Cardiff No. 1 Live Music Venue. The live gigs here are just exceptional!! The crowd is great and full of life. A must visit in Wales.

Really good atmosphere with the live band, I would ask the venue to redesign toilet access when the place in rammed it's difficult to get to toilets safely. Two of our party were bumped into as some idiots fell down the stairs

The beer selection at the bar was limited, it would be nice to have some cash ales rather than keg and maybe have some local beers too.

Brilliant place for some drinks and dancing if you like live music good atmosphere and drinks are very reasonable for Cardiff service and staff friendly all good.

Had our Xmas party here, the food and staff were great. We did have an issue with some of the other customers but this is no fault of the venue's.

Went there after the game . Place was packed .. and such a great energy Wales had lost (sorry chaps).. but their welcome and their cheer was obvious The live music was brilliant!

After being in the bar most of the evening I came outside the smoking area for a few minutes the bouncer would not let me back inside although he was happily letting other girls in that entrance 🙄, he told me I'd have to go to the front and queue back up. I couldn't contact my friends all my things were inside. By the time I had queued back up and got back in they had gone to look for me so I had to walk home, no phone, no money . Absolutely disgusting

To enjoy local drinks before a match or before a match at the stadium

Fantastic place to visit for residents and visitors, been twice now both times the live music has been fantastic. Would highly recommend for poeple to atleast have a pint.

Popped in around 9.30 on a Saturday night to see the live band. Greeted by 4 security staff pinning a guy on the floor and then escorting him out. Understand they can't control customers but perhaps could have been handled better and should they have let someone in there in that drunken state firstly? Live band came on and singing was very bad, for a key performance and peek time, these guys didn't cut it off the mustard. Less singing and more shouting down the mic. Left after 2 songs and drinks being poured from mezzanine level on to us. Could have been a bad night but, not give me any enthusiasm to return soon.

Got kicked out for hugging a friend, apparently I was dealing drugs. Searched me and found nothing, still got pushed out. Yikessssss

Amazing bands on at the weekends. Always a place me and my friends go to and tend to stay at as the atmosphere is so good! Prices on drinks aint to bad neither, especially their offers. A great size and location.

Live music for the whole family

Awful place wish I could give it zero. Small venue which was overcrowded also ridiculous toilets up steep stairs. Won’t be back!

Get staff behind the bar who can understand the Welsh accent. Got thrown out becuse the waitress ballsed up my order twice. How can you confuse a pint if carling with a bacardi and then charge you 24 quid and throw you out. Then she involves the bouncers. Very pissed off that the barmaid lied because she was crap at her job. Bouncer was OK but said no matter what he had to believe the staff.

It's the place to be in Cardiff.

Ideal place to eat before the big games at the Principality Stadium.

Great venue with live music all night long. Drinks are good price and lots of good offers on. Food is a bit hit and miss but there are plenty of options on the menu.

Staff are great particularly Rory who was very helpful and efficient behind the bar. The down side was the live music which was terrible and out of date, also the toilets were very old and not that clean!

Had a good lunch. The hotdogs were especially delicious and the ambience was lovely. Like to call out the good service of Kirk. He was very patient in explaining to us the menu sets as well as the wide varieties of beer available. All in a delightful experience.

Visited Thursday. Great live music, decent beer, lively mid evening. Went back midnight quieter but music volume still maxed, suggest turning down a bit when bar quieter.

Considering it was an international weekend, the wait at the bar was super short, great atmosphere as always, and bouncers were right on it. Which is a strange thing to say I know but it was busy and a few drinks had by all, but they were not kicking off just subtle and keep the place rocking. Defo recommend.

Never eaten there, doubt if I will now. . Shocking service recently a Friday night , bar staff sexist and ageist. Disrespectful and sexist bouncer, thought he was God's gift to women, asking me to return with a finger come here. I don't drink and don't come to anyone's beckon call, whoever you are . Doubt I will be back for a long time, customer service training needed on all accounts especially with bar etiquette!

Great place, good location and always a lively atmosphere, i just can't cope with how many people they let in, i'd honestly rather go to jail for a month than que at the bar here for a round, then trying to escape back through the crowd with a full drink is another mission

One of the best live music venues in Cardiff. Gets busy quickly so I’d recommend getting in early if you want a table or seat.

It's a great place on a night out. If you love live and loud music, this is the place for you. Service was ok, but it was very busy and the staff were trying to serve so many people. Unfortunately, Wheel chair access maybe abit of an issue due to so many different levels around the place. The toilets are also upstairs. The door staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere felt like going to a gig. It's worth a visit.

Popped in for lunch but decided to just have a drink and leave because the place smelled like a public toilet.

if your looking for a dance then this place is for you not really my scene though as beer is way too expensive

Amazing Atmosphere Brilliantl place too meet people

I’ve been here numerous times and it’s absolutely fab!! Great music and everything else that comes with it!! However, had a bad experience today with one of the male bar staff. Whilst by the bar, He asked “anyone waiting” so I shouted “yes me” as I was waving my arms so he would see me… he then gave me this look and abruptly said “ I’m asking these ladies” these ladies were indeed in front of him, but they were deep in conversation with one another and didn’t hear him, also one of these already were served. I know this as they were in the same party as myself! He was shouting at me for simply replying to his question! He was well out of order! He asked anyone waiting and I replied yes me! For some reason this infuriated him, clearly in the wrong job!

Sat in the Brew House as I write this. Just bought a pint of peroni and a double vodka diet coke. As the coke came out it was practically see through. My wife and I both tasted it. It was awful. Told the barman , he pulled some coke off a different pump and said it was ok and wasn't going to change it. When he pulled it off the pump he served me from he admitted it had gone. He could see what he was serving at the time . No apologies just trying to make out I was being awkward. Been here a lot in the past. This is the last time.

We had a fantastic time the music was definitely for every age and the band that was playing was amazing.
