Beautiful atmosphere and decor. Cosy and quirky. Love the food. We had tapas and it was delicious. Good service. I am a regular customer here. Would highly recommend

Not so great this time round. It’s probably because we are here quite often and it’s always superb so there was eventually going to be a time it was average. Food was okay but not as good as it usually is. Does this place really need to be dog friendly?

Booked a table for 6, you have to leave your card details incase you don’t show and you get a £5 per person charge, understandable if they reserve a table and you don’t show they lose money. We turned up but was only 4 of us not the intended 6. First time visit I must add. We got shown to table no more information. We looked at menus and sat there waiting turns out you have to order at the bar (no problem we just didn’t know, wasn’t told) couple of our party orders burgers one was ordered with no tomato so two dishes came out, started to eat few moments later second two dishes came out was asked which was the burger with no tomato They had no idea. Turns out it was the one that came out first and we wasn’t informed went to wrong person and had already been started. The food its self was amazing very enjoyable, myself I had the pulled chicken in a mushroom and truffle sauce it was beautiful. After our meal and we left I received an email I had been charged £10 for a no show. The email said any problems contact the local lounge I rung the lounge on Sunday and was told to email head office ( they didn’t want to know). I emailed head office and as told I was charged £10 because only 4 of us turned up not the planned 6. My advice is if you’re planing a group booking and there is the slightest chance someone in your party may not turn up, go somewhere else. I’m annoyed because we where there we had food and drinks and yet still charged

Called in here on a Saturday afternoon, just for a coffee... Found the place so nice and the atmosphere good that we stopped for a small bite to eat. Food and drinks ordered and arrived in next to no time. Food prepared to perfection and very tasty. They have a scan and order facility where you scan a QR code on your mobile and order via your mobile, but I gave up with internet connection speeds and went to the counter to order. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will return when we're in Neath again.

Quirky decor and decent food for a chain restaurant

Visited today on a whim , place was bustling and busy with a good range of customers varying from ladies who lunch , mother and babies and couples like ourselves . The decor is lovely and welcoming and I imagine with the lights down in the evening very cozy . The table was shown to us and an explanation of how to order followed , we chose our meals and headed to the bar to order , this was done quickly and professionally by the young lady server. Food took a little longer than normal to come out but given the amount of people in there this was totally acceptable , food was well presented and hot , we were checked back by our server and an apology (un-needed) was given for the wait. Staff are friendly and helpful and we will definetly come again ❤️❤️

Highly disappointed with the quantity and quality of food considering the price range which suggests an expectation of some quality standard. I myself am a food critic based in London that writes articles on good food. This week I decided to travel to wales for a short break and whilst here wanted to try good recommended restaurants’ food. Cadno lounge was one of the many on my lists and I’m disappointed to say it was most certainly the worst, and will definitely not be recommending to anyone . The high price in food does not match the quality nor quantity.

Went today at 2pm couldn’t get in for a table for 3. So many empty tables that were reserved. Lots of customers walked away. Very poor service. Won’t be in a rush to go back!

Tried a visit again, the first visit was a awful experience, but that was then and this is now, what a better experience from service to the food. I had lamb flat bread which was delicious.

Expensive but nice environment if you like dogs sitting opposite you. Don't quite agree with "dog friendly" food establishments.

Stopped in here for brunch. Although there was quite a lot of people there were still plenty of tables free. You place your order at the bar. I had the lounge eggs (poached) with mushrooms, spinach and hollandaise sauce on top of a muffin. Delicious and reasonably priced too. Once order was placed it didn't take long for it to be served. Staff were friendly and efficient. Access was right off the street and WC was on the same level too, so if anyone in your party has mobility issues, no need to worry. Lots of other choices on the menu for any time of day. Veggie and vegan options available. Definitely recommend going here and I'll be back next time I'm in Neath. Thank you

Had a fabulous evening for my sisters 60th birthday. The staff were really friendly and efficient. Food was good and plenty of choice. The Briton Ferry choir was singing, all in all a great evening.

Lovely atmosphere. Really good food and drinks and hospitality spot on and attentive. No more expensive than anywhere else these days so not sure where other customers reviews are coming from. You would be charged the same for a KFC or McDonald's! I have been a couple of times and have not had any faults.

We came to Cadno Lounge for my Grandfather's birthday and our experience could not have been better! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed into their warm and cosy restaurant as if it were home. The restaurant itself is such a beautiful, eccentric environment to spend an evening The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and took great care when it came to handling one of our party members' allergies. Its nice to visit a place that takes allergies and intolerances so seriously without even having to ask! The food - oh my god, amazing! Their menu really does have something to suit everyone's tastes and is great for both quick bites and big meals. I recommend trying their tapas as it's seriously the best tapas I've ever had! No complaints to be had, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. They also have an incredible drinks menu, the espresso martinis are to die for! Would absolutely recommend Cadno Lounge to anyone looking for a great night out in Neath and I can't wait for our next visit

I was really excited to eat here for the first time, had lovely drinks but the food was very disappointing. My chicken came back pink and they refused to change it because it was cooked “to the right temperature” and I was obviously not eating pink bloody chicken🤦🏻‍♀️was not happy after spending and arm and a leg on my food!

