Woke up this fine Sunday morning with the idea that a Traditional Sunday dinner would be nice if only I could get one at short notice. I phoned just after 9am and was answered by Liz who promptly took my order of four dinners all with various different requirements along with desserts. They arrived by 11.45am hot and smelling delicious. What more can I say.? They were absolutely fantastic. Thank you Liz and the team at the Coach House for a wonderfully tasty, extremely generously proportioned Sunday Dinner all with a great service, amazing value and excellent attention to detail. I would highly recommend the Coach House to all.

Called this morning to enquire about having Sunday lunch delivery, was told that our address was out of the delivery area,but the gentleman said he could get it dropped off by a caulauge on the way home from work . Talk about going the extra mile !!! Amazing sunday lunch ,fantastic service. Definitely will be back.

My nephew turned 21 today and I wanted to do something a little special for him I live in the USA and I had used the Coachhouse prior to this to deliver delicious Sunday dinners to my 88 year old mom whose is in lockdown I realized today's event would be a challenge with what I was requesting. Josh and staff however, rose to the challenge and totally exceeding my expectations .He not only delivered a meal, but a wonderful birthday cake and a little alcohol.My nephew was so pleased, and I do believe he was totally uplifted on today, his birthday .Thank you so much Josh, and the entire staff for making this possible.I can't wait to visit.

its nearly 1700 and no delivery we are in lock down due to COVID 19 its nearly 1700 looking at their face book page its chaos( try to support local business) they are obviously to greedy and cannot cope

The Sunday Lunch was amazing as always! Very tasty. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this place! Also had dessert which was very nice and different for a change as I normally can’t fit in a dessert 🤣

Took a chance and just turned up at 1pm on St Davids Day for a birthday dinner. Managed to get a table quickly although everyone else had booked and was quite full. Lovely carvery dinner, easy to order a vegetarian option with a tasty nut roast. Husband had beef and pork and both had a bit of the 8 veg plus roasties, stuffing and Yorkshire pud! All staff very polite and friendly, young lad in the kitchen was thoughtful ensuring i had veggie gravy and took my separate bits to the table whilst I got my veg - thank you!

Lovely sunday lunch. Only downside was gravy tepid whenbi prefer it really hot. Lovely staff and plenty of food. Could have done woth more variety of beg..only carrots and peas if you dont like cauliflower cheese and a strange swede mix. Also forx2 course price you could only have starter and main whereas out party would have preferred msin and dessert. Dessert was offered but pricey at 4.25

Absolutely amazing, great food, great staff, great atmosphere and all around an amazing night. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as it always has a friendly feel to the place. Myself and my partner will always go here not only because we love the place bit because everyone is always welcoming and everyone leaves happy..

We had such a lovely meal here today. 34 of us had our Christmas lunch . It was delicious. A very tasty vegetable soup or fresh plentiful salad with prawn salad and /or pate. Tender, succulent, generous servings of 3 meats and with a good choice of vegetables. Some of my party thought the Christmas pudding was the best they had ever tasted and a crumble or trifle desert made a tasty change. Very pleasànt staff combined with having the conservatory to ourselves made our meal all the more special . Thank you everyone. We will return.

Decided to try here for Sunday lunch with my daughter as the reviews looked good . First impressions were the place looked dirty , carpets looked like they hadn’t been hoovered stood by the bar waiting to be seated , bar area was wet and sticky with no attempt to wipe it down . Sat at the 1st table as you go through the doorway walls were dirty with picture missing highlighting the unkept feel of the place . The food and hygiene display was visible on the window clearly showing a 3 ! We decided on the 2 course as it seemed good value at £9.95 each . Really bad starter my daughter hat the leek and potato soup which she didn’t eat as was really bland and I had what was supposed to be garlic mushrooms which I can only describe as prob a mushroom sliced in a bowl of liquid with fat floating on top I don’t know if it was supposed to be a soup or what but it was not good and not edible either . The cavery was basic very small plates lots of mushy food mashed potatoes mashed swede soft roast potatoes over cooked veg etc ideal if your a pensioner I suppose but the worse thing was my daughter nearly chocked on a piece of hard plastic which was embedded in the food ! That was enough for us we left the remaining food and showed the plastic to the waitress who did not even offer an apology just said she’d tell the chef ....Paid our bill and left swiftly the whole dining experience was done in 40mins... thank god ... £25 wasted we won’t be going back !

