Absolutely fantastic, aimee the the manger was fantastic, food was fantastic. Guess what!! It was fantastic

The staff were very friendly. For the second week in a row the salad bar options were very limited compared to other harvesters I have been to and much of it was quite tired and stale looking. My biggest issue was that my rib eye steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out rare. Staff were (again lovely) but very busy so I couldn’t catch anyone’s eye, in the end I ate around the steak. When the server came to check my meal she apologised and offered to replace my meal but I didn’t have time. The price of my meal was waived but really I’d have preferred to eat a good meal. I paid for the wine which had tasted more sour than the previous week. All in all not the best experience but I appreciate how short staffed the team seemed to be (people queuing out of the door). I probably wouldn’t recommend this particular branch again.

Toilet roll dispenser ripped off the wall no toilet rolls alternatives I was left wanting for tissues to wipe my arse why I have to beg someone in the next cubicle to throw over some toilet paper then come out off the cubicle to find semi used tiolet rolls on a radiator i know these so called hourly toilet check are not done in this place

Worst experience ever. My wife ordered chicken strips with sauce, to our surprize the food was couple days old. The sauce was watery and definitely not fresh, onions were at least days old. Also asked if the food is not spicy, they brought strips with added chilli bits on top. I kindly asked manager to refund or replace, manager was arrogant and ignored my request. At the end of the day we left it as there was no point in arguing, but the mood was ruined. To the bosses of the restaurant the dining took place 5th of October around 1pm. Avoid this place if you can! If I could I would leave zero stars!

Popped in early, no booking, yesterday evening for some food. We were quickly shown to a table. Our Server Caitlin came over very soon afterwards and took our drinks order and looked after us throughout. I have to say how nice and genuinely friendly she was without being over the top as is the case often these days. The food was bought to us in a reasonable time and was as good as could be expected. This Harvester is pretty close for us and we will definitely return and recommend.

To Sian, Extremely kind and helpful, lovely and humorous. From grace, the youngest and fussy one on the table by the salad bar and water and ice despenser.

How times have changed, been coming to the restaurant on and off with family and friends for 30 years celebrating birthdays, special occasions or for a treat. In recent years the place is looking incredibly run down, dingy and untidy. Lights don't work, walls have paper and paint peeling off and don't get me started on the toilets, absolutely vile with the floor sinking. The service here has been incredibly poor over the past 5 years, slow service, staff to busy on their phones or talking to eachother near the kitchen about their daily lives rather than serving customers, actually heard two of the staff arguing with eachother about when one of them could finish and leave to pick up their kids. Then on more than a few occasions running out of food items like steak and chicken at 7pm on a week day! turning the coffee machine off at 7.30pm but still serving coffee to a regular who's sat in the corner reading newspapers after said time. Food is okay but lacking the portion sizes it used to be, the salad bar is very hit and miss with stuff mostly not being replenished or having to ask a someone if they will. All these issues coupled with your new price increases on your menu where most meals have gone up around 20% I think is disgraceful. There are far better alternatives for eating out without any of these problems at a more affordable price and for that reason I won't be back. Such a shame harvester! You were once a great family restaurant but no more.

Airways great value when you get their app. Sometimes you can get 40% off mains. With the unlimited salad and bread... What's not to love. Some to all the staff. They had a lot of time for us. It made a difference.

Food okay, desperately needs a refurb

Food was great. Staff were friendly. The place needs a bit of a re-vamp - it's a bit rundown.

Our server Kayleigh was amazing, we went for my sisters 18th birthday and she was amazing, joking with us and still serving other tables effortlessly. The food was amazing as always and we will definitely be back again.

Delivery time kept getting delayed. It saying delivery at restaurant but i rang them and they said the order was ready but they were waiting for a driver. When my food did arrive it was cold and ended up.in bin . Chicken luke warm and cold

A lovely meal made even better by amazing service from Sian. Only downside was the small portion size for the half chicken dinner but apart from that food was nice.

Very good service, right off the offset - Liv who saw us to our table was very understanding of our special requests and very helpful throughout. Tiffany, our server, was lovely and very helpful as well; even though it was a very busy evening and she had plenty of tables to wait herself, she was brilliant throughout. Not to mention the food was fantastic (highly recommend the Bird, Surf and Turf!) and wait times were minimal - definitely recommend.

Food was lovely. Staff were very over worked as it was very busy. They all looked like they need to take 5 minutes. Place was clean and tidy. The only thing I’ll say is we waited awhile to be seated as there didn’t seem to be anyone specific to greet us as everyone was so busy.

Dan was absolutely fantastic with the hard work and effort he has shown and I never came across a more hard work worker before, he shows passion for the restaurant and it’s customers and spoke politely and was overall amazing.

We were taken care of by Sian who was attentive without being overbearing and was warm and friendly. Salad bar was great as always but was low on sauces at the time. Food was its usual standard, my son loved his ‘dirty one’ burger. Apple pie wasn’t great but the waffle was. We used a 40% off voucher so it was a bargain evening out.

