Thomas Restaurant in Cardiff

Thomas dealt with our group of 14 demanding women for afternoon tea extremely well! Easy to park, spacious and comfortable inside, we spent a very pleasant couple of hours here. Staff were as friendly and helpful as could be both when booking and on the day. Allergies and dietary requirements were accurately catered for which is greatly appreciated. There were generous portions, beautiful fresh scones and some delicious little cakes. The Welsh elements were a nice addition - who doesn't love a Welsh cake?! The sandwiches were quite large - more like 3 finger! Unlimited hot drinks - although not a sexy selection of teas as you might find elsewhere. But you can overlook that when as it is such good value at £19. Thanks to everyone 😁

We stayed at the Future Inn for 3 nights and during that time had 2 evening meals here plus breakfast on the last day. The restaurant is excellent and the food is very tasty and not too ridiculously priced to say it's a hotel. It's very nicely done inside and kept clean. Definitely try this!

If you want an excellent tasting meal, with great service at a very reasonable price, then this is your place. The waiting staff were friendly, prompt and attentive. The meal surpassed all expectations, perfectly cooked and presented and wonderfully tasting.

I did contact Thomas before leaving this review.. But received no reply.. Evening meal was very expensive for what it was; and I felt it was reheated! .. yet starters took over 1 hr; in a quiet restaurant We initially only ordered soup and nachos! .. Main I had ‘Ribs’ were basically that; ribs and chips. No sides. Gutted!! But the breakfast was A1..

The food was really good, even got the pickiest of eaters child wise. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We were served by a lovely lady called hanyeh. She was so understanding, friendly and helpful. She was a credit to any team and we wish her all the luck in the world.

Good Sunday lunch and dessert and staff went out over their way to accommodate us with grand child Ahmed waiter especially helpful

We had breakfast for the 4 days we stayed at Future Inns Hotel in Cardiff. The staff were amazing, welcoming and warm especially Ahmed and Abdul. They always made sure we had everything we needed. The service was great with attention to detail. We will definitely visit the restaurant again. Thanks to you Ahmed and Abdul for the warm welcome

The staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive, served by Ahmed and Abdul, they were helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The food … we first had the Sunday roast , size was plenty big enough and reasonable price for the quantity, the meat was excellently cooked, the roast parsnip and potatoes were done to perfection,and a huge nicely cooked Yorkshire pudding. Sadly for me the other veg let it down, the mash swede was mashed with what appeared and tasted to be pepper corns, of which I can not tolerate pepper so one small mouthful was more than enough, the cauliflower cheese came separately and was cold hard cauliflower with cold congealed cheese on, inedible! Such a shame.. I n comparison. The breakfast we had there was amazing, we had one full cooked and one continental, the cooked was all cooked to perfection, great tasting quality ingredients and as much as you could eat, Continental was also a huge selection of cereal, cold cheese and meats, yoghurts, toast, and Danish pastries, croissants of all kinds, and all perfect So again couldn’t fault there breakfasts

Food ok, very slow service, waited over half an hour for starters, bit expensive, supposed to be short staffed, but as it was in the hotel would have thought they would have been fully staffed.

This is same as packet or cupasoup, unbelievably lazy, chef adds black pepper but didn't fool me. Don't even go there folks.

We travelled to Cardiff from Kent for a family reunion. A meal was arranged at this restaurant which was fantastic and the staff great. When we returned home a letter was waiting to tell me I had received a Parking Charge Notice of £100. I appealed, saying that due to a misunderstanding, I failed to register my vehicle and in addition I had a Blue Disabled Badge. This appeal failed. I contacted the restaurant and they sorted this out! A big thank you to Konsuela Komolibija, Front of House Manager.

We only ate here on one occasion for an evening meal. We chose the steak and this was cooked fine but the meat had a lot of gristle in it. It was a typical mid-range hotel meal, nothing special.

Probably the worst breakfast ever. Preordered dry overcooked, barely warm English brekkie, sausage like cardboard, dry mushrooms, Luke warm overcooked fried egg, lukewarm coffee. Yes I did complain before we left.

