was packed and everything came as ordered 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Lovely time! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was authentic and delicious. We were there for Father's Day and they had a special roast menu going on. They had these like balls of stuffing. I've never seen stuffing like that before, it was crispy and tender for every bite. What a genius idea, I'll be stealing that the next time I make stuffing at home.

Only stopped off for a drink after a long walk and I'm glad we did. Don't let the surrounding establishments put you off. We sat in the small beer garden and it was great. Music playing, good atmosphere and good drinks. I didn't try the food, but it looked good.

Went in the other night. Could tell it was really busy but the staff were all amazing. Served by Flo behind the bar, so lovely and recommended a nice rum mixed with Coke for me to try, knows her stuff and dealt with the pressure really well. Will be back again

We've been twice now, the first time was quiet, the second we accidentally booked for quiz night. Both times the food has been absolutely delicious, but the service on both occasions has been slow. The staff are friendly and apologetic but it's really slow.

Was a quiet lunch time so no real atmosphere as such. Lovely room with lots of Welshness. Would be nice to have an option for light lunches like sandwiches and jacket potatoes etc

We was served by Theresa and she was so lovely and helpful. The food came out so fresh and tasty and the pudding was delicious with In house freshly made cream. We have travelled far to come Wales and was so glad to have found this absolute gem! Theresa was so welcoming and made us feel at home.

Delicious pizza but it arrived cold because it took so long. I ordered at 8:45pm and it arrived after 10pm.

Our experience at this restaurant was exceptional from the moment we arrived until we left. Staff Sam J and Ella were courteous, friendly and attentive and went beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable evening while celebrating our daughter's birthday. This was our first visit and we have recommended this restaurant to family and friends for the overall experience.

We hired the Welsh house bar for our daughter’s 21st birthday. The staff were excellent. Couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Buffet food served on time and was very tasty. They let us decorate and hire in our own guitarist. Easily accommodated 70 guests with room for dancing 🕺🥂🥃🍺

Popped in to the Welsh house for a drink and had such a lovely time we stayed for dinner. Savoury Welsh cakes are to die for and the pizza was as good as any we’ve had in Italy. The staff were all amazing and we genuinely had a lovely afternoon/evening. The Welsh house is a great asset to the town, big shout out to Jo who served us our meal. Thanks for a grand afternoon !

First things first the food, solid 10 out of 10 all day long 😀 our food was delicious and our food palettes was very happy with the our decision on grub. Service was 20 out of 20 I was greated by Sam and Ella haha love the name with them two 😂 awesome welcome, friendly and when I approached them about a question I had and they where spot on the ball and very very helpful with the service they provided and for that I am very very grateful. Atmosphere, 10 out 10 the build was outstanding and the deco was giving of a vibe where we could stayed all day and night so guys of your reading this keep it up 🤙

Pizza's here are very very good, cannot fault the food at all, I've ordered different ones weekly over the past few months. Orders have been via Just Eat and arrived on time and hot. Unfortunately today the order was marked as delivered but never turned...

Don't waste your money! Not surprising isn't was quiet on a Wednesday evening (despite other places being dully booked!) Kids pizza- too big so consequently not cooked properly- all soggy and wet in the middle, ordered some chips on the side- they never turned up. £16 for chicken Kiev and mash, a reasonable price had it not tasted of cardboard and been served with cold mashed potatoes. Overall Completely underwhelmed with the service, lack of quality and price. Plenty of other places in town thar serve good fresh food and a really good price.

Normally have a good meal here however our most recent visit has made us not want to return , the Welsh beef burger was bland and tasteless. And the chicken Caesar salad had no sauce , chunks of lettuce and the chicken was clearly frozen...

