The best restaurants serving British food in South Wales

This was our first visit. We all thought it was wonderful! Food was perfect! Will definitely book again 👍🥂

Special night here for my husbands birthday and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely atmosphere and food. They brought his birthday cake out and sang happy birthday it was so nice kids all over excited too. What a lovely place.

Average pub with expensive average pub grub

The fish was chewy and the batter was too oily. The swordfish stake was tiny for it's price and we had an ipad kid sat next to us playing cartoons at full volume in an empty restursnt. Won't be returning.

I have been eating at this pub/restaurant for years and every time it is amazing. Ive never had a bad meal here. Most recently I had a Sunday lunch which was delicious, and I am even more pleased to hear that they now offer a takeaway service for Sunday lunch, just ring a few days in advance to order 😀.

Understaffed but the staff that were there worked hard, simply not enough. I could see meals ready for 5+ minutes just waiting for a server

First time back in after it closed and reopened , a warm welcome was received. I had a steak ,was cooked to perfection, struggled to find anywhere that can cook a steak properly, they achieved it beautifully, my partner had a vegetarian noodle dish also well cooked. We will definitely be regulars for food . Gary

We had a great time at the 1.5 hour bottomless brunch yesterday. The food was delicious (and a really generous portion!) and the choice of drinks was brilliant - beers, wine, prosecco or cocktails. The man serving us was so friendly and helpful too. We'll be back!

Been for breakfast few weeks ago, was cold to point not even butter melted on toast and food was stone cold. Went for sunday lunch today. First gave us wrong order and when ours arrived was shocking how bad it was. Half hour late and barely cooked gravy is basically water, even table behind us was laughing while eating how bad it was and them and us couldn't wait to get out quick enough. We all left about 3/4s of food on our plates. Don't waste your time

Went here for my birthday meal and was not disappointed! The food I had was really good! one of the best mixed grills I've had!! The menu was big with lots of choice, decently priced and big portions!! We were surprised how quiet it was as the food and service was so excellent! It is located on a farm which was nice, big parking area, it is a bit out of the way but it's lovely once you get there, with plenty of signs on the way showing you the way. Decor is western themed, big and spacious which we also liked. Our server was a lovely lady who was so friendly we thought she was brilliant! Unfortunately didn't get her name. There's some lovely sculptures just at the front of the restaurant in the shape of a love heart and a horse which is also a lovely spot for photos. Would definitely recommend!