Oh my goodness. We had a sunday lunch delivered for the first time today, after being advised by a friend. So glad we did. It was lovely. The best delivery sunday lunch we"ve ever had. Delivered in a foil bowl shape container. Was still hot when we recieved it and it was a very generous size (which is good for my husband). Comes with optional cauliflower cheese separate in a pot. And plenty of gravy. Will definitely be ordering again. And advise anyone who wants a weekend off from cooking order yourself one. You won't be disappointed.

Went here for Sunday lunch with family and friend. The starters were disappointing. Leak and potato soup was tasteless and garlic mushrooms game in like a soup and was far too creamy for some of the guests to eat. The main carvery was fine, no complaints at all. I did however, find a sharp piece if plastic shaped like a splinter in my meal which could have been very nasty if swallowed.I showed it to the staff and they said we will have a word with the chef. That was it, no apology. I also don't think the restaurant has enough staff as they looked rushed.Not comfortable to see when you are out to relax Would i come here again, maybe, as price for 3 courses was reasonable and carvery nice, if not hot enough.

We booked the venue for 25 family and friends for a 70th birthday get together. We opted for a cavalry. The food was amazing. Staff couldnt be more helpful from the initial booking to us leaving last night after our meal. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone commented on how nice the food was. We will definitely be returning frequently and recommending you to others. Thankyou so much.

Booked a Sunday lunch for two to be delivered, with desserts. When it was delivered, no desserts were with my order. Girl apologised, but when I took off lid to dinner my order was written on lid With deserts written down. Dinner was tasty but had so much veg and hardly any beef! Not sure if would re-order sorry!

Beautiful carvery with good selection of meats and veg .... meat was absolutely perfectly cooked and plenty of it ... pipping hot and the Gravy WOW stunning proper home made gravy 👌🏼 desserts were lush I couldn’t eat another thing 🐷🐷 🤣🤣 price was really great value well done 👌🏼

Awesome dinner delivered can't fault it. When I phoned the staff was extremely helpful asking about allergies which we do have so they then labelled my meals accordingly to accommodate thanks definitely a repeat order

the Sunday lunches are the tastiest I’ve ever had, with a choice of 3 meats-turkey beef or pork which melt in your mouth, all fresh hot veg and delicious gravy, I come here most sundays with family and wouldn’t go anywhere else, also excellent staff which can’t do enough for you,Highly recommended!!

Service is friendly. Food is really good. Fair pricing. Large portions. Great for everyone. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. All that needs said is to experience it for yourself.

Me and my partner Tom had been out walking the fabulous woodlands of dyfren and found ourselves at the coach house we popped in to see if we could get a table as we could tell that they were busy to our delight they could fit us in we were told that there may be a wait so I went to order a pint of staroprmen but the bar staff explained that they were in the middle of a reinstall but these guys had it in pint bottles and it was ice cold when we were called to the carvery it didn’t disappoint a selection of meats that were cooked perfectly as I had all three and the selection of vegetables was plentiful and the gravy omg I don’t know what it is but I want more

10 of us went for lunch Saturday there was one vegan and one gluten free we explained to the chef who was very knowledgeable about all dietary needs we were so impressed we were sent out gluten free gravy and a separate vegan gravy nowhere else has provided us with that the dinner was the best one I have tasted in a long time we all were very impressed thanks to the chef and staff they made our visit very good I would highly recommend this restaurant and give it a 5 star

Didn't even know I could get dinner delivered but I had one while at a friend's house and I felt compelled to share my experience. The dinner was fantastic, especially the gravy. The restaurant was very accommodating. (We had a very large order with a lot of awkward requests) All in all a great experience, looking forward to Sunday.

As a vegan it can be difficult to find a restaurant that accommodates to my needs. And when I do, I am usually limited to a salad. I explained this to the staff who were very knowledgable and helpful. In 5 minutes the chef had recommended 7 different meals! I could not recommend this restaurant enough. Ten out of ten. If you are able to visit this restaurant please do.

After reading claims that I could get a 5* meal I thought I’d give it a try whilst in the area....unfortunately the dinner can only really be described as on a par with a school dinner at best, and a cold one at that. As if that wasn’t bad enough in the toilet cubicle there was evidence that a previous visitor had been enjoying themselves a little bit too much. Probably best not say anymore on that. Won’t be visiting again, that I will say.

The service was shocking! Food took ages to come and the waitress was rude and didn’t apologise about the delay in food! We then asked to speak to the boss David Hughes who was again completely disgusting and rude. We then heard a number of different disgusting jokes coming from out the back which were simply vile. When the food then did arrive it was cold and disgusting! Will never return and would suggest anyone to go!

Visited the coach house for the first time, food was disgusting cold and certainly uncocked would not recommend to anyone. Seriously avoid!