A really nice addition to neath. Great food and atmosphere.....After 3 more visits food has now gone drastically down hill. Went 2 weeks ago and flat bread was not good. Visited again on the 23/11 and still not improved. I now consider it over priced and sub average food. Venue is nice and staff pleasant but not a place to eat.

My daughter treated me to Tapas here a couple of days ago. It was delicious. I've not been here before. Will definitely return and bring hubby with me next time.

Have visited a few times in the past and always enjoyed but today we were left extremely disappointed. Staff that served us at the table were rather sharp when we queried something, leaving us feeling uncomfortable. The food was poor - very, very small portions compared to normal, eggs were hard and completely unripe avocado used (so hard I couldn't even cut it!). We were still hungry when we left which isn't great, especially when the prices are on the more expensive side and you're expecting something better. Unfortunately will think twice about going again in the future.

Really enjoyed sharing vegan tapas with my partner lunchtime today. It was lovely to see so many vegan options on the tapas and main menus. Well presented and delicious. We'll definitely be returning.

One of those places that just goes way to fancy with food for no reason. Want a chocolate fudge cake? well here's a chocolate fudge cake with some random carrot tasting sauce on top. Want a drink? well here's a selection of stuff no one asked for. I get if that's you're kinda place. But if you just want some good tasting traditional food I don't think this is the place to go.

Lovely relaxed vibe in a nicely decorated setting. Always friendly staff and food always good. Nice place to pop in for a coffee too.

My first time going here lastnight, was modern and chilled inside which was lovely. Too over priced for me though, the drinks are ridiculously expensive and the food portion’s are very small considering the amount you pay, disappointing really.

Had tasty , tender buttermilk chicken with fries. The fries were not hot. It was very noisy but to be expected during school holidays

This is my 4th time here. 1st time all day breakfast appalling, better in weatherspoons at half the price. 2nd drinks ok 3rd time we had burgers average 4th on my wife's insistance on our wedding anniversary, drinks OK but you can't get anything wrong there. Food no coleslaw, your having extra salad, food came we got no salad. How do you think it's acceptable to supply food and fully charge for something that's not as advertised. Please can we have sauce and vinegar. Waitress just walked off. So my wife went to get the items. Worst place by far to eat in neath. £100 LIGHTER LEAVING BUT WILL NEVER RETURN. HOPEFULLY THE PEOPLE OF NEATH WILL SEE THE SAME SHORTLY AND THE DOORS CAN CLOSE FOR GOOD.

Utterly disappointing, food awful some items missing asked for an alternative told sorry run out of that too, still charged full price though. Staff disinterested and sullen, pulling faces when cleaning tables of departing customers. Totally disinterested in providing good serviceand good food. Will not be going again!!

First visit to this new Venue but was spoilt by a Child screaming the whole time we were there. Management didn't intervene despite the obvious discomfort of Customers. Had we realised it was going to be allowed to continue without managements interaction we wouldn't have stayed to Eat but we had already ordered and paid for our food. As it was it was very uncomfortable and distracting. The Family took little notice of the Child who obviously had problems and continued to Drink Alcohol seemingly oblivious to Customers discomfort. This is a Venue serving Alcohol to Adults so not suitable for screaming Children.

During a stay in Neath we went here every day! Lovely, quick, friendly service each time. Very easy ordering from the qr-code/website but I’m sure they’d have been fine at the bar too. Food was nicely cooked and well serviced. Decor was cheerful. Excellent GF and veg and vegan options.

A great place to eat in Neath, the menu is extensive and varied. Always great service and quick turn round with food.

I have visited Cadno Lounge twice now with the wife and overall impressions are excellent. The venue is located next door to the new Neath Leisure Centre. There is close parking via Neath multistory car park as well and it's a 2 minute walk away. The venue is excellent, very roomy inside with plenty of tables and seating and a lovely atmosphere. To order you either scan the QR code and order direct from your phone to table or you can speak to staff to order, the process is very easy. I ordered the tapa's board deal for £12.50 and had Sesame Satay Fired Chicken Wings, Honey Whipped Feta and Spicy Beef Quesadilla and it was fantastic and very tasty. The portion sizes are excellent and was just enough. The wife had a Beyond Meat Cheese Burger and that was a tasty meal that she enjoyed. I would highly recommend visiting this place as the food is great and is a lovely addition to Neath.

