Good friendly staff . Could be quicker but we're very busy as is normal unfortunately. Yet another visit. Still good 👍👍.

Great service, especially from the core team of Kerry, Nicky, Sian and Jason. Excellent coffee and hot chocolate. Usually busy, but that's the nature of the location.

Visiting Cwmbran and visited Costa for the first time, for a coffee. Staff were friendly and engaging and coffee was excellent. Came out of there with a smile on my face. Great way to start day.

Very busy long wait for coffee. Seemed to have loads of the take away order via App and these caused the problem. Needs sorting as people coming in the door should be served as quickly as these orders seemed to be.

Pop in when in Cwmbran can be buizy so need to pick and choose when to visit but usually served quite quickly but sometimes have to queue need to open a bigger one over there with more room 👍👍

It's always busy, staff are as friendly as can be, I don't ever buy food here as its a little expensive, not to take away the fact is does look delicious

Went in for a Coffee late afternoon. Was served by an incredibly helpful staff member named Sian. She went above and beyond to make a coffee extra hot (whilst also helping other team members learn) we stayed longer for some toasties and was treated with an excellent service from her. Whilst there we picked up a too good to go bag which was amazing.

First visit to this Costa and met by friendly staff reasonably busy but managed to find a seat Jason the barrister must be one of the friendliest barristers I have ever met good repertoire with all customers and very pleasant will be returning

Getting ridiculously expensive althoughyjis vusit I used my free drink. If I'd known decaf was just a coffee bag, not fresh ground, I wouldn't have bothered.

Always a pleasant to visit this Costa. I usually go with my 6 month old in a pram and every time have help from the staff to take my order to the table as I have the baby. The staff are pleasent and friendly and always make you feel welcome.

Relatively quiet at the time I went. I was served quickly, by friendly staff. Plenty of seats available for me to enjoy my cappuccino.

Been to many costas in the newport area and none can compare to this branch! staff are always friendly and have my regular iced soy chai latte ready on the go! Great service! Keep it up!

Went in just after 5pm a couple of tables had chairs on them 4 of us ordered our drinks and looked for a seat a female costa worker took the chair off the table and told us we could sit there, after 5 minutes a male worker came over and berated us for removing the chair saying that it was there for a reason we told him that his colleague had said it was OK Maybe if he had cleared the remaining tables people would not have to use the tables with chairs on

This is one I come to a lot!! All the time! I had the light whip for the first time in my Toblerone latte and thought I simply had to review this place and let everyone know the difference it makes! Staff lovely too, very smart I wish my daughters behaved as nice as them

Easily the best chain coffee shops there is , its the McDonald's of coffee in the way there is a conformity as each Costa offers the best coffee experience. Sadly since Whitbread sold them , it isn't quite as good but certainly the best of the chains

Can't remember the last time I was served in a reasonable time frame in there. Queue is nearly always put the door and you can forget it if you've got to be back at work in the next 20 mins. Absolute joke

I know it's a coffee shop but I asked for tea ? They make their life very complicated and queue structure gets longer than is necessary people then find tables and sit and wait for they're older stops you finding somewhere after you've cured got yours it's probably easier just go sit in the car

In Next shop in Cwmbran it was very busy, quite a queue. It was ok but it could be better.

Ok a bit slow in service but up to what I would expect in a town coffee shop. Prices as normal

Just stopped for a coffee nice sunny morning sat out front.

Unfortunately this store can't seem to handle busy periods on weekends. On two Sunday visits (about two months apart) it took around ten minutes to queue, order and then receive my order. It got so bad that they were queuing out the door and some abandoned the shop to go to Starbucks around the corner. Things picked up when another employee helped the barista with the orders but overall it was a negative experience from what was once a great coffee shop.

Massive queue and only 2 Batista's working which wasn't actually the issue.... The issue was that said Batista's would not stop talking to eachother and this made the queue longer! Whether there's 2 or 20 of them behind the counter service will be slow if they're all talking to eachother instead of doing their jobs

Was full but people there with empty drinks

Absolutely awful, only 2 people in front of me in the queue but the service was incredibly slow. Had 2 takeaway hot chocolates which I couldn't even describe as luke warm, upon tipping them out there were huge clumps of undisolved powder in the bottom. Would definitely not recommend you go there. I've had to give it 1 star as you have to select something, but it's 0 stars from me.

I love a coffee but the que was so slow. Great if your not in a rush for a caffeine fix.

Costa Cwmbran has lots of outdoor seating in a safe pedestrian only area. It's popular with shoppers and is usually busy