We usually eat in up here last twice we had delivery . Amazing ordered four lunches which fed 6 huge portions and excellent service delivered on time and still hot thank you we will be back

Very disappointing at the coach house tonight. I was attending a family party for my brother 30th birthday which has been arranged for months with per booked food. Everybody was eating at different times, sides arrived at table after people had finished and some food didnt arrive at all leaving three people at the party not eating. No manager on site leaving his staff to deal with the chaos. The staff werent the strongest team and could have done with support from someone more senior.

On arrival it was a sort of guessing game as to what to do, eventually we were told where our table was, we were then just sat there not knowing if they would tell you when to go up to the carvery or if they took a drinks order. In the end we went and got our food, the service on the carvery was terrible, the lady was hacking at the beef and once that was put on plate she disappeared, we had to stretch over the hot veg to get roast pots and yorkshire. Also had to then go to the bar to get drinks, no draft beer for a shandy, pretty poor service, food was okay didn't eat it all.

I am not a fan of a carvery and have always avoided them. I approached this with not much hope. The meat was roasted to perfection and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. It was delicious. And considering whay you pay for it I was left stunned. This was really very, very good food. They also knock out weddings here, if I ever got an invitation that included this place I'd be looking forward to it.

I have had a few takeaway Sunday lunches from here now and each time they have been by far the nicest dinner ever tasted ! So many different types of veg , beef that’s taste of beef, moist and cooked perfectly not dried out cardboard and really tasty gravy !! Always piping hot and fresh . The staff are always friendly and polite .. keep up good work guys don’t change a thing

Oh my word!!! This is the first time we have had a Sunday Lunch take out. It will not be the last !! The meals were delivered in foil trays - beef , turkey & pork. Yorkshires, roasties, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, carrots, buttery smooth mash and swede. Lashings of meaty gravy in separate containers. Honestly one of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had. Excellent value and brilliant service. Thoroughly recommend.

We have visited for Sunday Lunch a few times and always found it delicious with a wide variety of tasty vegetables and always hot. We decided to try it on a Saturday and i am pleased to say the carvery was equally delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.

Went for lunch today and I have to say it gets better and better choice of three meats pork beef turkey all beautifully cooked choice of veg swede carrots cabbage mashed potatoes peas roasted potatoes stuffing and cauliflower cheese and gravy to die for generous portions thanks to you all at the coach house we will most certainly be back

7 of us came for Sunday lunch,we had a lovely table in the conservatory,the table was laid beautifuly,the carvery was delicious,plenty of tender meat,home made roasties and a large selection of veg,the gravy was thick and wonderful,cheesecake was to die for, excellent value,we all said we'll be back soon,my father said it's the best carvery he's ever had,fair praise,staff were rushed but attentive,well done

Not easy to find somewhere decent to eat in this part of the world. This place was not bad. The menu was quite ordinary, the food not bad. Service was friendly and helpful. I was surprised that there was no draft bitter, and the choice of wine by glass was very limited.

Wev'e had Sundal lunch here four times in the last two months. It is absolutely first rate delicious fresh locally sourced food. Friendly attentive staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Rang to book and was told it had changed hands. The man very keen to tell me it was not Tiffanys any longer. Arrived to find Tiffany signs outside and the same decor and pictures inside.

Went for lunch without booking. Very nice welcome. Now under new management , new menu. Service was good and food was very nice. Will be going back and booked for Father’s Day.

While we were served quickly, and staff were helpful and friendly. The starter (Soup) was only slightly warm. Warm enough, but not hot. The Main Carvery was lovely although some of the food was also on the cold side. Mainly the food not covered by the hot lights - Mash Potato and peas. Once we were ready to go, the bill that we were given wasn't for our table, and so was more expensive than we expected. However, this was sorted quickly. I would try there again, maybe just a blip, as I've been there before and food was lovely.

Made a booking about three weeks ago before a special birthday for our granddaughter. We were told the booking was made and we would be contacted prior to confirm we were still going. Received a phone call four days before, confirming our booking. Five minutes later another message saying that a wake for 100 people had been "overlooked"

We’ve visited this restaurant several times since the new owners took over, and I cannot fault anything in any of the visits, which have included Sunday carvery, evening and the new daytime menu.

Visited with hubby for Sunday dinner . The Whole area is a little bit shabby and run down needs a little bit of tlc the venue is under new management so maybe they have plans to paint and update the venue . 2 course meal vegetable soup to start I liked mine but hubby left his he said it was bland and tasteless . Main meal was the same meat was ok but everything else was bland tasteless and watery , No one asked if we wanted to order drinks but they did however try to charge us for drinks when we went to pay . Staff were quite pleasant could be a lovely venue if it receives enough tlc .

