There are really many people here, and every diner is happy and chatting happily. The food materials are very good and the presentation is very beautiful. The male waiters are all very friendly and attentive.

Airways a winner coming here for a breakfast. My husband live the Cafe 37 special for only £9.85. I've recently discovered their omellettes. OMG the fluffiest, fullest ever. Good job guys.

Really enjoyed my meal here. My date and I walked away satisfied with fond thoughts. Delicious french toast. Good bacon, okay pancakes, meh sausage.

Food nice, service poor, portions generous and price too high! Tasty sausages and nice thick cut bacon, fried egg nice but not runny as requested, tomatoes nice, beans okay (cheap not Heinz), potato slices okay and tomatoes nice. Waffles with strawberries were nice but not enough ice cream. Ordered at the counter and not once were we asked if everything was okay. Our table was only approached when by a staff member when they needed the menu. Nice generous portions but slightly overpriced. I would say £1 off everything would be better in this day and age.

We visited Cafe 37 for breakfast when we were staying in Cardiff city centre. We received a warm welcome & there were plenty of tables available. The food was brilliant! We ordered 2 full English breakfasts & pancakes that came with coffees or juices. The breakfasts were delicious & arrived hot. The portion sizes were generous & everything was well priced. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Cafe 37 for breakfast!

Wow! Two days in a row! Trust me, skip the hotel breakfast and go here. Food is fantastic and the most friendly & professional staff in the UK.

Café 37 has had a refurbishment since the last time I visited and it's fantastic, very stylish and nice to see the price's haven't increased to pay for it, excellent menu which caters for every taste, Café 37 now take card payment too

Imagine a hotel breakfast buffet. That's the best way I can describe Cafe 37. It's super cheap and you get huge portions but the food itself isn't the best tasting. It's not bad but it definitely won't blow you away. The restaurant itself is very cute ambience was well built with the music and signage on the walls. It's an order at counter type of restaurant from what I gathered so don't bother waiting for table service. The coffee was also the cheapest I've found in Cardiff so far for just £2.5 for a cappuccino. The venue was clean and the food came fast. Don't expect five star quality food but for the price it's definitely worth it. I spent £12.5 on my meal and it was huge.

We came here with some American clients for pancakes and an American breakfast & it was great. The staff were really friendly and the food was lovely!

They've completely redone the place since I was last here, and they take card payments now!

We visited today for the first time since reopening. Excellent food, friendly staff, great service. A lot more spacious than it used to be, and very clean tables. Very good value for money, and they accept card payments. If you liked the old Cafe 37 you will love the new one. We will definitely be back 🙂

UPDATED MENU INCLUDED. Great value breakfast including build your own. Pancakes were perfectly fluffy and hasbrowns were flavourful and crispy.

Unbelievable quality! I was staying in travelodge above walkabout in city centre. On the 1st morning we had spoons but found this very inadequate after a heavy night out. The following morning, after another heavy night we decided to look online at what was available. Nothing was particularly close but cafe 37 was 0.8 miles away, after a short discussion as to whether or not the 25 minute walk would be worth it we decided to risk it for a chocolate biscuit and well, what a bloody fantastic decision it was, Arguably one of the best cafe breakfasts I've every had and should I return to Cardiff at any point ill certainly be back. So in a nut shell, don't even 2nd guess the walk! Just do it !

Delivery was almost an hour later than was scheduled, was left outside the wrong house and food was disgusting. Will not be ordering again

The food here was very good and cooked beautifully. Plenty of choice to accommodate for all. Needed to prompt for missing items which were quickly dealt with. My only gripe with this place is that it is too far away from my home town otherwise I would be a regular and get a lot fatter, maybe a blessing in disguise

Great selection of breakfasts on the menu, including vegetarian options. Very tasty and suitable for hangover breakfast as the menu suggests!

Delicious! I had the create your own breakfast and loved it all! Great veggie food but have to admit the waffle was my favourite 😍 delivery was prompt and courteous.

My toast was pretty soggy from the butter & and I asked for dippy eggs and the yolks were cooked all the way through. It was an okay breakfast for the price.

