Again, food was spot on. Four of us ate. The food was lush. Staff couldn't do enough for my kids, including colourings. Drinks lovely and cold. I think the food is reasonably priced. Thanks again, and see you very soon.

The chips were greasy and cold not like it was when they first opened the staff looked miserable and was talking to each other when serving you that seemed quite rude I won’t be coming back

Thought we would try Page's as my husband is coeliac and requires Gluten Free diet which Page's said they cater for. Didn't wait too long for our good but chips were cold when they arrived at the table. We ordered GF curry sauce which didn't arrive with food. I had to ask waiter for the curry sauce Waited further 10 mins Unfortunately my husband has been ill since returning home. I assume it was not GF curry sauce given to him. Won't be returning

Been coming here for years. The last time we ate here (last year) we were disappointed but decided to try again today. The girls serving were pleasant as they always are but the service from the kitchen was so so slow. The couple next to us had waited so long they asked for it to be take away. In the end they had to go back to work without eating, calling back later to collect it. My husband was disappointed with his hake and chips. I had fishcake which was very dry. Sorry to say we probably won't be eating here again.

Ordered food for delivery, we've had good food last time but this time it was all cold and chips were very dry and the burgers were very salty

Visited here last Thursday, chips tasted like they had been reheated not nice at all, one of our party had sea bass that was over cooked. The food took ages to come even though it wasn't that busy when we went in. We did mention it when paying and they took the cost of our drinks off the bill. This is the second time the chips were disappointing the other time they were cold.

The cod was awful, batter thin and soggy yet burnt in places, the burnt taste permeated through the fish. Chips were pasable .they should have been after the customer in front of me complained they were dry and hard then we had to wait 5 minutes to cook a new batch. I was going to ask for a refund but didn't have time to argue. Staff were innatentive and all over the place. Waste of money DO NOT GO THERE.

Called there Saturday 9pm arrived home to find food was cold hard had to be thrown away disgusting do not recommend

Went there especially for gluten free food as their gluten free menu is very good but when I arrived home they hadn’t put the sausages in so rung them, they promised to send them out but an hour later we are still waiting, chips and curry are now freezing so had to cook food anyway. They were very nice and polite but service not very good.

One of the reason I'm scoring so high. Is the people in there are outstanding. Helping in anyway possibly.. came in late and they cook me a new lot with out saying nothing . The cooks are kind as well as the rest. Would and going back again.

I have never been to a fish and chip shop that has a reception and a full blown bar before. Nice and clean inside with friendly staff, didn't wait long for food either. It was difficult to choose what to have because there is so much variety, I can tell you the swordfish was excellent. Anyone leaving less than 4 stars for this place is out of their mind and should get a grip on their life.

Was the best fish and Chip restaurant within 50 miles and still is most of the time. Food here can be perfect or sometimes not hot enough. Food quality is good. We like sitting upstairs but in the winter can be cold and in summer too hot. It is annoying to hear the phone ringing unanswered. Price OK for perfect fish and chips.

The chips tasted like cardboard and the fish and sausage were not far off either. I was really looking forward to this but ruined my Friday night. You guys need to do better. A simple classic recipe and you’ve managed to butcher it.

Have been a fan of Pages for a few years both sit in and collect / delivered the Irish curry has been a favourite dish but lately it has far too much salt for our taste !

Great place to eat good quality fish and chips. Plenty of choice and a warm welcome . Easily accessible with good parking. Stairs to extra dining space upstairs. Ground floor dining space available too. A takeaway service is on offer or dine in. I really enjoyed the whitebait and the sea bass while my husband enjoyed the calamari followed by cod and chips. Would highly recommend and will be returning soon. Thank you to the kind staff x

A real nice plaice sorry nice place. I had the haddock and chips (its a fish and chip restaurant so an obvious choice). Good sized portion of both the fish and chips. Nice comfortable and clean. The service was good too. I'll be back.

I love pages so much I have been coming for a long time. Came today and unfortunately the portion sizes have been slashed especially if you order grilled fish. I can’t eat batter as I get ill so I like Grilled but I get a tiny portion when I have grilled? Not very good considering you pay the same price if it’s battered yet you get more when you have battered fish. Won’t be returning.

