Thank you for a wonderful lunch and service best around for Harvester. Daniel and another young lady served our table. TABLE 16 7TH APRIL 1pm. Gave our two girls crayons and drawing. Helped us with nut allergy. Even put fruit for children in take away bowls. Daniel is a credit to your service team and needs to be promoted in management absolutely 5 star service and just professional and pleasant couldn't do enough. Food was cooked to perfection and salad bar filled up and cleaned. Great harvester food and service. Only area to state needs improving is garden area for summer dinning get this place a little refurb x

A really busy small Harvesters, but the service was good as was the food. I only had a classic burger, but it was nicely prepared. The salad bar was well stocked. There is outdoor eating spaces and a large free car park.

Went for lunch today and was met with very friendly service and good food. Carly, who served us, was excellent overall and very accommodating with my daughter keeping her entertained providing warm, personable and professional hospitality.

Lovely meal - service was lovely from Kate, and food (cooked by Gareth) was great. Best Beer Battered Halloumi I've had!

I would like to commend Sophia. On a busy Easter Sunday, she took the trouble to make sure we got what we wanted. There was a problem with the bill - we were ordering from the set menu but the bill was totalled up from the main menu. When we checked this and pointed it out, it was out right with a smile and an apology- got talking to other customers and in the end really enjoyed the family atmosphere. So much food we got two take out boxes (and something for the cat!£

Best Harvester for service we have experienced.

We come here to catch up with a group of friends and celebrate something. Our server Callum was lovely and attentive and did really well on his 1st night - credit to the staff training him that night

needs an update. Booked a table, no chicken. Ordered too good to go and they didn't have that either

The food and service were really good. The table was dirty when we arrived, unfortunately, which was a slight letdown at the beginning of the service. But I would definitely come back again to enjoy with the family.

Had a booked a table to come here yesterday for my birthday we arrived ordered food and drink and to then be told we can’t have what we ordered because they were out of chicken bare in mind it was only 1pm and most of the items on the menu contain chicken just think it was ridiculous to run out of chicken less than 3 hours into service when most of your menu contains chicken will definitely not be coming to this harvester again really poor service as well as my mum asked to substitute the chicken they didn’t have for something else and the waiter was just rude and said we should order something else when the only things on the menu that’s not l chicken which was pretty much only burger or salad which no one wanted we then went to the establishment down Cardiff bay I much better recommend it as it’s much better service and they actually have the food next time when you run out of food so early you should 86 the item and cross it off the menu instead of wasting peoples time will never waste my time here again will go to the bay establishment where it has better food and service

We came here first time and will be our last. On arrival, bar man came to seat us rather than the waiters. A young lady saw us put our hand up but ignore us. Asked the other lady for refills as my mum was thirsty. My mum had to get up to get the glasses as it has been 6-7 minutes after we asked for the glasses the staff were just standing at the time doing nothing. We ordered food , got told only 1 rib eye left, we understand that stock runs out but you’d think harvest branches would have more stock. Salad bar was practically old stock and there was nothing left. We had to complain to the guy direct to refill then he told the waiters they need to keep an eye on the stock. Bread rolls were stale and cold and they ran out and didn’t refill them. Even as I write this 7:40 still not refilled and they ran out at 6:30. Now finally food, all fries were sooo salty. My friend was sat on another table even complained their food was salty. I always finish my food as a foodie, I always get fish and chips from harvest in the bay but oh my god Idk how anyone can mess up fish chips that badly. Honestly it’s really shame this branch really need works but maybe that’s why it’s dead. Won’t be returning again. Batter on fish was dry and the fish was just bad. Some Steaks were over cooked and nachos was crap compared to the Cardiff bay. Honestly we all love chips but Jesus these were so salty. Lady was lovely and service was better towards the end with dessert but food wasn’t great

We went to Harvester a few weeks ago and the atmosphere there was lovely! We were served by a lovely young lady called Carly, who couldn't do enough for us. She was very bubbly and chatted effortlessly with my 4 year old son, which made him feel very welcome! Carly made the overall experience welcoming!

Decent place. Solid choice for an everyday kind of meal. Building could use some work.

Samantha was amazing. Spent time talking to our son with additional needs and involving him in the ordering process as well as showing interest in his interests. Eating out with him can sometimes be stressful as he can be very loud and bouncy. However we were made to feel as though this wasn't a problem at all and managed to enjoy a very relaxed meal. All the staff we saw were very friendly, but Samantha went above and beyond. Thank you very much.

Table of four, without booking, we were welcomed in and sat to a table during a busy lunch time on a Saturday. We order 5 dishes from starter menu. Every dish rated 9/10 for presentation and taste. Service was great! Sammie the waitrose super friendly iswell!

Love coming to this branch. Always relaxed and clean. Service always good. All the waitresses are nice and recognise us when we come in. Carly especially friendly and chatty. Great service all round.

Lovely lunch with my husband and very elderly mother. Carly was polite and friendly but obviously needed help as she appeared to be the only one taking orders etc. Despite this we received our food quickly. Food was all really good and nice and hot. Carly wished us a good day as we left although she was still very busy.

Carly served us today and was very friendly. she made us feel really welcome. I tried the spinach and cheese pasta and it was the best meal I’ve ever had at harvester. Very tasty!