Appalling breakfast. Everything was freezing cold, barring the mushrooms which were rock hard and undercooked. The bacon was stone cold, overcooked and hard. Not sure how anyone can rate this place 5*

Massive portions, the pancakes with bacon was belly bursting. The staff are lovely and the breakfast was good value, only one thing was the ketchup was a cheap version.

Ive ordered 2 veggie breakfast from deliveroo today, reason i order that is because I don't eat meat. But instead of that we got full breakfast all meat. I did tell deliveroo about it but our day didn't start great as it was waste of food. Gladly i did order on the side french toast Which it was ok... Frist time ordering here by the way..

Not sure if this place is under new management, but I have been a regular here for years and today was the worst experience I’ve ever had. There must of been at least 8 staff all together, 4 in the kitchen but the service was diabolical. Everyone running round like headless chickens. Food given after a very long wait, with no cutlery. My daughter always has the Waffles (plural as the menu quite clearly says), but she only got one waffle. Didn’t even bother complaining as I had almost finished my breakfast by the time one waffle came, so definitely wasn’t going to wait for another one. Very disappointing

Not really impressed! The food might taste good, but service is bad. Price was alright for what we got - had a full English breakfast (it’s called cafe 37) and it came with a cup of tea for around £9. The tea came straight away but by the time the food came, I had finished it. Also when we first sat down, (it was really busy so we grabbed the first table) it was dirty from the previous people & I assumed the people would realise new people sat there but they didn’t even come to clean it. I was wiping the table myself with the napkins. They also forgot to bring sweeteners for our cups of tea. When they brought cutlery, my boyfriend had a bent fork😂. Another thing, you get a choice of beans or tomatoes. I chose tomatoes and there were still bits of beans on my plate! Overall great food (amazing fried bread) but don’t think I’ll ever go again!

Food was filling. The food portions are good. I had the pancakes which were well sized. Partner had waffles and ice cream and felt it tasted store bought. In terms of atmosphere, it’s like one of those roadside diners in American movies. It adds to the authenticity.

Amazing and affordable breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. My mates and I couldn’t find a place to eat at the bay but this was a great spot and just what we needed. Fantastic food, will definitely be going back.

On holiday and was looking for this Caffè, we walked 15 to find it and me and my partner was so glad we did. I had the eggs benedict with crushed avacado, my partner had a make your own breakfast and gave him a free pancake with maple syrup. We shared the pancake... Have to say it was all incredible!

Lovely local cafe, with really affordable prices and huge portions. A real throwback cafe in some ways - good, uncomplicated food served by a friendly team. At the same time, it's a modern, clean cafe with a semi-open kitchen. Thanks for the breakie guys 🙏

Absolutely top notch! I've been going to Ramons across the road for years. Ramons is not what it used to be, due to multiple ownership turnover. Tried this place last week and been twice since. Will be a long time customer.

We were actually due to attend a different cafe for breakfast but arrived to find it closed so went here instead which seemed to be a major upgrade anyway we were well pleased with our visit. Will forever be the best breakfast place in Cardiff, can't beat the Brioche French toast.

Order for delivery, food came cold and without some of the items. Couldn’t eat. Really disappointed.

That’s twice myself and my husband have had breakfast from Cafe 37. Both the English breakfast fry up, pancakes and waffles are all amazing. The food comes hot and always within the time that’s promised. It’s starting to become a real naughty treat for us to have this on a Saturday morning, but it’s worth every bite.

Great cafe that serves breakfast all day, a wide variety of choice on the menu and good prices. We always look forward to stopping here before going into town for shopping.

Cafe 37. The name doesn't let you down, has the American look with booths and the breakfast options are good. Choose between American pancakes or your full English. They have a good choice whichever you choose right down to the drinks they do aswell.

This is not my first time to order “..I like your food especially the omelettes.. but today your food doesn’t seems okay.. the chicken fajitas for the jacket potatoe smells horrible and even doesn’t taste good. Please try to wash your chicken well and I advise you with some lemon so the smell can go away..
