What a fantastic yacht club visited for the wales v irland Rugby game, lovely welcome, the club is so clean and well run throughout, half time presented a buitibull beef curry delicious and cooked by the freindly Hillary (thank you hilary), the barstaff Dawn Mollie and Dave work so hard and are fab fun😁, conservitory,upstairs with panoramic veiws of the marina,car park outside,beer gardens etc, visit swansea yacht club, you won't be disappointed..Carol and gary

Had a Christmas dinner here and it was beautiful. Friendly staff . Very nice place .

ordered the stew and was disgusting, but luckily the cocktail that the wonderful izzy made for me, totally made up for it, i hope when i return she is on shift!

Firstly you don't have to be a member to visit the swansea yacht club, everyone is welcome and if you enjoy you can then apply to become a member at a very reasonable price that gives you discounted drinks and meals. The awansea yacht club is run to perfection, the meals are gorgeous thanks to Danny Lucy etc, the manager lucy is such a friendly lady, the staff are all so welcoming and fun, mollie Dawn and the gang, and then there's the funny and charming Morgan who everyone loves, the club is immaculate, clean, and warm, check out the events and special deals with meals, plenty car parking, buitiful views both upstairs and down, and a conservatory with views that your dogs are welcome, overall a lovely experience.. visit and you will love it and return as we did..carol and Gary..

New Chef. New menu. So far I have tried the - Sharing fish platter. Fish of the day. Sunday Roast. Belly pork in honey mustard sauce and vegetables. The food here is stunning. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Fresh local produce, cooked to the highest standard.

Lucy served fantastic food was absolutely mouth watering melt in the mouth beef dinner plenty on the plate definitely recommend if you haven't been go now while this chef is there

I live in Swansea Marina and have had food in multiple different places while living here. There is a new chef in The Yacht Club Swansea. My honest review…. Wow! I had a take out meal last week (Salmon in a creamy lemon and dill sauce). I had this boxed to go and even after a few hours (and after taking it home to microwave) this dish was still absolutely stunning. Full of richness and flavours. I more than enjoyed this particular dish. I will score it 10/10 and will review after each new dish I try

This is a quick reveiw to say the new kitchen in this club has totally transformed the meals omg just had a Sunday roast, best iv ever tasted in a club, pub, or restaurant, everything so fresh and hot and the beef cuts through like butter, had a breakfast recently, so good along with the weekday meals, all staff so nice, this is such a well run establishment, please try the food now as the improvement is huge..gaz,caz..

The new menu at this yacht club is such an improvement with home made cooking etc, try them you won't be disappointed, delicious experience, Lucy new manager have improves the kitchen so much, the bar staff are amazing and so helpdull and fun, always creating a wonderful atmosphere, Molly is so good at her job and so nice to talk to and helpful, Abbi is so much fun with a lovely personality, imo fab along with Dawn Harrison izi and jacob, you can't fault any of them, molly can organise any event as the club has a downstairs function room with a bar etc, upstairs there's buitiful views of the marina and the yachts, the ground floor is spacious, and the conservatory has a lovely view and invites dogs, ample car parking alongside, and a beer garden, plus the club is immaculate in the smooth running and cleanliness, thanks to Lucy, Molly, Abbi, Dawn imo ,and all the lovely staff working at this unique yacht club, visitors welcome, take a visit and you'll love the experience..Carol and Gary ..

Lovely atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks lovely food

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Veg all undercooked and cold. Went here for Sunday lunch to wait 55-60 minutes for the first 3 dinners to come out then additional 15-20 minutes for the other 3 dinners. All the veg and gravy came ready on the plate which to be fair was a good size portion if it had been edible. £3 extra for a “bowl” of roast potatoes which had 3 small potatoes.. extremely disappointing . Worst dinner I have ever had.

I ordered salmon from specials and unfortunately it was unedible ...it looked like it's been frozen for 100 years and then microwaved till it was hard ..it was so hard..samon shouldbe soft and flaky and fall off....I couldn't est it...what a shame..also old potatoes and cold peas...

A lot of steps everywhere within so unless they have another entrance not suitable for wheelchair users

Visited on Friday for a quick lunch waited 35 minutes after ordering to find that order hadn't gone through waited another 20 minutes food arrived Turkey and ham pie with chips and peas . The food was cold and poor. My cousin complained and refused to pay. I was charged,there was no further action on their part to rectify their poor service,will not be visiting again!!!

The food came was warm waiting for dessert took nearly 1 hour

myself and 9 friends went to yacht club sat afnoon for food , was nice enough and the new waitress that started that day was lovely,the only down side was we were overcharged , the manager was not overly sorry and had bit of an attitude with us which has put my friends off going again

We visit the club regularly and everyone is always so friendly. We held a wake for our grandmother here and it lovely.. the food.. the staff.. the care and attention.. couldn't of asked for more.

My first visit here. Nice small club/pub. Good selection of snacks and meals available. I had curry which was nice. There was a singer on upstairs which was good. Lovely view of the boats on the marina. Clean toilets, parking available, staff were nice enough. Not many customers there on the night I went. Good night though

Love this place, it's so well run, simon(manager) is so professional and kind, such a nice guy and very approachable, the food is lovely, compliments to chefs Dai and Chris, the bar staff brilliant, Alice is so funny, only prob an arsenal fan, ha only joking, lovely person, Molly again such a lovely polite girl, and always there for any enquiry, Oscar, fantastic guy, Imo fab, and the ever smiling lovely Abbie, what a fantastic team, function room downstairs perfect for a booked occasion, upstairs overlooking the marina, yaghts and kilvey Hill, large car park alongside, visit this yayght club in swansea and you definitely won't be disappointed, credit to Simon and his wonderful team..Gary and Carol x

Nice cosy feel indoors and lovely view of the Dock from outside. A little pricey if your not a member but understandable. Interesting menu and quite a few upcoming activities organised. Would recommend 👍.

