What a great place to book a birthday party. Fantastic food (the graze option and the staff were great.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE their Turkish eggs. And for that, I will keep coming back. I've been maybe 8 times now since finding the place and get the same every time. I've tried Turkish eggs at other breakfast places and they're all terrible. I'm bored of avo toast or things I can make myself so I am obsessed. Coffee is good. Sometimes the tables are a bit sticky, and there could be comfier chairs/place to work (just my preference as I work from home and consider laptop space and comfort if I'm picking a place to work which just means I'd stay longer and spend more) but I'm paying for the food and as long as that standard remains high I'm happy. The price is good for coffee and food compared to other places.

Dog friendly and delicious food. I had wild mushrooms on sourdough and added a poached egg. Very flavoursome, although I would have preferred a slightly thicker slice of toast. The atmosphere was somewhat lacking, but would work perfectly for a private event. For the food alone I would return and recommend The Cwtch to others.

Had my 30th birthday here, the staff were amazing and so nice! The afternoon tea graze was stunning.

A well run establishment where I had the best lasagne served with chips and salad. A quick smooth efficient service and friendly staff......will certainly visit again.

My daughter had her 18th birthday here and it was amazing! The room is wonderful and the team working on the day were outstanding. Nicole couldn’t do enough for us, she was exceptional. The two bar men, Max and Lewis were so brilliant. They all made our night even more special. What an amazing place with an outstanding team. I really can’t thank you all enough.

The Back Room booked for a Hen party! Fantastic venue and location, staff were so helpful and really couldn’t do enough for us. The food was outstanding and perfectly presented. Our only downfall was that the room was boiling and stuffy, with no windows, aircon or even fans supplied, even the staff were struggling with the heat and commented on it, many of us were sadly using the menus as fans. It’s a shame really as the room is decorated wonderfully and the ambience is perfect. Besides this we had a fantastic time and will return again.

I recently hired The Cwtch for my 40th birthday party. What a fantastic venue! The team were great throughout the booking process, answering all my questions and being really accommodating. We had a fantastic time and the team on the night were super. Highly recommend for parties - it's a great space and a lovely venue.

This place is one of my favourite in Swansea, the best place to go to for breakfast, I’ve tried so many places but there is nothing like this . My favourite is wild mushroom and benny . The service is A class . Since , I go their often , last time I felt my food had less truffle oil , so the person behind the till went and got me some in a pot and some Parmesan so I could relish my breakfast. I have recommended every person I know to go and eat there , it’s right in the city centre and it’s not very busy or eye catchy that people would go , but the inside is really beautiful . It’s so clean and pretty , if you haven’t been there then you’re really missing out . The only thing I’m sad about is that they have stopped serving white hot chocolate which was my go to 🥲 I hope you guys will bring it backkk ❤️

This venue is beautifully decorated. It’s current and has that cosy feel too. I hired a room downstairs for a function and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they all were very accommodating. We had an afternoon tea graze which was constantly being replenished and was all super fresh. The food itself was divine. The presentation of it was very neat and appetising. I would highly recommend this venue x

I had my baby shower at the cwtch and it was the best venue. Very lovely staff and everything was smooth sailing. The room I had was lovely, a very intimate room space with its own bar! The food was also amazing! Thank you so much again for making it a lovely day

Really nice place for lunch and they do gluten free option. Just wish they had a bit more on there menu but overall I would definitely recommend.

We had a private party booked with The Cwtch. From booking through to the pwrty itself the staff were amazing, really helpful making suggestions for the decor, how many to cater for etc. On the night the food not only looked stunning but tasted amazing. The decor was spot on with the colours I asked for and everyone loved the added novelty of the photo booth. Thank you so much to the staff there for everything that you did - we had a ball!

Thank you for helping us celebrate a lovely baby shower today. Service and food was lovely. Welcoming staff and attention to detail prior to arriving and on day. The venue, we used downstairs was beautiful and you really don't need to do much as the decor is already lovely. Would recommend for any event.

Absolutely beautiful food we had here! My wife and 2 children pick this cafe every time we are in Swansea city centre! By far the best breakfast and coffee in town! Staff were really polite and friendly. Special mention for Antonio as he made sure we had all that we wanted. Definitely recommend to all!

