Ten21 Bistro & Bar in Neath Port Talbot

We went there for a light lunch. I had the jacket potato and tuna mayo and my partner had a tuna and cheese melt panini . Both cost only £7.50 each and came with lovely side salads and were beautifully presented.

Spot on! Called in about 4pm ish on Friday and had a pint. And decided to have food. We opted for sharing board ( surf and turf ) absolutely stunning. Well cooked, well presented, and reasonably priced, and lovely welcoming staff, nothing was to much trouble, Will definitely be calling back again.

In Neath for cider & real ale festival, but fancied a coffee so popped into this cafe. Asked for stirrer/teaspoon, & girl behind counter told us to use plastic drinking straw...but to "stir it quick before it melts!" 5 straws later we gave up. Apparently they "didn't think anyone would be asking for coffee with festival on!!" so didn't have spoons. They were playing music, & turned the volume up very loud while we were there so we took our coffees outside , where a guy with an amazing voice was singing as part of the event . He was being drowned out by music coming from cafe, & he asked if they could either close the door or turn the volume down. Not much to ask, & let's face it who wants to be deafened with piped music when there is live music right outside...but the same member of staff refused to close the door or turn music down. Have been to this cafe twice now, & both times staff were unhelpful and quite rude, but after this experience there are plenty of other friendlier cafés in Neath where they even supply teaspoons!

My friend and I met in Neath for a catch up. We found this bar by accident and what a find it was! The decor and atmosphere was great! The service was fantastic and the live solo singer was amazing. I loved the attention to detail when making the drinks. I’m not one to right reviews but I had to as this is certainly a bar I look forward to visiting again. Classy and vibrant.

What a lovely surprise to find this little gem of a bistro. Went for lunch, love the rustic decor,staff were lovely and friendly. 2 had lamb burgers and I had the chicken burger. (Best I've had in ages..)All plates were empty, however not easily !!(portion size generous. ) so much nicer than the big chains that just seem to churn the dishes out. If your in Neath shopping pop in doubt you'll be disappointed. X

Poor, rushed service. Staff seemed more focused on getting their next task done instead of providing welcoming customer service. Coffee’s lovely but food below par.

Oh dear, where to begin. My main course arrived while I was still eating my starter, and although I was unable to hide my irritability, the server cheerfully plonked my meal in front of me. I ordered the Italian Chicken off the specials board, therefore it was among the more expensive dishes on the menu. The presentation wasn't great, however, that wouldn't prompt a bad review, it's all in the taste right? the mozzarella and sundried tomato was somewhat congealed but did a fantastic job of hiding the driest piece of chicken I've ever had. The oil the chips were cooked in needed changing. Inedible. The soup starter was good.

Family of four with three dogs. We all enjoyed our meals from a simple panini to a burger, everything was nice. Only complaint is that as we had the dogs we sat outside which was fine but the tables weren’t big enough for the plates and the table we sat at was very wobbly.

Myself and my friend walked in, lucky to get a table inside as was raining heavy and caught the last 2 seats. Easy to access track and trace app they are using, nice and spaced. Amazing Halloumi Stacker burger, both had same and enjoyed. Glad to be back, thank you!!

I have dined at this restaurant several times. I have to say that every time I have had a meal here it has been great value. The food is well cooked and the restaurant is always clean and tidy. The only issue I have had is there has been an occasion where the staff/ manageress appeared to be miserable. Yet still helpful. Would I recommend it yes to right I would.

Lovely food great wine fantastic cocktails and a male singer for entertainment. What more could you ask for

Myself an my dad ordered a breakfast and a cup of tea. Breakfast took 45 minutes to come out. Was very tasty but won’t be going there again.

Oh dear me if ever there was somewhere that is desperate need of staff training in how to ensure a good customer journey then this is the place . I was served half a moretti and when it was placed flat and unappealing in front me and once I said it tasted strange , and my friend tried and agreed I was TOLD by the grumpy bar female that She would put a head on it but didn’t like my attitude and I couldn’t have anything else ! Even though I would have bought a bottle as their glasses and or beer lines aren’t clean . Avoid until a customer friendly bar staff who aren’t offensive to the PAYING customer. Avoid

Took advantage of their "Burger and a peroni for £10" deal on Thursday afternoons. Have to say for the price, it was excellent. Great value for money. The place is also provides great live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Shall be returning very soon.