Thomas Bar and Restaurant is second to none. All staff are friendly and deserve a pat on the back for all the hard work they put in to making your visit an enjoyable one and the food thoroughly delicious. Particularly the extra work they are putting in since reopening. I will be back to see you all soon

All staff friendly and polite, service quick and the food was hot and tasty, a good breakfast to finish to our visit to this hotel

We had an early pretheatre meal in the Thomas restaurant. I had the chicken cesaer salad, my friend had the fish and chips. Very well presented good quality food.

A very warm welcome from first Ellis, and then Simon, a fantastic array of cocktails, and a lovely atmosphere in the bar..There was a set menu and an al a carte menu, so a vast choice of Welsh based dishes....There was no pressure to choose one’s meal, everything was very leisurely.....my husband had the Welsh lamb stew with sour dough bread and cheese which he said was fabulous. I had a starter portion of Welsh mussels with bacon, served in a white wine and cream sauce.....together with sour dough bread.....truly a vast portion for a starter.....The atmosphere was great, thanks to both Simon and Ellis, again nothing was too much trouble.....we both truly enjoyed our evening, and are looking forward to breakfast tomorrow, plus a light snack, before going to see the WNO’s new production of Carmen...for all opera lovers, this is a great and truly convenient place to stay with unexpected previously mentioned luxuries...

As the restaurant is located within and services the Future Inn Hotel in Cardiff Bay it was quite quiet on a wet Saturday night in winter. All the better for that IMO.The staff were very attentive and service was excellent. Our meals were very flavoursome and rich and our party of four had a really excellent time.This restaurant might easily slip under your radar being part of a quite modest hotel group but believe me, you should look past this as the standard was very high. Also has a smart well stocked bar area for pre and post dinner drinks again with friendly staff.I thoroughly recommend the Thomas Restaurant & Bar and will be returning soon.

As we were staying in the hotel we thought we would use the restaurant for dinner due to poor weather.We chose the Valentine set menu!The cocktail was nice. The soup was tasty and my husband had the beef which he said was lacking in flavour. The guinea fowl mains were enjoyable, the mash was very creamy. For dessert the macaroons were yummy. The waiter was professional and courteous. Overall a pleasant visit on a stormy weekend.

You might be thinking, “ok so it looks really nice but it’s just a chain hotel restaurant?”. I too felt like this previously when thinking about chain hotel restaurants. They certainly have never been somewhere I have considered eating before but this is where Thomas Restaurant is different. They use local produce throughout the menu and make everything fresh onsite. Even the bread is homemade.The food was absolutely fantastic, I really can’t rate this place enough. The staff were amazing and the restaurant itself is decorated really nicely. It’s definitely somewhere I will be visiting again! In fact we already have plans to try their Sunday roast!

Family were heading to the Millennium Centre for a show, so we ate here prior. Food was enjoyable, came out quickly, and the three courses for £20 was great value.

No suelo ir a esta zona de Cardiff, pero cuando me acerqué y vi las luces brillantes (¡era Navidad!) Me sorprendió lo eficaz que era. El hotel se mostró instantáneamente cálido y acogedor, con decoraciones festivas de buen gusto y un personal amable en la recepción. Hay una zona de bar que conduce al restaurante, con modernas pinturas colgantes que agregan un toque de vitalidad al espacio.Fui por el calamar crujiente para comenzar. Honestamente puedo decir mi compañero de comedor (¡mi madre!) Y estuve de acuerdo en que este fue el mejor calamares que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo. Suave por dentro con una capa ligera y súper crujiente, era mucho más, especialmente combinado con ese agradable toque de limón y una patada de la mayonesa picante.Por mi parte, obtuve el rib eye, servido con tomates de la herencia, cebolla roja asada, sabrosas papas fritas y acompañamiento de champiñones para compartir (¡realmente los recomiendo!), Así como una pequeña ensalada. Recientemente llevé a mi madre a tomar el té de la tarde en el restaurante y bar Thomas. Mi madre no tiene gluten ni trigo (lo cual puede ser una pesadilla) y no he visto muchos lugares que lo hagan. Reservamos una mesa para el almuerzo del domingo, que no debimos haber molestado ya que solo otra familia comió en el restaurante cuando estuvimos allí. Había un menú fijo, con una fuente de sopa o antipasto como entrante; plato de asado o plato vegetariano para los platos principales; y un plato para compartir de postre. La carne asada era de buena calidad, pero algunos de los acompañamientos eran un poco raros: chirivías empanadas y relleno apenas cocinado. El plato de postres fue un buen toque, ya que disfrutamos de tener trozos más pequeños de diferentes postres como brownies, panna cotta y tarta de queso para probar. En general, absolutamente bien para el rango de precios y el servicio en todo fue muy bueno.