My daughter had her bay shower here today very disappointed and feel very let down, we had 30 guest all paying £17.50 each the service was awful and the attitude of the manager was disgusting. One tea pot on the table didn’t go around 4 people so I asked for another pot of tea which I was told to wait waited 20 mins still no tea. Asked for boxes to be done for the people who couldn’t attend as they had paid their money. Once baby shower had finished boxes weren’t there asked the Manager who said her name was Ashleigh give me a awful look and basically told me must have been taken!!! I asked to speak to a manager as her attitude was awful she advised she was the manager and looked me up and down. Very disappointed and hurt my daughter was in tears coming out as the service was bad and my daughter feels like she let he guests down by bringing them there.

I had my baby shower here and the service and standard of the food was disgusting! For such an aesthetically pleasing looking venue the staff are so rude and the food was so skimpy and tasteless, really disappointed as it wasn’t cheap at all. What we paid included the use of a Photo Booth, there were two baby showers at once so we had the Photo Booth for the first hour but it was tucked away and I was not made aware it was ready to use so we missed that! The managers response was “I told the one in a blue dress” who was just a guest in my shower! She knew who I was so therefore I thought she would approach me to let me know. We choose the afternoon tea package and we asked for a refill of tea and were huffed and puffed at. 4 people couldn’t attend so we asked for their food to be boxed up, they boxed 4 servings up and chucked 2 before we had chance to take them and the managers response to that was “well they were there” . Overall really disappointed with the service , atmosphere, and standard of food.

I took away a star because the food wasn't as hot as I expected and bacon was way too salty.. I tried the Welsh breakfast , for the first time, which was interesting. Not a fan of seaweed but not reason why I'm giving lower stars. Lower stars were due to the hotness of food and bacon being salty. Partner had the English breakfast called the cwtch. Coffee was great. Drank two mochas. Service was good. Atmosphere wise it felt like the place needed to be cleaned. Cute decor though.

Beautiful inside. Well worth a visit. Huger selection of food and drinks. Perfect cup of tea - must have been made with angels tears! I wish I could stay forever.

I would like to preface my review by saying I have no desire to ruin the reputation of a small business. However, there are things that I could not ignore. Straight away, the manager (dark brown/black hair) was very rude and blunt. I did not enjoy the impression she gave and she seemed very snappy. As for the other members of staff, I felt rather uncomfortable as they seemed to be very “cliquey” and judgemental. Not the type of atmosphere I want when trying to eat a donut!!! As for the donut, well, it may as well have given me diabetes! I have never in my life tasted as much sugar and it was not at all enjoyable. My daughter opted for a meal, and it was clear that the cutlery and plates were very dirty and still had food on them from a previous meal! Very off putting. The restaurant itself was not bad to look at although the floors were rather sticky and slippy- not good for my hip! I would suggest a change in staff and perhaps some customer service training for the manager. Sandra

We hosted a private function at The Cwtch recently and it was a fantastic venue. It’s the perfect space for a party with a delicious buffet and incredibly kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended

Cwtch hosted my baby shower and I have to say did an absolutely beautiful job at decorating and supplying food. Matched to my theme perfectly and made the whole ordeal stress free. Can’t thank enough, had a lovely day!

We escaped out of the rain and had a blumming lovely cup of coffee with a bacon sandwich, and a sausage sandwich! Sandwiches were delicious - lovely bread, thick bacon, piping hot! Great service - we will definitely be back!

I've been to The Cwtch for coffees and lunches and found out they did venue bookings. So I booked the venue for my 30th - the process was easy and there are so many options to choose from. On the night, the staff were really welcoming, friendly and accommodating! The buffet provided was incredible and everyone loved it. There's plenty of space and the atmosphere was perfect. So glad I picked The Cwtch! I would highly recommend the venue to anyone! Thank you again to the fantastic staff and The Cwtch as a whole!

Dissapointing afternoon tea, very poor quality for the price of £17.50 pp few finger sandwiches one had a measly slice of the thinnest cheapest quality ham that you can buy. Not what you expect on an afternoon tea.