Sunday carvery lunch - a tenner for starter and main.

A few of my colleagues and I decided to try the takeaway dinners we've been hearing about. I ordered 6 takeaways while on a Sunday shift, I got to choose from the carvery like I has booked a table which was great. They gave us handy sealable foil plates to keep everything fresh and warm, along with a carton of their secret gravy so it doesnt go soggy in transit. Got back to work with 6 cracking dinners with glowing reviews all round.

We had a choice of two starters followed by a carvery meal with three delicious meat options and a large selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. Some also had a pudding but I was too full. The plates were hot and the meal served was the hottest food I have ever been served. Wonderful as I hate luke warm food and miraculous when dealing with such a large number of fussy customers. . Finally a delicious coffee finished off a perfect meal.The staff were extremely helpful even assisting my sister who walks with a stick by carrying her plate and filling it with her choices. Whatever we requested was dealt with quickly and efficiently with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be returning to this delightful venue to sample more of the menu. Congratulations to the owner for providing such lovely food in a relaxing atmosphere.

I have to say that the food just gets better and better each time we go and the staff are helpful my granddaughter is a vegan and the chef is very knowledgeable about it so I would recommend this restaurant and I certainly will be back

Had a family meal here. 12 of us with 2 children. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was fabulous, amazing value at 2 courses for £9.99 for Sunday dinner. Very tasty home cooked dinner. Will definitely be returning soon.

We went to the Cwm Clydach today with friends To see what the new owners have to offer. Very impressed, all staff and management were polite and friendly. Food was excellent and plenty of variety to choose from. Kids loved it and there’s plenty of room outside for them to run around.

We had a set meal of either tomato soup,melon or fruit juice. I asked for the melon but my friend had the tomato soup which I don't normally like but it smelled beautifully and looked delicious not like tinned tomato soup. So I changed my order and the soup was really good. The main meal was a carvery with a choice of beef, pork, or turkey. I had all three meats and the portion size was generous. The choice of veg was peas, sprouts, cauliflower cheese, carrots, creamed and roast potatoes, swede with Yorkshire pudding, and pigs in blankets. The meal was very good and what impressed me was that a member of the group was gluten free. Her needs were catered for and they even cooked gluten free sausages for her and brought the packaging as proof. The deserts were a choice of different gateaux s or Christmas pudding. A very good meal provided by the new owners and I will definitely be returning there.

Fantastic well where do I start we have been for Sunday lunch a few times the food is amazing the service is excellent and the desserts are to die for I highly recommend this restaurant because they cater for gluten free and vegan food that’s great for our group as we have one of each I wish all the staff and management all the best

I took the Wife and kids down for Sunday lunch, a work colleague had said that there was new owners so decided to give it a try. Walking in through the doors we could see it was busy so good thing we booked, staff were great and saw us quickly, we sat in the bar area for 5 minutes with our drinks and the owner actually came and sat with us and talked which was unexpected but a nice gesture. We were seated in the conservatory with great views but the food... the meat fell apart definitely slow cooked and the vegetables were lovely and fresh, my daughter is a vegetarian and they were very accommodating. We all walked away with a mountain of dinner each very generous portions a big plus for us. Fantastic food everything was hot and spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be visiting again highly recommend visiting yourselves.

Myself and my family have been coming here since the new owners opened it.The service was spot on,really friendly and polite staff,the sunday carvery is one of the best ive ever had,the meat melts in your mouth,and the desserts are lush as my daughter says,I would highly recommend it.

Went last Sunday for the carvery and it won't be the last time. Everything we had was incredible especially the gravy.

Excellent food and reasonable prices . Allways get a lovely welcome with friendly staff who will go out of their way to cater to your needs ust have to ask aout egan and gluton free menus. Also a popular venue for weddings in their own chaple any any kind of function with large private room and limited accomadation . Highly recommended.

I've been to the carvery a lot in the past but heard the restaurant had changed hands so decided to give it a try.

The last time I visited the coachhouse was before the new owners took over. The food was good but the place and staff looked stale. A month or so later I brought the family back to see if the new owners could match up...

Attended a function here with my choir in the function room. Lovely facilities. All had lunch in dining area, would recommend the lasagne.

