Harvester in Swansea

The resturant is usless. I ordered food for delivery, it was delivered 2hrs late and was missing items and stone cold. I spoke to the store and they told me it was waiting in the resturant for over an hour after cooking before being sent for delivery. The manager agreed to call the delivery and orginised a refund and promised to call back, this was lie and I never recieved a call back. They did not care once they had my money.

Skye our waitress was very helpful and the festive pulled turkey burger was delicious.🎄🍔. Five star ⭐ service.

We arrived at the Morfa Harvester in Swansea at about 10.30, and we're seated immediately. Skye was extremely pleasant and after seating us asked what we'd like to drink. Having a dietary issue with milk I asked if there was a possibility of oat milk, and whereas usually I'm told no, or that it will cost extra, Skye told me that it wouldn't be a problem. She arrived back promptly with our coffees and took our breakfast orders - a classic breakfast, and a vegan breakfast, and we were asked what bread we'd like for our toast. (She also told us she'd be back with our bowls for the salad, promptly realising it was breakfast we'd ordered - we all had a little chuckle at that! 🤭😅) In almost no time our breakfasts arrived and we tucked in. Very tasty, beans came in a little bowl, always appreciated as it stops the food being soggy. Both eggs - fried and poached - were cooked well with no sign of being even a little undercooked as I have found in other establishments, hash browns were not so crispy that they did a "Pretty Woman snail moment (flying across the restaurant because they are overcooked), both lots of sausages, standard and vegan were lovely, and the vegetable fingers on the vegan breakfast is a nice addition. Kudos to Dai - who was the chef. Refills of our coffees were readily offered, and accepted as the coffee really was very nice All in all a very enjoyable morning of food, and we were not made to feel rushed in any way. We have visited Harvester in Morfa Swansea Skye was very patient pleasant and helpful She explained all about allergies as we have cheese 🧀 intolerance , Skye explained the alternative we can have jacket potato and mushy peas! Great half roared chicken best meal I had here!! We will be back soon

We have not been for a while but had a voucher for my wife's birthday, so the young staff that dealt with us, were outstanding, very polite and helpful. The salad bar was it's usual, very tasty and fresh. Then it goes downhill, fast... We ordered rib eye steaks, when they eventually came, my steak was swimming in its juices, not a massive problem, I asked for a new plate and moved my food onto it, then started to eat. Unfortunately..the peas were cold the grilled tomato was cold the mushroom was cold The best thing on the plate were the bland tasting chips. Overall very disappointed.

OK, it's not nouvelle cuisine, but we had a lovely, relaxed meal here, the food was tasty and good value, the restaurant is clean with a nice ambience, and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. It's been a while since I have been to a Harvester (we went more often when our children weren't adults), but I look forward to coming back here again soon.

Called in for a quick steak 4 days ago and had the best ribeye I’d had in Swansea in years! Cooked by Chef Dai to perfection it was absolutely beautiful, so good that we’ve just called in again for another one! Cant recommend enough and thanks to Dai and all the staff at Harvester Morfa.

We go to morfa harvester regularly but after yesterdays meal never again. The service was really slow despite it being empty. The chicken i had was black burnt and dry inside. The peas were still frozen and the mushroom was black. The waitress that seen to us was lovely she asked if we wanted a new meal but we waited long enough for that one. We wont be returning here.

Feels quite 'tired', salad bar does not seem to be that fresh - I'm sure it's all fine but feels a little drab. Food was decent, selection of sauces is great to be fair. Service was decent although a bit of a wait during a lunch time meal. It used to be cheap at Harvester but for a family of four, it's quite expensive now and there is a lot more choice out there for this price point.

Edited September 2024: Service has really gone downhill. Appreciate it being busy but staff were rude and service very slow. Took a table at the bar that didn't get cleared for at least 15 minutes.

Always made welcome by friendly and efficient staff. Food and drinks provide excellent value for money. Family friendly.

Yes the food was excellent the salad cart was brilliant also,and the drinks also helped. The service at the Restaurant was 10 out of 10.We had a 2 course meal,and that was a meal and a dessert 🍰. We would ask people to try this first before spending to much money on other parts of the menu. We gave the Harvester morfa in Swansea 5 star's so if you want good food and good service this is the place too go.

I found this place accidentally, The staff were super friendly and helpful. Also we were there following an open day at the university and people were more than happy to discuss the local area. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Will definitely go again.

Visit for my daughter's birthday, 8 of us including grandchildren. Had a lovely time staff and food was great was very busy but couldn't fault the place .😋👍

I am incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at Harvester Morfa. Despite the restaurant not being busy at all, the place was poorly managed. Zoe, our waitress, was absolutely lovely and did her best, but she was left on her own for far too long. When other staff finally showed up, they were of no help to her at all. One of them came across quite rude as I’d asked for an orange juice with no ice, a customer had called him over and he responds to them quite harshly ‘one sec’. 20 minutes after ordering food, I was told there were no veggie sausages—why wasn't I informed sooner? After waiting 40 minutes, the meals arrived cold and pathetic. On top of that, I specifically asked for beans with my mother’s scrambled eggs, and they weren’t even on the plate. To make matters worse, I saw the chefs standing around chatting while customers were waiting for their food. I am just furious that after being there close to an hour we had no food, only drinks which are again extremely overpriced. Overall, I was very disappointed with this visit. Harvester Morfa needs to improve its service coordination and food quality if they expect customers to return.