Been here before and it was great this time we went in on a Tuesday afternoon after the lunch rush about 2.30pm the was only 8 people in the whole place, the girl at the counter asked where we wanted to seat and we said down stairs but could we be away from the door as i was just getting over a bad chest infection and feeling the cold bad, she said sit at the back away from the door, i walked to our seat to be told by the woman cooking behind the counter we could not seat hear as only two of us and had to sit near the door or upstairs, as my wife is disabled upstairs was out of the question so we tried to sit near the door bit it was so cold we had to leave, we made a special trip of about 10 miles to go there and i would even understand if it was rush hour and full, half two on a Tuesday !! Shame on you page's that's another customer you have lost plus the rest of my family kids and grandkids which i was due to bring in Friday as they all wanted to try your loaded fries but its the last place i would go now. really bad customer service on such a quiet day no need for it.

Very disappointed with their Gluten Free Fish & Chips. There didn't seem to be much batter on it and the GF Curry Sauce had no curry flavours at all.

Don't waste your money with take out warmed up oil soaked dark brown shells for chips and a microwaved soggy pie, straight in the bin, this chippy has gone down hill massively, if I could've given a zero star rating that would have been too high

Haven't visited for a while. Can't wait to visit again. The waitress was friendly amd couldn't do enough to help us. Lovely atmosphere. Food was stunning for me and my partner. I had loaded fries. Absolutely lush. Partner had lasagne and was blown away but taste and the amount on their plate. All washed down with a very cold beer and some white wine. No room for pudding. 10 out of 10 thank you so.much and see you soon. 😘

Recently told I needed a gluten diet, so I thought I'd give page's a go as wanted fish n chips, it was delicious. it didn't taste any different. I definitely will be back or have it delivered home. Husband loved his that he could have curry with his at no extra cost.

I’ve been here a few times and travel from Bedfordshire. The staff welcome here is great and the food fantastic. Tonight I tried the Chicken Tikka half & half for the first time. Chicken Tikka curry in a Fish and chip restaurant? It was lovely. I’ve tried their fish pie in the past too, I would recommend that too.

I always want to eat at Pages when visiting Cwmbran you always know you will get great food and service. The staff are extremely professional and helpful and are happy in their work which makes it a pleasure to visit each and every time.

We regularly come here probably once a week and the food is always top notch! Wouldn’t imagine going to any other takeaway

I've had all 3 services here, restaurant, takeaway and delivery and I cant complain about anything, takeaway staff are friendly and can have a bit of banter even when busy, restaurant staff always willing for a chat and drivers are friendly too. Deliveries are always in good time. The home made burgers are so good, they have quite a selection of fish, gluten free options and even veggie options too. My husband loves the chicken platter and the home made fish cakes are a hit too and chicken burger! I could go on With restaurant food being available for takeaway and delivery too is a winner, where else could you get stuff like lasagne, mac & cheese, fish pie or chilli delivered? There is disabled access, colourings provided for kids, click and collect Love Page's!

You have to eat in here! Take away is good but eating in the restaurant is better. Staff always lovely and the food is spot on! I recommend the fish and chips and also the chicken tikka. Keep up the good work!

Good food at reasonable prices. One of the hidden gems of Cwmbran. My better half took me here and I was really surprised by the decor and friendliness of the staff, highly recommend this place and will certainly be returning.

Had the platter. Very disapointed. Everything was overly greasy. Yes it's fried food but all.i could taste was the grease, and the calamari was rubbery and hardly edible. Wouldn't go again. Didn't eat even half of the food. The chcolate cake was nice though.

Have been going to this restaurant for years and the food has always been good. Went today for my birthday and it was awful. I ordered the haddock which to me appeared and tasted undercooked. Could not attract the attention of the waitress and no one came to check our meal was ok so left most of the fish. When I told her she took the fish to the chef who said there was nothing wrong with it and that it was 2 pieces of fish one white and one brown that had been put together. Not what I would expect when I was paying £11.45 for it. We were made to feel that we were only complaining to get money taken off the cost of the meal. The fish was definitely below the standard I have been used to Needless to say will not be going back!!!

Our First time to Pages and we were so impressed the staff were lovely and very helpful, the food was amazing, we had fish and chips and it was really delicious, we will definitely go there again and recommend you to all our friends.

Lovely fish and chips at a good price. They do GF which is even better. Delivered to the Grange Hospital, which was very welcome after waiting 7 hours on a Saturday following a family medical issue. Can't fault food or service.