It was our first visit and it does what it says on the tin. Not a glam venue but the food was well cooked, portions were good, and the service was fast and friendly - thank you to our waitress Olivia. The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired - holes in the wall stuffed full of tissue, cramped, and no loo roll. The place is in need of refurbishment but could not fault the food or staff.

Haven't been to my local Harvester for quite some time. A couple of weeks ago when we had family visiting, we decided to go out for a meal for the occasion. We all chose our meal selection from home while booking a table. we arrived for a 7pm booking and it was quite busy as well as being on a Friday. We got seated within 5 minutes and a very pleasant server came to our table to ask if we required any drinks. We then ordered our meals and that's when it went downhill. I ordered the mixed grill only to be told that I couldn't have it due to items out of stock. I was very disappointed and reluctantly chose something else. We then went to the salad bar to be greeted with 4 empty dishes where various salad items would normally sit?,the remaining dishing did not look very appetising due to the fact that they didn't look overly fresh and were about quarter full. After selecting what I could salvage from the salad bar, I noticed my favourite dressing was empty. I asked a staff member if they could refresh the dressing jug, a few moments later was told that they had run out of said dressing. I have to say that after returning to our seat with a bowl of salad scraps,we then waited almost an hour for the food to arrive. The overall experience was a disappointment and I'm not sure if I would be that enthusiastic to revisit on another occasion.

This used to be a really good place to enjoy some good food, Won't be going there again. Cold , Sad miserable food that we couldn't even eat , No excuse for the food temperature as five tables at most were taken and the service was quick . I'd blame the kitchen staff and the poor food produce . This has food poisoning written all over it

We are regular's at harvester and Kayleigh gave us great service today. Food good as always and staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Excellent service. Our waitress Carly was outstanding. Polite, funny, attentive and extremely helpful. She explained everything and brought the food promptly, provided anything we requested. There were a few items that were unavailable.

Birthday lunch with family - didn't think to book as forgot it was half-term but they squeezed us in thankfully. Jack was our server and was lovely. We had a few tweaks to be made to the food on menu and these were all dealt with very simply.

Avoid this place for sure. The food was cold, the restaurant was cold. The salad bar was awful low on everything and dirty, the bread rolls... stale and shocking service. We waited over an hour for some items to come. And then we decided enough was enough. So complained, to be made to feel like it was somehow our fault that the experience was so shocking, it pains me to say it but Harvester is far from its former glory and I for sure would not be returning. I used the toilet before I left, and it was shocking dirty damp smelly the walls were falling apart the floor moved as I stood there I felt like I was going faint before realising it was the actual floor that moved not me.. and imagine my shock when I could see through the floordue to holes in it...

Customer service was fantastic. The food was great, well presented tasted great and very Carly was fantastic will definitely will be back

Cannot say thank you enough to Amy and Ashley- I ran in just after last food orders after a 4.5hr drive from Yorkshire for work. Mixed grill was great... I'm never optimistic about steaks at places like Harvester, and usually have a fillet at home... but my 4oz was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare and super tender :) it was all yummy and obviously can't fault the salad bar that I gorged on before my meal, got stuffed then didn't have my chips! So healthy meal that turned out to be! My partners chicken skewers were ALRIGHT but the chicken was a little dry. However, I'm doing the review so we can leave that bit out!!

Dropped in without booking, even though a crazy busy night still found us a space and was looked after very well. Definitely go back again !

No peas on my mixed grill, offered corn on cob instead, when it was brought to the table, then realised they forgot to add chicken, waited 5 mins to see waitress, who didn’t turn up until after I’d eaten my meal, is everything okay with your meal? She asked, a bit late to offer me chicken then.

Service was good but the Mediterranean vegetable tart had an extremely hard crust and base and I was unable to eat it. Explained to waitress but she didn't know what to do so did nothing.

I’ve eaten in many Harvesters around the country over the years and nothing compares to this one. The staff from the manageress ( Olivia ) down were so friendly and extremely helpful. When we entered we were shown to a table which was closest to the salad bar as they noticed we had walking sticks. Our waiter ( Martin ) continued the helpful and friendly vein where nothing was too much. We weren’t hassled for our order, but once it was taken the speed of delivery to our table was a joy to behold. This was our first visit and it most certainly will not be the last, my wife even asked me if where possible could we make this a weekly event.

The website and app always say items are unavailable, when they are. I have student discount and cant use it because of this ongoing issue ( it has been like this for months) . I tried ordering today student beans code was showing as not valid when it is so other problems add up to it. Ordered a delivery at the end , some of the food was burnt and prawn starter had a weird taste.. not the best service and not cheap either.

We had a lovely lunch here - the service from Tiffany, Carly and Amy H was excellent, they were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was all nice, except we prefer grilled sweetcorn on the cob rather than boiled - which they did for me once I had requested it. We even got a discount with our Blue Light Card! We'll come again!

Breakfast with santa, my kids had a lovely visit all staff were amazing, Chelsea our server, the 2 Amy's as managers and Lee and Gareth the chefs, food was brought out fast and hot even though the restaurant was packed... and santa was also very good..

The server, Chelsea was lovely, friendly Ordered, child's rump steak 😞 full of gristle and fat, couldn't cut it, so a child would if definitely of struggled. First of all manager was only going to refund coffee, eventually meal was taken off.