En general, nos gusta este lugar para entrar y comer algo. Fuimos la noche anterior y pedí un plato principal, pescado y papas fritas. La primera sorpresa fue el tamaño de la porción: dos pequeños rollos de merluza cocidos en masa. El pescado era bastante gomoso también, así que no es la experiencia muy buena que hemos tenido anteriormente. Mi esposa originalmente quería el salmón, pero no había ninguno disponible. Decepcionante visita en esta ocasión.

Me alojé en el Future Inn, y fue una noche lluviosa, así que decidí comer en Thomas's, que es parte del hotel. Agradable restaurante relajado y los 2 camareros eran amables y serviciales. Restaurante perforado muy por encima de las expectativas. Booked dinner to find an empty restaurant on arrival. Stood at the desk for 5-10 minutes expecting to be greeted while two members of staff stood behind the bar looking over but doing nothing. After 10 minutes we gave up.

So nice to visit as a non resident of the hotel. Well prepared and constant top of the buffet food. Excellent front staff and super friendly Chef Howard. Will come again and try lunch next time !!

Otra gran comida de Navidad. Estaba un poco preocupado de reservar nuestro almuerzo de Navidad este año, pensé que nunca podría superar el año pasado. Eso solo hizo eso. Comida y servicio excelente de nuevo. 11 de nosotros reservamos y teníamos una selección de comidas todas fueron fantásticas. Reserve de nuevo el próximo año por tercer año consecutivo.

Considering it is associated to the future Inn hotel I was very surprised to see the great prices. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff very informative and friendly.

Had breakfast and dinner here whilst staying at the Future Inn. Breakfast had a fairly good choice but found it a little pricey at £12 a head. Had I booked the evening before it would have been £10! The dinner menu had a good choice and the meal was enjoyable. The staff were extrememy good and all in all it was a very pleasant evening.

We ate dinner here twice since the restaurant was near our hotel. We tried several Welsh or Welsh-inspired menu items and the food was tasty. Thought the prices were reasonable.

Used this Thomas Restaurant located inside the Atlantic Wharf Future Inns Hotel during a work trip to Cardiff. It was perfect for my business meeting. WiFi was excellent to connect laptops and service very good. Coffee is excellent and comes with a complimentary mini-muffin. All round good spot.

Nuestra cena fue en el restaurante elegante y sirve cordero galés magnífico (por supuesto! Las opciones del menú) y excelente con camareros educados y serviciales. Sin duda ayudado a dar por lo que a nosotros respecta este futuro inn y Thomas restaurante 5 estrellas. El desayuno era un festín y una excelente relación calidad-precio. Bueno ver 100% productos locales que se ofrecen.

Muy agradable para comer, para el almuerzo y la cena. Precios no está mal, y una buena selección de vinos. Además hay aparcamiento gratuito.

Visité este lugar debido al hecho de que fue con lluvia y bucketing otros restaurantes lejanos de interpolación (Dragon Centre) hubiera visto nosotros ahogados.

We met friends here for a Sunday dinner, and it was lovely! It's a good venue, down the bay and as parking is included it's really easy to get to. The food is really nice, and I enjoyed it. If you struggle to get into the other carveries in Cardiff, give this hidden little gem a try.

The food was ok, the service was ok, not cheap so it's really quite expensive for what they serve up.Seem to think they are offering more than they actually are.It's just a typical hotel,restaurant nothing more.

Nothing good to say sadly. Food is pretentious and expensive and not worth it at all. We left hungry after 3 courses!

Excellent selection of food. Son had Cawl and said it was one of the best he had eaten. Well presented food and hot.

Have eaten in here on many occasion whilst staying at the hotel and have never been disappointed. This latest stop was no exception.They have added a specials menu which has added a few more choices. Delicious salmon starter and the steaks I have had here have been better than some more up market places in Cardiff I have eaten at.I fairly compact menu but has a good choice that means most people should be able to find something to suit their taste buds. A few Welsh dishes to add into the mix as well as more run of the mill burgers and pies.There aren't many fishes choices though and for me that is one thing I would like to see a little more of.Staff are always attentive and add to an enjoyable experience would thoroughly recommend eating here.