I booked the Glynclydach Coach House to take out some old friends for a treat. I do not know the area well, but am so pleased I booked here. The restaurant was very comfortable and the surroundings pleasant, despite the weather. The staff were warm and friendly and added to the enjoyment of good food suitable for a variety of dietary needs. I was keen to pay the bill without embarrassment to my friends so paid at a suitable point before the end of the meal. On arriving home I realised I had been accidentally overcharged. I sent an email that evening and first thing the next morning I had a really helpful reply. By the following day the refund was returned to my bank account. Excellent, and really first rate service. Thank you all very much.

Came here for a 60th birthday party last night and would highly recommend it as a venue for a function. There was plenty of parking space. The staff were friendly and jovial. We had a buffet, which was very tasty and had a nice variety of items including chicken drumsticks, sausage rolls, wraps (instead of sandwiches, which had different fillings including ham salad and cheese and pickle) and fish fingers. The best part of the night was the karaoke, which everyone enjoyed immensely. The lady who ran the karaoke sang a few songs first - she had a lovely voice. Then the guests got up to sing a few songs. They seemed to have a very good choice of songs on the system - I was worried they wouldn’t have the songs I wanted to sing, but they did. A great night, and if I lived closer, it’s certainly somewhere I’d consider for an event of my own.

I've been here for many events; wedding receptions, wakes, and family parties and the service is lovely, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I can't comment on the cost as I've not booked on here myself, but I'm lead to believe that it's reasonable for what's offered

As organiser of the group I booked this a few weeks ago to celebrate valmai's birthday. I had been there with my family for my birthday dinner the previous month and we had all enjoyed it. I could see access was great for some of my members in wheelchairs and as my members are visually impaired the lay out and lighting in Tiffany's restaurant was great for them. Tiffany's do not normally open lunch time on a Monday but when I explained they kindly opened for us. Sending me a set menu for members to look at and select to make it easier for both them and us on the day.

Visited in the week for a friends wedding anniversary. Able to have carvery in the evening if over 30 people dining. One of the best carveries I have ever eaten. Starters were soup of salad bar, not much choice on the salad bar but what...

My son and daughter in law got married here Friday 16th October from the moment we arrived everything was perfect the wedding room was perfect the food was piping hot and tasty from the wedding planners bar staff to the dj nothing could be faulted...

After viewing a selection of menus of various restaurants in the Neath and Swansea area online. We felt the one that gave us the best selection ,was Tiffany's Restaurant at the Coach House and we were not disappointed. It was a beautiful day and we sat out on the decked area having a drink whilst browsing the menu. The view from this point is spectacular and is a wonderful peaceful setting. My husband chose the Pate with Cognac to start whilst i had the Garlic Mushrooms and for main course he had Sirloin Steak and I chose the Duck both served with a choice of potatoes and side salad. all were delicious and very well presented. For 2 courses each, 2 bottles of wine and a few pints of larger the bill came to £85.00. Excellent value for money and the service was second to none Highly recommended!!!

Forget standing and peeling a load of veg and then be left with a mountain of washing up, get yourselves to Tiffanys restaurant at the Coach House and enjoy a delicious Sunday Roast. My husband and myself went along for Lunch last week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is a set 3 course menu for £12.95 (as with a previous review I would have also preferred a 2 course option) There is a lovely main room which is spacious and airy which contains the carvery or a conservatory over looking the lovely countryside setting. For starters there is a Salad Bar or Soup of the day, with a Bread roll, The Carvery had a choice of Beef, Turkey or Pork accompanied by Yorkshire pudding, roast and boiled potatoes, roast parsnips, cauliflower and broccoli in a cheese sauce, cabbage, carrots and peas. The gravy is plentiful and everything was served piping hot (delicious). The desserts ranged from 3 flavors of cheesecake, apple pie, profiteroles lemon meringue pie or ice cream. As the restaurant is so busy, there maybe a delay between courses, but this suited us as we could relax and have a drink and not feel rushed to vacate our table. Highly recommended. We had a superb a la carte meal for Valentines evening. The entertainment was superb - tribute to Olly Murs !! What a superb night - real value for money. I love this place out in the country will great grounds.

Had a lovely time with friends,live music ( lead singer not so good) nice Buffett, Drinks a reasonable price except for soft drinks which were expensive.But over all a enjoyable beginning to 2014.

We had mothers day lunch here and what a treat.It was good value for money and the best roast beef ever, The chief said he slow cooks it for 12 hours. The potatoes were under cooked as they were the last time we went. The gravy was so nice . There was a sweet trolley and my husband had the home made crumble which he said was really good.The Staff were great and we had great service. Even though it was very busy we didnt have to wait for our pre booked table.We will go again for sure.