Popped in here after I dropped the wife at the train station I had brunch with was bacon egg sausage hash brown mushrooms toast with was lovely if not abit overpriced the staff was very friendly the place was clean and tidy will definitely be visiting again

Ordered the burger. Already eating half of the burger, I took another bite and bit into something hard. After removing from my mouth I realised I bit into a piece of plastic, which turned out to be the container of the burger sauce. I told the waitress of the situation and she was great, she gave me a full refund and a new burger. I took the burger home as my colleagues had already finished their food. As I was eating my new burger at home, I bit into the burger again to find another piece of plastic in my burger. I emailed and rang the restaurant with no response. This will be the last time I eat at Cadno Lounge.

A really lovely place, and great for Neath. My friend and I went here for brunch, the service is really quick and they have lots of seats inside and out. I love the decor of these chains! I had a full breakfast, and my friend had pancakes. I also had a peach kobler, which was absolutely delicious! Service is really quick, and you can pay and order at the table. Definitely recommend!

Staff are very friendly and helped my mum have the best day ever for her 77th birthday! Can I thank the ladies working behind the bar on the 3rd of June... who made our day by just being nice. My mum doesn't go out much but she loved her time in the lounge having a drink with me (her daughter) and granddaughter. Many thanks xx

Ordered Chicken Burger with Avocado and Bacon. We were a party of six, I ordered my food first before everyone else. Somehow received my food last , about ten minutes after my party. Went to complain , lady told me chicken takes longer to cook, one of my party had chicken she received her food ten minutes before me. When my food finally arrived the chicken inside the bun was thin and tiny. Some of my party had finished their food already before I had mine. I didn’t really want my food as I was so annoyed with the delay of my food. I actually went up to the bar for a refund , then my food arrived. I don’t expect to go out for a meal and have food ten minutes behind everyone else when I ordered the food first .

I am an American living in Wales. I have searched and searched for a burger that comes close to the American ones, and I have found it here. I get the Lounge bacon cheeseburger and it is perfect. I have been twice already and will return. Great food and excellent service.

The young staff are great, if lacking a bit of confidence. There is, what seems to be, a manageress who is very sharp, almost rude. Food is superb but would prefer table service and we had to clear our table ourselves. Not there yet.

We Visited here on 19/05/23, it's a new place in Neath and we were looking forward to the food as the menu looks fab. We were told to choose any table which we did, the middle of the lounge was great. We ordered food and drinks which were a glass of wine each a chicken flatbread and a Nasi Goreng which came to £40 (ordered on the app in the lounge by scanning the bar code). they wanted us to leave a tip during pre-payment before any service or food was delivered which we declined and thought we would leave a tip for the service and food we received before leaving, I thought that was a bit cheeky. The chicken flatbread was very disappointing, with very little chicken and a flatbread which was very hard around the outer inch, the Nasi Goreng was quite tasty. The disappointing thing about this lounge was the number of dogs in there, firstly I have an allergy to dog fur and a family came in with a dog and sat right next to us so we had to move (dog takes precedence), they were sitting on the couches etc and at least 5 dogs inside. Dogs are not hygienic nor should they be in an eating establishment. We did not leave a tip, we had to move seats after ordering and getting our drinks and it's quite clearly a dog owners' retreat. We will not return because of the dogs but good luck, why not just call it the canine cafe?

Visited twice in the past few weeks. On the first occasion our food was lovely but our waitress was very dismissive and rude. Basically threw our food down without asking if we needed anything else and just walked off. To the point where we felt...

Love these restaurants.... staff great food slightly different to menu ie dishes very hot... but biggest issue volume of music far to loud

A beautifully decorated restaurant with lots of floor space so there's no squeezing around people already sat down, and it's dog-friendly too. We found the waiting staff to be friendly and efficient. Our main courses were beautifully presented and very enjoyable, though none of them were exactly what was listed on the menu!... but the desserts really let the place down - the churros were undercooked and hadn't been anywhere near the cinnamon-sugar requested. The sticky-toffee pudding wasn't nearly warm enough, even being cold in the middle, and the baked doughnut with ice-cream and compote was hard and crunchy (more biscuit than doughnut!)!! We ate them rather than waste them as they're not cheap and they ultimately were edible (and the waiting staff were busy serving others so we decided against complaining), but they definitely could've been better. Would I return?.. Honestly, no, because there were too many mistakes made for the prices charged.

A lovely addition to Neath. I've been to Zinco in Swansea and was impressed, so we had high expectaion for Cadno. The decor and layout of the restaurant is stunning, well suited or the brand. We arrived lunch time and were lucky enough to get seated straight away. The guy who sat us at the table was really friendly and helpful. The menu had good choices. We ordered through the app but I wish I had done so at the counter. I didn't realise the kids menu was separate so ordered the side dish macaroni cheese and not the kids. the kids meal should have come with garlic bread but it didn't arrive with the food,when we questioned it with the waitress she said it wasn't ordered. She said she would still get us some which she did at no extra cost. Really appreciative of that and great customer service!
