The best restaurants serving British food in South Wales

I’ve never left a review before but this was too dreadful not too! Horrendous customer service after we ordered over £90 worth of food, delivery driver delivered food to the wrong address with nothing to let us know it had been delivered! When calling to request a refund I was told that I’d made a mistake and to double check with my house and that I should’ve contacted them earlier (even though we waited the allocated delivery time -1hr) We were then hung up on by a member of the team whilst we were attempting to claim our money back 2 hours after our delivery with no food! If I could leave a lower review I would! I suggest no one risks wasting any money on this terrible/rude business!

Los esfuerzos que han hecho para proporcionar un ambiente festivo increíble se complementan con la calidad y la presentación del almuerzo de Pavo Festivo. Todos los aspectos pendientes. Gran personal, gran lugar y buena comida!

Had a lovely lunch on Friday 7 March. The food was delicious and hot also the bar person her name was kath was so lovely and her manners was impeccable a credit to you team .and service was exceptionally. I will definitely be back.

Seguimiento de la revisión anterior. Después de una conversación con Zoey después de mi revisión anterior decidimos darle otra oportunidad al Hollybush. Hoy el desayuno fue ejemplar. Zoey y Lisa un crédito a la compañía. Comida caliente. Bacon cocinado a la perfección. Huevo muy bonito. NO nadar en grasa Pudín negro cocinado. Chef diferente. Una Señora que obviamente sabe cocinar no como la visita anterior un Hombre que no sabía cocinar. Agradable visita disfrutada por todos. Esperamos con interés la próxima visita el jueves 19. Had a lovely meal, Ellen looked after us and she was brilliant. Beautiful place and wonderful food. Excellent service

Very friendly pub , friendly staff and nice toilets and it’s clean and well lit. The food was good and hot and tasty the only downside was they seemed to be a bit short staffed which meant it was slow service but the staff were very apologetic and nice so it didn’t go down that badly.

Used to be a reasonable 3 course Sunday lunch for £19.95. Now £20.95 for just two courses. The beef supplier needs changing as tough as hell. Couldn't cut it and chewy. Last year there was a big hike on drinks prices this year its the food.

Second time we have visited, very good portions and were happy to swap out items for fussy people like myself. Comfortable with friendly staff and decent ingredients. Great place for a pit stop on a cold day.

Visited yesterday for Father's Day. Waited 1hr 20 mins for food and ended up walking out. Asked staff twice where our food was, but the Waiting Staff were disorganised and dismissive. No-one came over to inform us if there were delays with the food, and they were still accepting walk-ins up to 3:45pm, when booked customers still hadn't been served. A very disappointing experience for my Dad and the whole family. The food is normally excellent, it's the customer service and complete lack of organisation, notably on a Sunday and at peak times, that lets the place down. Waiting Staff should be allocated to specific tables to ensure customers are served promptly or advised of any delays. Also, some training in managing customer complaints wouldn't go amiss, instead of rude stares and no feedback. Won't be frequenting on a Sunday and peak times again.

From the moment I rang with my hamper enquiry, advice and additions....to the lovely text sent to let me know of delivery... fabulous customer service. I was sending this time but have had the pleasure of receiving a hamper too...delicious products.

So after having a family meal at Las Iguanas we came here for a quick drink before heading on somewhere else.The place was packed, yet we found a good table in a relatively quiet corner. We got drinks and I found the staff quick to serve us, it was service with a smile and the staff were friendly and welcoming.We only stopped for the one but this is a place that is return to during the day time.

Really nice place the food was outstanding ham egg and chips I had and not one complaint it was delicious not to mention the friendly atmosphere and the all the staff were great and couldn’t be of more help. Great locations upmarket venue and clean will certainly be returning.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast here this week. I’ve actually been a few times and it’s always been good. The service feels like whomever is hiring or training the staff, really wants them to care about their customers. Both of us enjoyed our eggs benedict and watermelon iced tea. The eggs were perfect and runny. Yum. We noticed that there is a happy hour with cocktails, so we might try that next time!

Though not far from the busier parts of Swansea this is in a semi rural area. It is a quality training venue with good staff and good atmosphere