Very delicious fast food, they have an all-you-can-eat salad buffet, good atmosphere. I didn't like the price, the drinks were expensive and they didn't apply midday menus when applying other discounts, without warning.

We visited Harvester Morfa Parc as we often do on a Monday evening and as usual we weren't disappointed. This time we were a party of 4 adults and one five year old. The salad bar was well stocked and our meals were delicious. We were served by Skye who was very friendly and polite and that made our experience even better.

We had a lovely impromptu evening meal out as a family. Liam was our server and he was so attentive, super friendly and a real pleasure to be around. This is the second time we have visited this location purely because of how friendly the team are and how good the food is. Really enjoyed and we’ll certainly be back.

Best service both pre and post match. Have to compliment the chef on the best coleslaw on my stack I have ever had in my life! So creamy and delicious. It was like heaven on a plate. I will be returning as soon as possible to indulge my fantasy.

Lunch with family. Was immediately seated in my favourite area in the back of the restaurant by the famous salad bar. Zoe was an absolutely wonderful host. She was friendly, cheerful, and really made our visit special. She put us completely at ease and I loved her sense of humour. Harvester needs more stars like her! The food was also delicious and cooked to a really high standard.

Great family friendly pub. Full of life. Paul was a gent from the moment we entered. Made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to return!

I've not been to Harvester for a long time, but had a BLC offer so thought why not. I will say, the staff were great and really attentive. However, food wasn't great - had I paid full price for my order I'd have been really disappointed. Considering you can get a better meal for cheaper at a sizzler, Harvester really lacks in quality. My meal was meant to be £17.99, the chicken breast was smaller than my hand. The salad bar was OK, I only had one small bowl as I didn't really fancy any of it. Safe to say, I will most likely never go back. I didn't even take any pics!

There was no need to book a late afternoon visit to Harvester Morfa. The food was excellent as always from the salad bar, the starters to the main meals. There was a long delay between starter and main with no real reason as the restaurant was quieter than normal however, the food was just as good.

Very disappointed in our meals when visiting. The waitress was lovely and tried to help resolve our issue, but not a positive visit. Our first query was that our salad didn't contain buckwheat which was listed, after a query to the kitchen we were told that they didn't have any. We then queried why our salads were missing the other 3 items also listed. They had these ingredients but didn't add to them to our dish. They offered to remake them but we were on a time schedule due to appointments and didn't have time to wait for them to be remade. The two salads were taken off the bill and we weren't charged.

The mixed grill was awful mushroom all dried up and due to medical reasons some stuff we couldn't have so we got a side of onion rings which were cold.

Terrible breakfast cold and undercooked

I booked a table for 2 for 1pm on August 1st. We were welcomed and served by Zoe, who was pleasant, and very helpful. On paying the bill, I mentioned to a member of the bar staff that the quality of our meals was first class as was the waitress service. I gave a tip to the waitress and was told that the chef was Dai. Full marks to both in providing us with a very pleasant experience in a cool restaurant on a very warm day. Diolch yn fawr! Had a chicken and rib combo delivered, it was delicious-my only complaint is there was no salad delivered even though I requested it- had the same the following week but with the salad which is not the same as in store but no chicken gravy. this may sound petty but if it is advertised then it should arrive. wont bother ordering from here again as they cannot seem to get it right

Zoe our waitress was amazing. She was very accommodating. Unfortunately there was no chicken breast or ice cream available today and only vegan custard. All in all our meals were lovely. Everyone enjoyed.

Conveniently located in Morfa Shopping Park close to the banks of the River Tawe, the Harvester Morfa Parc is the perfect place to sit back and relax after a long day of retail therapy at Morfa Shopping Park, watching a match at Liberty Stadium. The girl who attended to us is a star went above and beyond for us. Place was very clean, open and a nice breeze. Staff were very attentive, enagaging, polite and great with the kids. Food was amazing.

Excellent customer service by Skye at the Swansea Morfa store. In particular because of her attention to detail with my food allergies. She explained the processes in detail and I felt re-assured. Skye is a real asset to the team.

don’t go here if you’re expecting fast service 🥲 we booked for 6:45 did not get seated until 7:10 nobody came to take our drink orders or bring bowls for another half an hour. when they eventually did they brought us no cutlery. we were sat in the restaurant in total for over an hour before our food was brought out. lucky i had a voucher bc i wouldn’t be paying full price for this.

Came for breakfast and ordered the classic full English with a rump steak. Sion the chef cooked our steaks to absolute perfection. We went for rare and medium rare and they were incredible. The eggs were also perfect... No burned bits on the bottom or slime on top, just perfect fried eggs with a runny yolk. A big thanks to our server Zoe, who checked in regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. You guys have a very friendly and welcoming team there. I also have been in alone a few times for a glass of wine whilst waiting for my partner to finish work. I have always felt safe and welcomed by the team. A massive thanks and congratulations to you all. 🎉

Morfa parc harvester is an absolutely fantastic restaurant to dine, the staff are all committed to their jobs. Big shout out to "ZOE, SKYE, LIAM, ETHAN & MICHAEL", fantastic staff 👏 who go out of the way to make sure your dining 🍽 experience is 💯 %.
