Six Bells Inn in Bridgend

We went for a Sunday lunch. Food was hot, tasty and fresh. Your vegetables are better than a more expensive place not too far away. Pudding was fab too.

The Sunday lunches are to die for .Absolutely 1st class .Fresh well cooked and well presented .Delicious. The service is friendly they can't do enough for you . Just one thing l don't like the wine jack rabbit not to my taste perhaps but lots of other people drinking it and enjoying it.

Lovely little pub, near Coity Castle and worth visiting after a walk around it.

Ut' Tilly' fantastic. Dessert probably the most delicious I have ever had. ( Home made Bounty cheesecake ) Beef dinner , fab. First visit here. Definitely not the last. Thank you, guys.

What a fantastic little pub serving wonderful home cooked food. We had Sunday lunch here with friends and I must say it was first class. We went here because we read online it was the best roast in Bridgend and it lived upto it. We will be back.

Was recommended to give the Six Bells in Coity a try for takeaway Sunday lunch and it was great 👍 The gravy is unreal, beef was tender, decent size portions of veg, roast potatoes and mash potato were also very good, definitely visit again 🙌

Had a delicious Sunday lunch with group of friends today. Food was piping hot and the portions were very generous. The service was also friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend.

We call in on nice days for a pint and usually sit outside. Only one beer on handpull but it's usually a popular one, always tasty and well kept in my opinion. Friendly staff.

Having seen your concerns about the cellar fans, turn them off, the kegs and their contents are too cold anyway. Beer always tastes better when not starved of taste as it's too cold. Customers drink more when temp of drink higher. Good luck...

First time to the Six Bells. What a great place. Made to feel welcome by the locals, friendly staff behind the bar (sorry cannot remember name) and on leaving felt as if the Six Bells was my local. The real ale was like nectar after having to put up with keg beer in other places. This is a pub to visit and keep coming back to.

Sadly it,s was a wake. But What a lovely pub, sitting inside prosseco in one hand, buffet in the other looking out to the castle, what a setting, absolutely fantastic, buffet was lovely, plenty of veggie options, staff were so nice, couldn't do enough for us.

Always entertaining & fun and always feel welcome. This place has well and truly been turned around and would recommend to anybody seeking a good time. Beer is also good and there's plenty of choice without being over priced. The frequent live entertainment is always top quality and makes all the difference. A credit to the licenced sector.

Firstly I should state that the 6 Bells is our local pub. You are guaranteed a warm welcome from all of the amazing staff. It’s perfect for a relaxed evening drink and for food (not currently being served during the Covid regulations) . Nothing is too much trouble so come on down and relax in a friendly atmosphere

Thursday night is not only curry night, they now do other traditional meals too. The meals are really tasty and full of flavour with generous potions. You get a good welcome with a tidy pint to match. In times of cosmetic pubs serving pre-prepared food this is an honest village pub serving consistent quality freshly cooked food at a reasonable price. Be aware you may have to book though, as it's not the biggest of pubs.

We went for sunday lunch here recently. Its every thing you need , tasty , wholesome , hot and filling. A straight forward menu with a twist of valley puddings . The dining area is a little snug , but the staff are welcoming and friendly. Will go again

I have had three or four Sunday Lunches at the Six bells and they have been lovely. Lots of fresh food and homemade gravy. I have recommended the pub to others who have equally enjoyed the Sunday Lunch. Highly recommended

Small room for a gig. Good gig. Great drinks

Delicious food but we felt very rushed. Four of us ate and as soon as two of us had finished the plates were whipped away whilst the other two were still eating. I hadn't even put my knife and fork together and someone was wanting to take my plate. Considering we ordered at 7.30 and had finished by 8pm it wasn't as if they were waiting to close.

Visited here with friends for Sunday Lunch which was very enjoyable. Good service and food in pleasant surroundings.

Locally everyone’s talking about how the new team have transformed this village pub. I haven’t been to the curry night yet but it looks lush. Sunday lunch is a real bargain and you need to book. Plenty of meat loads of veg and gravy is lush. I don’t normally eat desserts BUT Tilley’s mum’s bread and butter pudding. Scrumptious!!

Popped in for the curry. Good to see the pub full. Has new management and we haven’t been so decided to try it as seen it on Facebook. Lovely curry. Good service. Only downside is the place is tired and hasn’t changed in all those years well worth a visit

This pub is under new management and the difference is very noticeable, staff friendly, pub busy , beer great and the Sunday lunch was wonderful. It was hot, the veg was served in dishes, the gravy was tasty and it all tasted freshly cooked. We were too full for pudding but they looked lovely.

Visited for Sunday lunch with family, my son had just woken up and was grisly the whole time and the staff were very understanding. The Sunday lunch was really good, food hot and seasoned well. No complaints from us. The restaurant/ lounge is very small so booking is essential, food tasted homemade. Well worth it, thank you.

Six Bells Coity is under new management and they try very hard to make sure the Sunday lunchtime experience is superb. I've been twice, both visits the food was excellent - value, amount and taste. High Quality in fact. They have 3 kinds of meat available with amble good quality veg and trimmings. Vegetarian Sunday lunch - which I've had both visits are really, really good. I had Wild mushroom and peanut roast but will try the other 3 veggie Sunday options on future visits. they do 1,2 or 3 courses (a Sunday main is very reasonable at £8.50) Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, they have a small beer garden and Bar on other side of the pub. TIP - book in advance it is a popular.

Nos lo habían recomendado este hotel unos amigos y no había visitado este pub durante años. Tuvimos la mejor comida de domingo cualquiera podría desear. Todo era fresco y muy bien preparada y presentada. No podíamos terminar toda la comida y nos dieron los envases para tomar la casa resto!!!!! El personal era amable y el propietario y la casera era extremadamente agradable. Nos reunimos con el chef y le dijo cómo impresionado con la calidad de su comida de los domingos. Sin duda volveremos aquí. Bien hecho a todos.

Es agradable encontrar un pub tradicional en este mundo de pubs irlandeses de plástico plantilla. Las seis Campanas de un edificio muy antiguo al que a veces nos andando a nuestro perro para disfrutar de una pinta así como otros pocos caminantes local perro. La comida es muy buena y el Chef (Del) es muy eficiente y servicial, especialmente cuando está tranquilo. Expresa una opinión señalaron que no hay para cambiar pañales - que no es malo porque impide 'precious' y 'Leva' desde corriendo ruidosamente y estropee una pinta. Hay muchos, muchos otros sitios que alojan niños, tienden a evitar aquellos como una estafa de correo electrónico nigerianas. Mi esposa y yo como una pinta con la conversación, si te gusta el mismo luego de las seis campanas también es su tipo de pub.

Hemos visitado las 6 campanas en varias ocasiones. La noche es noche de curry 15-18 y concurso. Personalmente no soy un gran fan de los concursos pero no dibuja una gran multitud. Ahora hay un nuevo chef en el 6 campanas y debo decir que el curry de arroz y patatas fritas en la noche 15-18 y fue el mejor que he tenido. Un crédito para el nuevo chef Del Walters.