We were well looked after by Sophia. I had my usual, simply chicken which comes with a baked potato and my wife had the Mediterranean tart. I know it has been a while since we last came to Harvester and could not help noticing that whilst prices might have gone up, but, the size of the chicken breast was definitely smaller. My wife found that the tart she had was difficult to cut and the vegetables in the tart had something like what tasted like couscous as well as the vegetables. However, we enjoyed our food . Wife and I always enjoy Harvester’s as enjoy our salad with the meal.  We find the staff helpful and the restaurant ambiance just right. Would definitely recommend Harvesters.

Only gave 3 stars as once again i was given peri chicken, which is way to spicy for me, thats why i always irder bbq, also only had 5 minute cracker jack prawns not worth money, not going to order again as dont like the fact you may get inedible food

Slow service, often visiting Harvester’s this has to be the worst one. Thinking maybe it was a one off after first visit, but now being the second time nothings changed, food is of a poor quality not matching the other branches.

Came over from hotel for a bit of breakfast for 9:20 just for them to not be ready, when we walked in they said the kitchen isn't even open and doors were supposed to be locked. Disappointing.

Friendly staff and quick service. Lost a star due to not having one of the vegetarian meals available. Adequate parking which is usually 60% full. A pleasurable visit anytime.

Staff were great Restaurant could now do with painting or refreshing. Food was very good.

Quite a poor meal @ over £40 for 2 mains 1 cider & 1 j2o. I will not use a Harvester again.

We had takeaway, it's more limited than the main menu, which was annoying, but OK.

Served by Kate, lovely and helpful and never to much bother to call over for help. Had fish ans chip and I have to say, it was spot on!! Not over cooked nor greasy. Compliments to the chef jake. Keep up the good work 👏 What I like the most is, the staff remembered regulars/ customer dietary/ allergies that I over heard. It's the little things that count. Thank you guys, I enjoyed the whole experience. I will return !

I’d like to thank Olivia and amazing team for putting on a small wedding reception for me and my husband who is very ill. I was overwhelmed with the hospitality and kindness they showed us and the flowers and card and champagne from the team. It couldn’t have gone any better. I only gave short notice and it was done perfectly for us. We also went the following week for my daughter’s 18th birthday which again was all perfect. The meals were amazing and the staff were once again great so thankyou Team Harvester I’m sure we will be back soon x

Was shown to a table and order taken quite quickly. The food when it arrived was delicious. You are given a bowl to take to the salad bar and help yourself. A large choice was waiting including potato salad, coronation coleslaw, tomatoes, cucumbers, beetroot, bacon pieces, lettuce and much more too numerous to remember

Only two/three staff working . Was busy so quite a long wait to be seated & then ordered . Long wait - didn't matter too much as not in a rush just felt for the team. Food nice - some items cool in temperature but enjoyed ( just didn't eat those bits) Coffee not warm either. Would go back as a great selection - few tweaks needed though.

Me and my partner went here the other night, and what a let done it was. First off, the salad bar, which i used to enjoy, was messy, and half the salad was empty. Then, We waited an hour and 20 minutes for our meal. Can understand if it was really busy, but watching others arrive after us getting their food was annoying. After food, we waited 40 minutes for any staff, who seemed to have disappeared, leaving empty tables full of plates. We had to go and find someone to oder the dessert. 2 hours and 20 minutes it took for us to have our food. The half roast chicken I ordered was more like a Robin than a chicken.

The main was nice, the ice cream sundae was very watery , bland. The restaurant itself was dirty, food all over the floor, sticky table etc. No coffee/tea were available after the meal as they'd turned the machines off, this was 8 pm! We were told they start closing down that time in the evening, very disappointing. Wouldn't go there again. Very poor service.

Salad bar was the best bit of our night even if we had to wait a while for the bowls to be provided and the salad to be refilled, steak was cooked wrong, multiple items were forgotten and had to be asked for, waiting time was long and food came out luke warm at best, staff were rude and hard to flag down. Definitely gone downhill throughout the years

Absolutely awful experience! Rude staff, cold food, unacceptable waiting times. Will definitely not return! Cardiff bay Harvister is better by far!

Not happy with todays service I’m not one to usually moan about anything but by god I would not recommend after attending here today with friends. I appreciate a place being busy I can truly understand there will be waiting times. However after ordering waited nearly an hour for our food to which tables who arrived after us were getting there plates on tables before us. When we did eventually get our food most of it other than the peas was either ice cold or Luke warm. We also were missing 5 plus things from the stuff we ordered and had to ask at least 4 times to which we were told each side would be an extra waiting time as they forgot stuff we ordered. Like I said wouldn’t usually complain about stuff or leave a review but for a meal that came to £130 for four us you would expect a bit of a better standard will not be returning in future