Great food to be had in this restaurant, staff excellent and willing to ensure you have a good experience

They stopped the Sunday carvery a little while ago. Such a shame! There is now a 'special menu' - £9.95 for 2 courses, £12.95 for 3 - still good value. After settling in with a nice pint, Double Dragon, I ordered the soup and the chicken burger. Although the soup was clearly labelled as a starter they both came together. The main was taken away again but how could they? The soup needed a fair amount of salt & pepper but the toast that came with it was great. It tasted as if it had come off a charcoal grill. The burger, hardly Sunday lunch fare but tasty enough, came with a couple of nice dips and enough chips so that I could not finish them all. There was some kind of pop music playing but it was sufficiently muted not to be obtrusive. I suppose if it had been Mozart I would have asked for it to be turned up!

Plentiful and lovely food. The flagging of traditional Welsh cuisine was a great option and gave you the opportunity to try something that was new.

Have a fantastic breakfast here every time we stay at the Future Inn Cardiff. Completely self service buffet and you can eat as much as you like. The food is always excellent and the staff are polite and efficient. Had a Sunday lunch carvery on Easter weekend and again the food was excellent, hot and delicious. Very good value for money.

My food was very good. I was staying at the hotel so I ordered room service from there. The food was very tasty and the service was quick. It's always very busy.

the restaurant does have a limited menu but fresh and cooked to order. not very busy but relaxing and good service.

Although a friend had recommended this place I had not been until the family decided to go for Sunday lunch. We were warmly welcomed and the waitress explained that it would be buffet style. Once we sat down we were handed menus and our drinks orders taken. The choice was quite simple - 2 or 3 courses for very reasonable set prices, and either roast beef or turkey for the mains. The meat was carved in front of us and it seems you can opt for small or large helpings. Vegetable and gravy and/or sauces are then help yourself. I had mainly beef, which was tender and succulent and cooked just right for me - looking well done on the outside but medium to medium rare inside. Having decided to skip starters we chose our desserts, the best of which was undoubtedly apple pie and cream. Everything was very tasty, in a nice atmosphere, and I will go again. I hear that the breakfasts and daily lunches are good too.

Had food here Saturday afternoon before heading to the theatre and I must say that we we are impressed with the food. Our steaks were cooked just the way we like and the only reason we had to wait for our desert was because it was freshly made up.

Unfortunately our lunchtime burgers were undercooked and we did not have time to wait for more before we went to the match,so had a panini instead. Our Valentines evening dinner was spoilt when the lamb was served very under cooked and the steak was not cooked well done as requested. We were told there would be no charge for the main courses, we would not have paid for them anyway.

We stayed 2 nights and the breakfasts were amazing!I had the welsh lamb one night and it was gorgeous.

We were staying at the Futures Inn and as it was raining decided to use the hotel restaurant. We were very pleased that we did as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal - service was excellent.

As we were staying at the Future Inn Cardiff,we decided to have our evening meal at the Thomas restaurant,the meal was fantastic and such good service,I would highly recommend it.

Food was good and reasonably priced. Our waitress was lovely nothing was too much trouble. Good choice on menu and comfortable surroundings.

Whilst staying at the Future Inn we used the in-house restaurant and was very pleased with the choices (and prices) available. They also do an excellent breakfast.

I had dinner here whilst staying at the Future Inn. It was extremely quiet, which was nice as a sole traveller just wanting to have a quick bite to eat after travelling all day!I had the Cawl, which is Welsh lamb stew. It was very nice and tender, but served in quite a small dish. I also had to wait 5 minutes to find a waiter, as they had forgotten to give me a spoon. Decent meal, nothing special.

We were staying at the Future Inn and on our first night thought we would eat at the Thomas, as its in the Hotel. Very attentive service from the staff and also very good with the children and making little changes to the dishes they wanted.Thought the menu was very good with reasonable prices for a hotel restaurant. Wine choice was not extensive but ok and again reasonably priced.We all really enjoyed our food, I especially enjoyed the Lamb Rump. My only moan the Buffalo Chicken sauce was way way to hot for me. I would have preferred it as a side so then I could decide how much I wanted, rather than having chef decide he knows my taste buds. Only a minor grip on an otherwise lovely meal.