I have visited this club and I fount the staff very helpful the food good value and the quality very good, the prices fair and not expensive and the atmosphere very friendly All set with an amazing backdrop of the harbour and maritime quarter what else do you want

Great views of the river marina and ever improving dock/Riverside, very nice staff, well set out inside and outside, good choice of drinks at very reasonable prices . The food looks great too! We've been here a few times, it just keeps it's character while improving, we will definitely return soon!

Swansea Yacht & Sub Aqua Club has rhe best value pontoon berths that includes electricity & water anywhere that I know, for vessels less than 42ft Hull Length & less than 10 tons weight. Vessels less than 22ft, however, can have pontoon berths for slightly less at the Council run Swansea Marina, I believe, but only on the smaller pontoons there, without electricity. Potential Berth holders have to live within a 25 mile radius of the club Marina to be eligible to apply for a berth. Only one lock needs to be negotiated to access the sea. Diesel & Petrol available nearby at Swansea Marina. Unfortunately, there is no Chandlery nearby since Force 4 closed recently & there are limited boat repair services on site. The beautiful Gower Coast is nearby.

We are visiting yachtsman and we came tonight for the roast beef dinner. The food was very good. I would recommend it.

Excellent and a bit tucked away , the food is brilliant and great value for money

Stopped off spur of the moment for some food and drinks. Had built myself up for great things. Went to the bar to order the food, to be told no fish, chicken or sausage were available. The person taking the order declared things were slow, and to wait a possible 40 minutes for food. Undeterred we ordered some food from the basket and sat at a table outside. The food came quicker than expected, 15 minutes. My wife had to settle for some scampi instead of a burger. We had paid a pound each for cheese. I looked inside my burger, there was no cheese inside. On notifying the bar staff, the chef brought out two slices of cheese on a plate. These I doubt must of cost 10p each. The chips looked like they had come out of the microwave having been left cold, the burger and scampi were not good either but edible. We will not be stopping here again for food, drinks only as the place as got a nice view

Service not good food poor and expensive beer was awful

This is a lovely place to eat, drink and watch the boats. Popped in for Sunday lunch as we'd had this a few times last year and it was to be recommended. However not sure why but today's beef dinner didn't live up to what we were expecting. Understand that things have been tough and prices needed to be increased and maybe there's a supply chain problem but the quality of ingredients was dramatically lower with one slice of beef. Much of the other ingredients were from frozen. Would have given feed back there and then but no one asked. The club was quiet and this is maybe why. Hope things pick up as I said earlier its a lovely place.

Starters were cold and steaks were gristly. Sat at table for nearly an hour, we then found a staff member who said you need to order at the bar, she didn’t even apologise. Finally so disappointed to find the wrong food was served to us. Staff were so unhelpful. AVOID

Went for the Saturday night steak special and after waiting for 50 minutes our food was ordered and when it arrived it was not correct. We told the waitress and she was rude and said that is what we had ordered and claimed to have no more steaks to cook. What we ordered was a ‘rare steak’. The staff, including the manager were arrogant, rude and unfortunately, we will NOT be returning!

I try to visit the club when I am in the Swansea area as the location is superb and the club itself welcoming and non pretentious. However on my recent visit I was shocked by the price, in particular, of non alcoholic drinks. I ordered a jacket potato, tuna, mayonnaise and red onion ( although the red onion was missing) and a glass of lemonade with a dash of lime. The jacket was just shy of £6.00 ( quite acceptable) but the lemonade was £3.40 and dash of lime £0.60. Considering 2 litres of lemonade in Asda is £0.40 I consider the current price in the club unacceptable. I will continue to support the club whenever possible but unless the price of soft drinks becomes more realistic I'll stick to a meal and possibly tap water.

We arrived for drinks, and were welcomed warmly. Our table was waiting with Christmas crackers. The main course arrived, the food was hot, very tasty,and plenty of it. Everyone enjoyed their deserts.overall excellent value for money. We retired downstairs for coffee in some comfy chairs. Simon and his staff friendly polite and helpful.couldn’t have more the accasion More enjoyable. We will be back. Teresa.

I visited as a guest, i think its a members only club. Food was excellent, very good price and seated upstairs with a view over the marina makes for excellent location. There is a balcony for when the weather is suitable as well.

Lovely place down by the harbour. Reasonable prices, great service and a lovely large balcony to watch the lights twinkle amongst the boats.

Just recently joined this club as we have been going back and fore for a few months so decided to join as loved it every time, food is lovely and staff pleasant, love the glass balcony looking over the marina, would definitely recommend.

Oh dear. Things started off well but the bar/waiting staff need training and the chef/cook needs to be sacked.. couldn't cook the most basic of foods. It's a shame because it has a great outlook and the prices are good.

Incredibly good value, good solid range of pub staples on the menu made well, good service, a cosy atmosphere, ale stored at a good temperature - what more could you ask for? Hits all the marks needed for a five-star review. Bonus marks for giving you a really good quality vanilla ice cream with desserts rather than the tasteless stuff you get in most places. Will definitely be visiting more often!

Booked in for Sunday lunch at 2pm on a wed afternoon. Arrived at 13.45. was shown to our table and was told a waitress would be up shortly to takeout orders. 40mins later no show of any waitress to take our order. We had to go down to the bar and get our own drinks. We returned to our table to which a waitress finally arrived to finally take our order. We said we were going outside for a cigarette on return our drinks had gone from our table. The food was cold and tasteless. I would never recommend anyone to eat at this club. Disgusting service and food.