We had our wedding party here…as we got had married abroad and wanted to have a celebration with the people that couldn’t make it on the day! Amazing service, staff and food! The venue is so lovely and was perfect for what we wanted! Thanks all for making our day so special

Amazing food! Can’t recommend this place highly enough, as it’s a proper hidden gem! Myself and my partner both ordered the fried chicken bagel (which came with a side of fries!) and a side of halloumi. The food came out piping hot, a big portion and it looked amazing! It filled our bellies and our main dish was only £9 each which is very reasonably priced! We will defo be back again, as there’s lots more on the menu we would love to try!! Thanks to everyone at the cwtch :)

Hosted my friends hen party here on Saturday and couldn’t have asked for better service, food or venue! The basement is beautiful, the staff were accommodating of the decorator I had in proper to the event, and throughout the whole afternoon they were so happy to help with any queries! And to top it off? The food and drinks were exquisite! Highly recommend any events at The Cwtch ☺️

Amazing venue, very impressive! . From the decor to the afternoon tea graze table, every little detail was executed well. The communication with the venue was easy and there was always someone on hand who was happy to help. We were allowed to arrive early and dress the room with our own decorations which eased the running of the day & the bar staff were amazing and really with the atmosphere of the night. Would definitely recommend to others and hire for future events.

I took my daughter for an afternoon of shopping and lunch in Swansea as a treat after a hospital apt in Morriston. We asked a shop assistant in Zara where she'd recommend and she suggested The Cwtch. We're so glad we came here...staff were friendly and polite.. service was quick...and the food was amazing! I had the falafel bowl and my daughter had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Both dishes were high quality food sourced from quality, local independent suppliers. All at a reasonable cost. Will definitely recommend this fantastic find. Well done to the staff and owner.

I had such a positive experience when I booked my friends hen with the cwtch! They sorted out everything for me which took a massive weight off my shoulders and the end result looked amazing! Initially I forgot to book one of the packages and when I realised (about two weeks before the date), they were so sound and sorted out everything with no issues. They were so easy to communicate with prior to the hen do too. At the hen party the boys behind the bar were so helpful and friendly and the attendees said how nice they were and how lovely the graze board was (especially the sausage rolls) so thank you so much! Couldn’t recommend you guys more!

Had lunch with a few work colleagues here today before I get married on Friday. The staff were so lovely and food was delicious. I had the falafel bowl and would definitely have it again

Website and the menu outside state the cafe opens at 9- but when a group of us turned up just after 9 (on a Wednesday) we were told we couldn’t come in as it wasn’t open until 9.30

Had my daughters Yr 6 prom. Antonio was very accommodating and place looked amazing. Wonderful barman tolerated a lot of 11 year old boys asking for beer/vodka/prosecco. Food was phenomenal especially the donuts and the biscoff rockyroad. Will definitely be booking more parties there if they will have us ☺️🥰

I booked the basement for my sister hen do and it was fantastic! I can’t thank Nicole and the staff enough for my baby shower on Sunday. They literally went above and beyond. Even with a slight mix up over the food, they couldn’t do enough for me and got everything sorted in time for my guest arriving. Absolutely brilliant time! Had my wedding reception here, could not have asked for more, the food was lush! So many compliments about the food, staff out do themselves with service, we had the decorations done with them aswell and it was way better than the reference pictures I had sent them, we also had the Photo Booth, I think we ended up using that more than our phones to take pictures it gave such good lighting 😂, would highly recommend hiring for any event or even just booking a table for some food!. The food was great, service was also great. I personally felt the feel of the place was just a bit plain clinical looking, needs more colour give the place a warm feel.

Nice little place. High tea on mother's day was acceptable and tasty. Improvements in my opinion would be, pastries served warm also the scones. Tea and coffee to be left with you on the table. And bit naf to have a restriction on the table. Service pleasant. The atmosphere could be better.

I had a wonderful evening for my Hen party in the function room. The food was amazing (one one of my favourite places to come for brunch on a weekend), the singer that they sourced was great and the cocktail making was really good fun. The staff that hosted us were really friendly and everyone had a lovely evening. Great location in Swansea City centre and the decor is lovely. Thank you so much. XxX