The restaurant has improved no end over recent stays. The hotel has managed to introduce a casual ambience by separating it from the bar area. The food offer has also altered for the better, providing excellent value for money. Whereas previously I might have looked elsewhere for an evening meal, there is no reason to leave the hotel.

Very good quality food for a hotel. The steaks are superb as was the breakfast - were everything was freshly prepared.

Opted for what we thought would be a quick dinner since we were staying in the hotel. Service was friendly but slow. Food was just ok. Welsh rarebit portion size was small but my husband enjoyed his burger. The sticky toffee pudding was outstanding though. My advise is to skip dinner and go straight to dessert.

Had a Caesar salad. Not. It was very small indeed with one lettuce leaf. The chef must have worked very hard putting this on the plate. I have to say it spoilt our lunch somewhat. But we will not go again, better go to Miller and Carted across the road.

The menu is quite reasonable and varied but a few items were not available on a quiet wednesday evening. The food was ok in general but the room was cold - too much air conditioning and this was the same last time I went here - if you like to be cold then this is for you. Drinks are pricey but as it is a hotel maybe expected?. Service was again alright but nothing special - a complaint we had was contested when an irish coffee came as a cup of white coffee - and they argued. But they did then put it right and said they put a double in it for us!! The room is bright and airy and looks lovely so they should do better as the venue is nice. I would eat here again .....

We had (father and son) one dinner and four time breakfast at the Thomas restaurant. Dinner was okay, even for these 2 no meat eaters. But the menu is rather limited for no meat eaters, so we couldn't dine another day. Perhaps add a vegetarian dish to the menu.

Booking the buffet breakfast in advance will save you around £3. The food is good and generally hot. Unusually the toast is put in a tray which works OK and the fried eggs are also put in a tray which does not work so well.There is a good choice and provides a good start to the day,

The Hotel is located in Cardiff Bay and their free car park is accessed via the Cinema Complex, so this can be alittle confusing but it is worth it. The Hotel is light and airy and I attended a Business Networking Lunch in one of the function rooms and the service and food was excellent. For a purpose built hotel the function room was bright and there were no pillars to restrict your view of any presentations that were taking place.Lovely food too

Food is excellent, staff attentive and friendly. Menu is small but everything was delicious. Good atmosphere. Went there 3 times while staying at the Future Inn and each time was enjoyable.

I was staying at the hotel as a conference delegate and we held a conference dinner at the hotel. The food was excellent and the atmosphere provided very good indeed.

Nice meal, good service but limited menu and a bit expensive for some items. Could get noisy at times as bar area is incorporated within the resteurant. Breakfast extensive but expensive if you don't have a big appetite but it was open very early.

Arrived after the normal lunch time but the chef was still prepared to prepare us a Welsh Lamb meal which was good. Service was friendly and helpful.

We ate in this restaurant once, it was very clean and the staff were extremely nice and very friendly. The menu was slightly limited but had a fantastic range for children. Service was efficient and the food was tasty but some items were slightly pricey. They did offer room service but we didn't use that service. If I came again I would probably chose to eat in the Bay or maybe order room service.

Came out of the cinema and tried all the food places to eat at The Red Dragon Centre - Full up despite there was plenty of table free on Friday evening before 8 pm! Last resort was go back to the hotel and it was empty and enjoyed our meal there and all we had to do get the lift to our room.

As we were staying at the Future Inn we thought we would take advantage of the restaurant. The manager who escorted us to the table was efficient and polite. Service was pretty good. The first courses were "ok" nothing special. The problem came, and the reason I can only rate this as poor was with my wife's dinner. She ordered the lamb which came with tomato and chick pea. The problem was it was all cold. My wife really could not eat it. She sent it back and the poor manager was truly horrified and really apologetic. It was returned, and was a bit warmer but certainly not hot and the tomato and chick pea was still luke warm. My wife could not eat it and the manager took it away. Out of fairness to the restaurant they did not charge for the lamb dinner and we appreciated their gesture. If the restaurant has been really busy we could appreciate the slip up but there was no more than 16 people in the restaurant.

Lunch time menu limited..only sandwiches available and sides of chips ....needed Baked pots..etc.....Breakfast amazing.....

Catered efficiently for both party and couples alike. The local Welsh dishes are well worth trying and there is excellent variety of international style cuisine.

