The best restaurants serving British food in South Wales

Been here for breakfast and Sunday lunch and never disappointed!! Today we went for our Christmas Dinner get together and it was outstanding!! The food was excellent and the service was brilliant. They really make your experience special and they go the extra mile !! The trifle was Delicious!!(so is the food)😁😁🤣🤣👍👍👍👍

It's the second time I've been this year. I'm only the one in our group of six gluten free. The food was brilliant. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would go a third time . Also I've already booked a Christmas meal for 38 of my family. Very good experience 👌

Ordered a fry up to nurse a hangover. Was delicious and good value for money. Also got a banana milkshake which is the nicest milkshake i’ve had in a long time. Definitely ordering again.

Special night here for my husbands birthday and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely atmosphere and food. They brought his birthday cake out and sang happy birthday it was so nice kids all over excited too. What a lovely place.

Good restaurant. Eat here very often.

Arrived with partner for dinner at 6.30pm. Restaurant half empty and lots of tables free. Waiter asks if we booked. I said no. He said we can't eat there. I said can we book now? He said no, we don't take walk ins. Walked out. They lost £100. Great way to run a restaurant that's struggling most of the year.

We went for breakfast on Mothers Day a party of 6adults and 4 children not the best experience 3 of the adult breakfasts arrived COLD it wasn’t even busy ! So we all ate at different times which was disappointing value for money not the best Service from front of house was very good waiting staff were helpful and apologetic but while mistakes can happen there is no excuse for food being cold Don’t plan to return here

One of my favourite pubs in Cardiff. Excellent pub food, and tables out front and back for when the weather's nice. Make sure you book on the weekend or if football/rugby is on, or if there's cricket in Sophia Gardens.

Food wasn't nice, Gammon was dry and hard.
