I’ve been meaning to try Green and Wild Deli for sometime and finally managed to get there this weekend. Unfortunately it’s likely to be my one and only visit. Food took almost an hour to arrive and I’n all fairness they did they say, that there would likely be a 30 minute wait. Sadly the wait was not definitely not worth it. We ordered the Club Sandwich and Welsh Rarebit, with the highlight being the kids chicken nuggets and chips. I’d like to think I caught it on a bad day as it was very busy. But I assume that’s very much due to its location.

Rating is for the deli at the back me and my partner waited 40 minutes for a salad and a sandwich and the only cooked part of the sandwich was an egg and on the salad was 3 pieces of hallomi, tiny portions and the salad was awful. makes absolutely no sense to why our wait was so long, will not be returning.

An absolute jewel of a place, all the gardening products under one roof. Flowers a plenty, pots, furniture, plant food and so much more. Plus a stunning restaurant with all types of lovely food including a vegetarian menu as well. The staff in both the Garden Centre and the Restaurant are really helpful. You could spend hours walking around the garden centre and then finish off your afternoon with a meal and a pint. What more can you want. 🙏

I’m actually in the Olive Tree restaurant in the Garden Centre and I will say that it has a really nice atmosphere. The service and the food are good and I would definitely recommend it if you are passing. The garden centre itself is very well laid out although you could easily get lost as it does wind around a lot. The food hall prides itself on selling predominantly Welsh products and as I already buy a number of them from other food and craft fairs it’s nice to see them in a local market. All in all it was worth the stop while passing and I will definitely be coming back. If you have a moment I would recommend this place to you.

This is the 2nd time I have visited the olive tree whilst visiting the garden centre. I had such a lovely time the 1st with my mum; I came again with my hubby and teenager. We visited on a Sunday, where the tables were set for Sunday lunch, although we just had panini's and the most delicious cakes. We were served by the most wonderful staff member, who was so warm and friendly. I would have to say that the staff are super friendly and welcoming. There was a really lovely vibe to the place. The decor is really pretty and it was very clean and tidy. I will definitely be returning. It's a really lovely place

Loved my visit! Had afternoon tea with my mum and we were kindly given takeaway containers to bring home everything we couldn’t manage. The garden centre itself is gorgeous. All of the plants and flowers are well taken care of, none of the sad and tired looking offerings frequently found in the national chains. Do NOT go here if you have an allergy or an intolerance to any food. I am coeliac and ordered a gluten free brunch and was given the wrong bread. I was extremely ill for almost 2 weeks after the carelessness of this restaurant. When reported to them they were less than sympathetic and didn’t grasp the seriousness of the mistake that had happened. They sent pictures of the gluten free bread which was not what I had been given. I am very disappointed that an establishment like this couldn’t understand the seriousness and admit fault as they have ‘processes’ for allergy orders. Despite this something did go wrong and had lasting consequences for my health for 2 weeks. I will be reporting this matter further but want anyone with an allergy to stay away so you don’t suffer as well!

Yes, I really could spend lots of dosh here if bank balance allowed!! See you in the Spring! March, and it's changing again! It seems different every time we call! I haven't had any issues with the restaurant at back of the garden center (5 stars), however me and my wife had a cooked breakfast at Green & Wilde Deli Kitchen at the front. These were £10 each and both of us did not enjoy. Also we paid for 2 pieces of toast which we waited for and never came! Again I asked the waitress and was told it was put on one of the breakfast plates.I don't understand why? We sat there causally looking at the menu, and after sometime we thought perhaps we better go up and place our order. I asked at the till and they confirmed that we should place the order at the till and there was no table service. Anyway with that sorted we had a great All Day Brunch with coffee, great meal good quality. The meals and coffee arrived very quickly.