We were staying at the Future Inn and decided to eat here rather than brave the cold weather outside. Service was quick and friendly and there was a good choice of options on the menu including some Welsh classics. Everything is well priced for the portions that you get and I would eat here again if in the area.

Very good breakfast ..but is quite pricey compared to some places , however it is all you can eat..didn't eat on our last visit to the bay but have before, staff always helpful and friendly would like to try the evening menu on next visit.

Popped in for a quick Monday evening meal. We were very pleased with the service and the food. Can recommend the bread and olive started with sun dried tomato butter and bread. Very impressed as Monday evenings are often hit and miss. We will be going back.

With plenty of restaurants nearby the temptation for many guests must be too go for a stroll into the bay for a meal with a view, but that would be to miss out on the reasonably priced, tasty options available at Thomas

We really didn't have a lot of option to dine here due to weather time kiddies , it was only eight o clock and we ordered however THEN they decided to tell us what wasn't on the menu so we had to decide again quickly and we were disappointed food was basically frozen, food was not the same as in description and just lacked ... Love not sure but very basic. Told the waitress she didn't look bothered and didn't ask if there was anything she could do to make it better... Advice don't bother

I was greeted by a young gentleman manager who's name was ''Dan'' or ''Daniel'' I ordered the duck breast with a side of new potatoes, my wife ordered the bowl of stew, just beautiful. We were looked after throughout by ''Dan'' who delivered us exemplary customer service, the only thing we could fault was the sunlight shining directly through the windows slightly blinding us.

My expectations weren't too high given it's a hotel restaurant but I was very impressed. Friendly staff, excellent service, food very well presented, tasty and excellent value. Good selection of wine by the glass. Highly recommended. Atmosphere not great and setting a little cold, but it was quick and easy and fitted my schedule as I was alone. Good hotel with a good restaurant. A rarity. I'd definitely return here. Far better in every regard than the "fancy" steak house directly opposite.

The venue is an airy hotel restaurant. They food was good service a little slow but in general Good. The rating goes from average to ver good I would like to give it a good! Defnitely would eat there again.

We decided after meaning to try Thomas restaurant for ages to go for the Saturday after Valentines Day. So we had the Valentines menu. 4 courses (1 being amuse bouche) and glass of prosecco£30 per person.The amuse bouche was ok, melon with a bit of bacon in. For main Hubby chose the surf and turf. I chose the pork. Hubby's steak was to die for and prawns delicious. My pork came generously accompanied by lovely perfectly cooked broccoli, cauli, roast potatoes, black pudding and apple sauce. It was delicious. Our deserts were also perfect.It was very quiet when we visited I think many Cardiff residents are missing a trick here with the great restaurant. Service was superb couldn't fault it.

It had been about 3 years since we last ate here and this time we went for Sunday lunch which turned out to be a carvery (this didn't used to be the case). There was a choice of beef or gammon and a good selection of nice vegetables. We both had the beef which was cooked medium but was quite tender and tasty. The peas were done in cream and made a nice change, the cauliflower cheese was also pleasant and the roast parsnips were lovely. The boiled carrots and roast potatoes however, were just average. For me the gravy let it down as this was a bit "gloopy" as it had been standing on a warming plate and had developed an off-putting skin. That said, it tasted ok! It was quite late in the afternoon so there were only 2 tables in (including us) and the atmosphere was consequently sadly lacking. In addition, we were sat by the hot and cold serving area and the fridge compressor was unbearably loud! All in all we thought it was good value (£9.95 for 2 courses), but had lost a bit in all areas since we were last there.

Menu is good choice. Food excellent. Service great. Only bug bear and it's only a small one is that bar does not have extensive choice.

Dinners are standard UK pub fare with generous portions. The self-serve breakfast is very good, and the bar offers pleasant surroundings for a quiet afternoon beer.

The restaurant was busy all weekend and on the Saturday they were fully booked until 9pm which was too late for us. When we ate there on the Friday the food was well cooked and well presented and the service attentive. Prices were reasonable. Breakfast was good too, a wide selection from the buffet, particularly tasty bacon!

This is a restaurant in the Future Inn Cardiff Bay. It was very quiet when we visited and as a result a little like eating at a Service Station the food however was pleasant without being exceptional. If you are visiting the area don't cross this off your list but I am sure there must be more inspiring venues in Cardiff.
