The food took us all by surprise! It was really really nice! Though the interior was a surprise to say the least, being very modern and minimal compared to the classic British pub we were expecting from the outside, the food was great! I had chicken with a cream sauce and potato cake which was divine, and all the other meals got high praise - a steak sarnie, steak and chips, and cauliflower fritters too. All lovely. The staff went above and beyond for us, and despite a lengthy wait, it was so worth it! Thanks so much, and if you’re looking for a well-priced quality meal in the area, I don’t think there’s much better!

Loved our meal tonight in Bistro 8. My friend is recently vegan for health reasons, really enjoyed her vegan curry & vegan chips. Jasmine reassured us throughout the visit for both myself as vegetarian and my friend being vegan. She even checked the allergy list for us. However, our meat eating friend thoroughly enjoyed her meal, the pasta was great. Thank you!

Have been a few times here for lunch, this time I had scallops to start(fantastic), a salmon and hake wellington which was nice but needed more sauce, it was a little dry, followed by an espresso crème brûlée (lovely). The whole pub was very busy and a great vibe, plenty of happy people and noise that I like . The staff were also lovely and the main waitress was fab. If you’ve not been then try it, best to book.

I stopped at The Afan Lodge today, while walking my dog as it is a dog friendly venue. I was served by Sam & Fran, whom were absolutely delightful, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was cosy and the views beautiful on this sunny day. I had a pub lunch, which was amazing too! A recommended stop off if you are in the area 💗

The Dynevor Arms is now our preferred lunch venue when we are travelling to and from the Irish ferries. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The menu is interesting and always tasty. In addition as travelling means we cannot be very accurate with our arrival time we have appreciated the flexibility when we have been either early or late!

Recently visited The Cwtch for the first time with my Mum. A very nice welcome and efficiently seated. The young lady that served us was very friendly and happy and she was very busy and is a credit to you. A very well run and clean place. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed! Can't wait to return and I have already recommended you to a lot of people ☺️ thankyou so much for a lovely time xx

I have never experienced a restaurant with such inconsistent service. It's a shame as the food in my experience is generally nice. For context the last 5 times I have tried to eat at Parc deli the restaurant has been closed despite it being within the stated opening hours, whether it is open or not seems to be a totally arbitrary coin flip. When I am lucky enough to find it open they are often out of fried chicken a staple menu item. Overall a very frustrating experience of a restaurant I enjoy. I will not be returning as it has become a regular issue

Although we live local we haven’t been to the New inn for a Sunday lunch in years. We called in on the off chance today, even though we hadn’t booked and they were very busy they managed to accommodate us in the bar area where our dogs were also made very welcome. There weren’t any vegan options advertised for the Sunday lunch however they managed to rustle up a complete dinner and separate gravy which was all absolutely delicious. My wife and kids had the regular roasts and all said their food was faultless. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly. Would 100% recommend and we look forward to going again.

Myself and my partner came to visit this cute little town for a weekend and found this place online. As pizza lovers and frequent visitors to Ramona in Manchester we had to come! The cocktails were so so nice and the pizza was unreal, my partner was obsessed with the pizza sauce he asked for more and we went away with 2 tubs which was so lovely! Such good value for money and the portion sizes are huge! Really nice decor and atmosphere too. If you are in the area, you must visit!

No longer serve food but the welcome from the bar staff is always warm. Use this as my local and wouldn't go anywhere else.
