Came here with a friend to see Natalie Churchill, a spiritualist. There was a buffet supplied with the price of the ticket. The food was beautiful, there was a lovely environment and the staff were fab and friendly. There was a fantastic turnout for the evening and if you have the opportunity to see Natalie here you won't be disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed 😊

I feel very much at home in the Malsters as I have been coming for over 43 years! The service friendly staff and fabulous menu choice and quality of the food is always excellent. Coming again on 14 December with old school friends to celebrate xmas

When one star is generous… Shambolic from start to finish. Booking a table - straight forward enough. Obtaining a menu to pre order - like pulling teeth. 17 individuals turning up to eat - wish we hadn’t. Table setup for 11. Waitress rocking up to the table with a handful of menus - you kidding me? We’ve pre ordered via email. ‘Sorry but our chefs haven’t received the email’. Oh here go. Staff stood around like I’d had a free entry into Madame Tussaud’s. Then again, I wish I had, would have been great to see some form of personality. Would you like a drink? 45 minutes later. What about a spoon for my soup? Thought we’d asked them to babysit our kids for a few hours. No water for the table. Food turns up cold. Restaurant - also cold. Other half is coeliac and asks for gluten free bread. ‘Oh let me check the soup is gluten free’ whilst she’s already knocked back half of the bowl. At this point, we’ve now made the decision to grab our own condiments. Half of the party had pre ordered the toffee cheesecake. You know, the pre order that we had issued well in advance that hadn’t made its way to the chefs? You got it! ‘Sorry but the toffee cheesecake is sold out’. You couldn’t write it. An absolute calamity from start to finish. They pride themselves on being a classy establishment with their lamps the size of genie and their pianist adding to what felt like the final moments of Titanic. Lastly, the hardest part. Paying… They then had the nerve to advise that whether you had 1 course or 3 courses, it was £44! Advertising various offers, different menus, even the staff apologising and acknowledging the confusion it brings. Things need to be simplified, brought back to basics and all staff up skilled. 0/10. Merry Christmas.

My mum and her friends had a lovely Xmas meal in Norton house today. My mum who is in her 90’s is a tough cookie to please but she highly praised the service and the food ….especially the lovely thick tasty gravy …. Well done Norton House you deserve a medal !!!!

1st est 18:40, then changed a few times eventually arriving after 19:50 with pizzas arriving barely luke warm. Had to microwave to heat so crusts overdone and virtually inedible. Similar last week (currenlty restrictive mobility, hence weekly orders last 2 weeks) Extremely disappointing so definitely won't be reordering and will try elsewhere.