Food was over priced and mediocre at best , the ceasars salad was sent back and was taken off the bill , the waitress and waiter were absolutely lovely which is the one good thing I can say about the place , the food we had there last month was really good which is why we returned , sadly we won't be going back again after this experience

The place looks lovely but we will not return unless the food and service majorly improves. Saturday early evening. New Menu awful hardly any choice, and the specials board was also limited as they didn't have the products. Prices OK so you'd expect this to be reflected in the quality of the food but sadly not. Leg of lamb was mainly fat and so overcooked it was tough, glad I had a starter (even though the cheese balls were tasteless) otherwise I would have been hungry. No good having nice presentation if the quality is dire, personally I'd rather have edible food. Food was tepid so again disappointing. A friend had the salad which was practically a bowl of lettuce with overcooked barely palatable chicken breast, no dressing and none available. Our other friends unfortunately did not have anything good to say about the food either. The wait for drinks was something else. I will add the serving staff we're all very pleasant and did try but the structure needs to be addressed along with the food quality and cooking skills.

Food nice would have liked to have dessert but service was slow when we requested desert noone came back to take order, not staff fault they were constantly busy but think more attention needs to be paid to how management organise service to tables and making of drinks/ bar ordering. Sunday lunch served minus the extra gravy and sauces, needed to go and find a waitress to request these. As said no issue with food and in fairness staff polite and freindly they just needed extra support

Five of us had Sunday lunch for a birthday. The restaurant itself is lovely and the food was good. Unfortunately the service wasn't the best. The restaurant was very quiet with just us and another three tables eating. There were three waiting staff but nothing...

Customer service non existent. Cold restaurant. Drinks order written down yet she managed to deliver the wrong drink. Our waitress didn't ask if everything was satisfactory . We didn't tip. Disappointed

I was so looking forward to my first visit......Chaos dont go!!!! Friday at 5pm ...glasses everywhere, tables and menus dirty .plastic flowers..fridge empty....staff dont know what they are doing ...a starter and a desert unavailable and thats heading into the weekend. Complained when i was there. Messaaged Neath and asked for contact details for head office ...message ignored . Had to contact Swansea branch twice before getting an email address .Emailed contact i was given and no response ... Who is running this place 👀 😳 Cant add photos for some reason .... Update 6/4/24 Emailed them in response to the welsh house asking me to and this was ignored too!! Shocking state of affairs !!!

I think some staff training might be in order. Front of house staff seemed a bit disorganised and not sure what was going on.

Food was good, we ordered the dragon roar and truffle hunter. I wouldn't recommend the dragon roar as it had piles of what I assume chilis, like enough to completely cover an A4 piece of paper. The truffle hunter was a basic garlicy pizza. Taste is good overall but wouldn't recommend the £36 we spent on it.

The food was really good! I had the macaroni cheese and it was the best I've ever tasted! The staff were great and really helpful.

Ordered pizza, cheesy chips and dough bites - the dough bites were meant to come with a sauce - they were rubbish on its own. Cheesy chips were fine - lot to say about the pizza, the delivery guy just of dropped the box as the pizza was a big mess and I couldn’t eat it very disappointing - all the toppings were falling off and i have a photo to show will put on Google reviews. Delivery driver didn’t apologise or let me know - he run off soon as he dropped it off.

I had delivery order of pizza, cheesy chips and dough bites Cheesy chips were fine - Dough bites were missing the sauce it comes with which made the side very dry and couldn’t eat them all. Pizza I am really annoyed, I spent lot of money on a meaty pizza for it to be delivery in an absolute mess. The delivery driver must of dropped it - will add photo if I can - The driver just run off quickly without saying anything and I didn’t get chance to ring up to complain as it was late. All the toppings had fallen off and it was inedible. I wanted to try this business for first time and I wished I didn’t Maybe the delivery guys fault but they should hire people who take care when delivering food.

Absolutely incredible, from our starters right the way through to us finishing our meal we were blown away, can’t thank the staff enough, Teresa looked after us all night and she was a delight. For the price it was well worth it, with me and my partner struggling to fit out the door afterwards as we had to finish our plates we will definitely be returning once we have managed to let our food this evening settle . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
